“OK but a little disappointed with some of the content, seems to repeat itself.”

“I thought the content of the course I studied was thorough and relevant. I am not keen on the format and pace of the training, especially when 'reviewing'. I suggest once each module is complete, that the review sections have the timer taken off, or even better, provide learners with copies of all completed slides, enabling pre-test revision at their own pace. Furthermore, copies of PDFs of the content would be very useful to have access to after completing the training if something needed to be checked.”

Hello John, Thank you for your review! I’m really happy to hear you found the content to be thorough and relevant. Unfortunately, the course material is unavailable to print or be provided in a PDF format because each course is 100% online and interactive with moving images. There is also a risk that learners may refer to the information in the future when legislation has changed unfortunately. Even after you have completed the course and passed the test, your login details will remain valid for 12 months so you can login again in the future if you need to refer back to the course material. To do this, simply log back in and click "Previous" in the modules until you've reached the pages that you want to review. There shouldn't be any timers throughout our courses, you are able to stay on a page for as long as you want even after the voiceover has stopped. “I did get a few questions wrong, however, I did not understand why they were wrong. I did ring your service to check, but it would have been helpful if you system explained why the answers were wrong, as even when I went back to review the section it was still not clear. More simplistic approach would have been preferred on a complicated topic.”

The reason we don’t show the correct answer if you have got a question incorrect is because we encourage our learners to recap on the areas where they went wrong to ensure they fully understand the material, and I am sure you can appreciate the responsibility we have as a training provider to ensure our users truly understand the information and course material in order to pass the training and receive their certificate. “Very slow and laborious, repetitive, prefer to have notes to read not have slides drip fed too slowly. I switched off the voice as I was reading more quickly than she was speaking and she was irritating me. Not my preferred learning method.”

“At the end of the course I would have thought that we would have had the opportunity to take minutes of a virtual meeting. For £40 plus VAT it was very disappointing”

“Very knowledgeable, however could be more interactive to make you more confident that you understand it all. Questions on assessment are also very easy and do not really challenge your learning and understanding of the overall module. Overall could definitely be improved as it is a very basic course.”

“Jompleted a second course for work. This was the first one I came across that I could do without the use of a laptop/device with word/excel. Great you don't have to do the course in one sitting and certificate (first course) was delivered quickly for being in a pandemic. Have found a fair few courses I am interested in infortunately I don't have the funds to sign up to them all at once. Looking forward to doing my next one. Thank you High Speed Training”

The Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering course is a very in depth course and covers a lot of necessary topics in order to ensure that the learner has met the UK and EU legal requirements. The course can be spread out over several sessions, and doesn’t have to be completed in one go which may help in terms of the length of the course!
