“Discussions with Consultant went very well, hearing aids provided are very good and follow-upseems to be working.considerable difficulty in arranging follow-up at convenient time as it seems very difficult to speak to a real live person at the branch.no doubt just unfortunate, but my follow-up appointment has been changed three times - illnesses, internet problems etc”

“I have no quibble with the recent assessment, fitted in for my convenience at 08.30 hrs. The air and bone conduction tests were carried out appropriately. I was less enthusiastic to be advised that my hearing aids are now obsolete and then subject to a gentle sales pitch to encourage me to spend from £3,000 to £5,200 on upgrading to the last model which is 'just out' and may well incorporate features which I neither need nor want when my current hearing aids are doing fine. I had been asked for a copy of the audiometry by a Consultant ENT Surgeon whom I was shortly to see and thereby ran into problems. The copy could not be printed out and handed to me - that was against company procedures! I was assured that an e-mail would be sent immediately, a Thursday morning, and the copy would be forwarded via the compliance officer which would reach me by the week-end or at least Monday. It had not arrived, nor clearly was even in the post by Monday afternoon when I phoned the head office. Having explained the position to a member of the Customer service staff, the request overcame the hurdles and once my e-mailed consent for its transmission (medical information is not normally sent by e-mail) had been received, the requested result was e-mailed to me before I left for my appointment on the Tuesday afternoon.”

“I visited Kelsey at the Forest pines resort in Broughton lincs. Right from the start I was made very welcome. Kelsey was very polite and professional. I’ve had a hearing test before but I found this time it was very thorough and of course painless.”

“The gentleman who came to see me was very friendly and helped me to understand exactly what he was doing and why. He did tell me my hearing was definitely going, well I supposed I had sort of guessed, although as he said we always blame the other person, in this case the actors on t.v. I did say that they mumbled and didn't articulate properly and he said that was what he meant! He also said that I wouldn't go deaf immediately but it would happen slowly, so I was reassured. Thank you very much G”
