It was thorough, but the pace is too slow, even at the "fastest" setting... it does not make sense to wait for the narrator to finish; some people are able to read much faster (while still being thorough)

the coshh course was informative but did not cover the actual aspects of how to complete a good coshh assessment

Hi Christopher, thank you for your review and feedback! I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t find the course covered the aspects on how to complete a Risk Assessment. The last 2 modules in the course are dedicated to this and explains in detail the COSHH Risk Assessment and control measures and also monitoring the assessment and health surveillance. I am sure you can appreciate the responsibility we have as a training provider to ensure our users are taking the time to read and understand the information in front of them. I do however appreciate some people absorb information faster than others! There is a settings button within our courses and it does allow you to select your course speed to suit your preference, I hope that this will improve your experience if you do training with us again! From a personal point of view, this was an interesting programme. However, I believe that the 80% pass rate must be reconsidered. Some of the wrong answers are relatively harmless and may be considered as reasonable judgement calls for someone in a DSL role. However in some cases the incorrect responses would lead if repeated to a failed inspection and more importantly might put a child at greater risk. Hence, might I suggest that if two critical negative responses are given, then the course must be retaken.

Fine except I sit at a desk in an office so 50% of the content was not relevant. This made it rather dull and slow.

you need to review the wording for question 19 - which job candidates require a dbs check: volunteers, cleaners, maintenance, all jobs regardless of their position sports coaches. it has to be made clearer as not all jobs and volunteer roles needs a DBS check, these are based on regulated activity.
