“Ordered all parts, brake discs and pads front and rear, using my regular number. Only to find when I came to fit them that they were the incorrect parts, not even the same model! Rang to see what I could do and was told that the website was rubbish and I should have phoned in. Wouldn’t deliver correct parts to swap over! Managed to get to the depot where I was told again that the website is rubbish, so why have it!!! However the female counter assistant was very helpful in swapping the parts for the correct ones.”

“Ordered 6 litres of Castrol GTX C4, 4 Litres and 2 X 1 litres. Only one of the 2 litres was C4. Had to return to the shop but didn't have a second bottle in stock. Was told that it could be ordered and available by 2pm. Went in next day and was told it wouldn't be in until 10am. After some searching it was located on one of the shelves.”

“Ordered a cambelt kit, water pump and aux belt. The aux belt was incorrect for my vehicle (I used the registration feature on the website) so now I had to put the old belt back on will take me twice as long... Thanks.”

“The parts at GSF Wirral are reasonably priced, but the customer service is really poor. Every time I’ve been in, I’ve had to wait 10–15 minutes before anyone even acknowledges me. The staff are usually sat around the corner chatting with each other instead of helping customers. This isn’t just a one-off — it’s happened on 3 separate visits for me, and 2 times for a friend as well. I’d honestly rather order online or go to Euro Car Parts where I know I’ll be served quickly. It’s a shame because the Liverpool branch of GSF is excellent with great customer service. The Wirral branch really needs to sort their staff out.”

“The prices are good, but it starts to be a bit pointless when they say it's in stock and you end up making 3 trips because they can organise themselves. Come on GSF, why is your online stock system run by a 3rs party company who don't actually know the stock levels. I can't use you in future because you cost me 5 hours in wasted journeys and 2 days waiting for parts.”

“First time I've had a hiccup with GSF. Ordered a battery went to collect it but unfortunately it was dead. Returned to the store 3 times. Eventually got one. This minor problem will not prevent me from using GSF as my "go to" for car parts.”
