“The course was fine, although I found the narrator voice a bit unengaging. I also found the distinction between the H+S file, the Pre-construction info and the Construction Phase plan a bit unclear. I understood that each is prepared by a different person, but it was not clear which is required first and whether some information is duplicated between them. Perhaps you should provide a simplified example of each.”

“Decent enough, the platform works smoothly, though not a fan of the voice used on the courses as the S syllable goes right through me!”

“It was thorough, but the pace is too slow, even at the "fastest" setting... it does not make sense to wait for the narrator to finish; some people are able to read much faster (while still being thorough)”

Hi Christopher, thank you for your review and feedback! I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t find the course covered the aspects on how to complete a Risk Assessment. The last 2 modules in the course are dedicated to this and explains in detail the COSHH Risk Assessment and control measures and also monitoring the assessment and health surveillance. I am sure you can appreciate the responsibility we have as a training provider to ensure our users are taking the time to read and understand the information in front of them. I do however appreciate some people absorb information faster than others! There is a settings button within our courses and it does allow you to select your course speed to suit your preference, I hope that this will improve your experience if you do training with us again! “From a personal point of view, this was an interesting programme. However, I believe that the 80% pass rate must be reconsidered. Some of the wrong answers are relatively harmless and may be considered as reasonable judgement calls for someone in a DSL role. However in some cases the incorrect responses would lead if repeated to a failed inspection and more importantly might put a child at greater risk. Hence, might I suggest that if two critical negative responses are given, then the course must be retaken.”

“Fine except I sit at a desk in an office so 50% of the content was not relevant. This made it rather dull and slow.”
