“MY WIFE CALLED ME TO SAY HER MITSUBISHI SHOGUN (2015) WOULD NOT START, I KNEW THE BATTERY WAS NOT AT ITS BEST AND SEARCHED THE INTERNET FOR A REPLACEMENT. I MANAGED TO NARROW MY CHOICE DOWN TO A DECENT RECOMMEND YUASA 335 BATTERY WITH A 5YR GUARANTEE. NOT ABLE TO WAIT FOR DELIVERY I SEARCHED FOR AVAILABLE TO COLLECT WHERE A LOCAL GSF STORE CAME UP WITH STOCK. IT WAS AT A STUPID, WAY OVER PRICED COST WITHOUT THE WELL ADVERTISED DISCOUNT CODE (NEAR £283) . ONCE THE DISCOUNT CODE WAS APPLIED IT BROUGHT THE COST DOWN TO JUST AVERAGE PRICE (£113). I COULD HAVE SAVED A LITTLE IF I COULD WAIT FOR DELIVERY BUT LIKE I SAID I NEEDED IT STRAIGHT AWAY. I CHECKED THE LOCAL STOCK ONLINE AND MADE MY WAY TO MY NEAREST WITH STOCK. WENT INTO STORE (WITHOUT ORDERING ONLINE) AND WAS OFFERED THE SAME BATTERY AT £180...? ASKED WHY THE POLITE STAFF SAID THEY CANT MATCH ONLINE PRICE? I STOOD AND ORDERED IT ONLINE FOR £113 WAITED 5MIN AND WALKED OUT WITH THE SAME BATTERY OFF THE SHELF. ALL IN ALL GOT IT FOR A DECENT PRICE OFF THE SHELF WITHIN AN HOUR MY WIFE WAS BACK ON THE ROAD. JUST ORDER ONLINE TO GET THE BEST PRICE AND COLLECT IN STORE ...”

“I had to wait about 10 minutes on my parts being picked even though they were "ready for collection". Normally this wouldn't be an issue but I had a taxi waiting.”

“I like the online ordering and I have used it many times, but I think there needs to be something more in line with the parts checker in stores, I recently ordered a cam belt kit using my Reg and it was wrong, but after going into my local store (banbury) the really helpful staff was able to get me the correct kit from there system. I also think that it should tie in the local stores for a quicker delivery option even if it costs a little for delivery so you don’t have to wait for Royal Mail to do the delivery! (I’m still waiting for my parts I ordered Thursday Morning and it’s Monday) luckily i’m not in a mad rush for the parts. Overall I’m always happy to use gsf over other competitors.”

“The website worked fantastically and allowed me to order the parts I needed and collect them nearly instantly in store. My only quibble is the fact that there are differing prices between in store and online, meaning that I had to order the items online despite me standing in the store. Apart from this however I got the parts I needed and had service with a smile from the shop assistant (something unusual these days)! (Gloucester Store)”

“Very good service, but my only worry is the parts? I purchased a temperature coolant sensor, For my golf , And it has no markings on it ? Surely it should have a reference number on it , it was the expensive sensor and the numbers were ground off the side, , And it could have been the cheaper part, ?? There is no way off checking it,”

“Always find the staff in the ipswich branch very helpful and friendly. They have a lot of products in stock and easily get parts in that they don't have. The only problem is the online webpage is offer slow And glitches”
