Heads up that H and M has jumped on the Card Only bandwagon. Planned on buying several items today. There was a long queue at the tills and only ONE desk that would accept cash. All the others said CARD ONLY. I already boycott other stores that play this game and am very disappointed to see my favourite store go the same way. Since everyone in the queue was paying cash, it caused a huge bottleneck and we all stood around waiting for the cash desk while the girls at the Card desks stood idle. I will not tolerate this discrimination, if you think you are going to bully me into paying my card, you are wrong. After 15 min i ended up dumping my items and walking out.

I find the staff are not helpful maybe lazy - when I asked if a shirt came in a different color .... they said I don’t know rather than checking to see if it came in only one color ... with another of searching I found it myself in the color I wanted. I didn’t buy it because the staff was very unhelpful ! LAZY

H&M takes too long to deliver!! I receive international packages faster than H&M! And I spoke with an operator and she said “due to the pandemic” I think not !! Before the pandemic it was twice as long! Actually during these times it’s still a long wait but maybe three days less then when the pandemic started !!!

When in your livingston store today I purchased a few items from your children’s sale rail. One of the items went through at full price so I queried it. I was told that this was new season stock so wasn’t in the sale. I went back over to the sale rail and picked up the same dress smaller size and brought it over to the counter to show this dress had the reduced sticker on it. Even though these two dresses were identical I was told one was old stock and one was new. I think asked why this dress was in the sale rail then? The cashier who had not been pleasant, smiley or helpful from the get go huffed and asked if I wanted to speak to a manager? I said I did and with another huff ( obviously causing her great inconvenience) she went and got the manager. When your manager came over I explain the situation. The two identical dresses were next to each other in the sale rail!?! How could one be reduced and the other not? The manager was rude and aggressive and told me that there was nothing she could do. A customer prob put it there. I said that’s fine remove it from the total. The attitude of the manager was worse than the original staff member. There was a queue of customers now forming behind me and the manager did nothing to deal with my request in a pleasant of professional manner instead she made me feel like an inconvenience and made sure the rest of the queue knew it. The cashier then advised that this position might not be taking cards. She did not explain that to me prior to putting all the stuff through. I was paying by card. She said she would give it a shot as it had been a while but of course it didn’t work. I was then passed over to the next cashier to process my transaction. I was asked if I wanted a bag for my purchases 3 different times. Which I said yes please to each time I was asked. On the way out I looked round the store and could not see the dress that had been in the sale rail anywhere else in the shop!?! My issue isn’t so much about not getting the dress for the discounted price and more about how I was treated by the two members of staff. I like H&M clothing but think I will be shopping online in future. Customer service is poor.

It's not the first time I bought a pair of jeans/pants on H&M and although I am careful to take clothes made of similar materials and I properly consult the size chart, at least I have to throw them away or return them (at my expense) cause H&M don't even change the item. U simply have to pay the return cause u can't change it with another size going to an h&m store of ur city. U r obligd to pay a new order on the web site all over again. I'm disappointed cause I love this brand.

Payment was a struggle - all details were correct however the site kept failing at check out! The money was still taken but returned a week later.

they have sent my parcel with my hermes, I explained customer service three times but no solution, I wasted my three days and birthday gift i order as the parcel they delivered to wrong address and they couldnt track .

Perhaps this and Next are the only two high street brands who CHARGE you for a click and collect, others from ASDA to M&S do NOT charge a single penny for a click and collect. Two stars.

Shopped at H & M store in Ontario, CA at Ontario Mills Outlet and it was a nightmare. They double charged my acct. and have a uncaring attitude. It will take 3-10/days for their mistake to clear on my account. Carry cash and beware of them saying re-entering your info is okay because its not.

The staff always seem to be the slowest of all retailers. Plus on more than one occasion I have been asked if I want a bag and responded 'no' but still been charged. I am not going to stand and ask for a few pence back but I am wondering why they don't bloody listen instead of chatting between themselves.

I'm only giving a low review which I never usually do but I recently ordered jewellery online with h&m and I used a gift card with my order. Before paying it said my balance and it showed the gift card deduction and then the balance which was all correct. However a few days later I checked my bank account and seen the full amount went out of my account, it didn't mention the gift card deduction anywhere but it did when I placed the order. I've been in touch with h&m about this and I'm waiting on an email, which doesn't seem to ever be coming... I'm quite annoyed by this. I don't have a h&m store in my home town as i got the voucher from an out of town relative as a present. I will be returning them when they arrive as I'm very dissatisfied with the service.

I bought vests for my girls in the sales and they were one and paid £ 3 each. After 1 hours of one of them been worn it came away at the seem. I tried to return it without a receipt as I couldn't find it anywhere. They refused an range saying it was old stock and from a multipack and it was £3 For 2 items. I obviously paid 3 for one as they where split in store. I explained all this still was refused an range for faulty goods and the customer service told me to go back and I went and got spoke to like a piece of dirty bare in my mind my daughter is 7 months so I couldn't have bought the summer vest 9- 12 months more than the six months that they were assuming I did. Well I went in today and they have a few items from multipack in the sale as single yet again so I would like to warn people if you buy this items and they are faulty they will not be able to return them cause they will be asked for the other items in the pack.

Have shopped at Rotherham store twice this week to be served by the same girl( Beth)who should not be working in a customer service role. Very rude.No please or thank you even though I thanked her for serving me! She needs to remember that customers pay her wages. Teach your staff to acknowledge your customers and don't let them feel like an interruption.

I used to like ordering online from h&m but my last order was a nightmare. Half of the items did not fit (their sizing is all over the place!), so I returned it to one of their stores for larger sizes. Only to find that they only had half of the items on the floor and I was told I would have to reorder the rest online. Refund took ages to reflect on my bank acc. Phoned customer service to arrange collection of parcel but waited 15 minutes on the phone to be helped. Customer service staff sounded irritated. I don't think I will ever shop at h&m again.
