Hobby lobby states that they took their 40% coupon away so that they can have prices on other items be more reasonable but the past two times i have been there the items i have wanted to purchase were not on sale and were full price with no discounts. I looked on amazon and can get those same items for at least $7 cheaper, and that adds up when you are wanting several of that item. I unfortunatley walked out both times without purchasing anything and i guess im going to have to shop at amazon now for my craft supplies because without some sort of coupon or discount the prices are just way too high compared to many online websites. The discounts at least make it seem a little more reasonably priced and i can justify that kind of spending in my mind. I love hobby lobby and used to go there all the time but i just cant see doing it when the prices are significantly higher than i would have to pay to shop elsewhere...plus have it shipped to my house for free. It is really disappointing.

This is only for the S Lamar, Austin, TX location. I first called to ask if they had a certain size of a sketchbook I had bought in a smaller size before. The woman in the art department on the phone was so abrupt and clearly showed that she had no interest in helping me. I asked if they had the size they usually have and she said no, and that's all. I could tell she was lying, so I went to the store and found what I was looking for, no thanks to her. After finding what I wanted, I needed help in finding something else that I thought the framing department would be able to assist me with. I walked past the door where the employee was working in the back. I stood at the counter waiting, until I realized he wasn't going to come out and help me. So I went over and asked him for help. He huffed, like actually huffed, and said, "no, we don't have that." And I asked if he had anything similar or something he thought might work as well, and said, "nope." It's hobby lobby, of course you have SOMETHING. Anyway, I was frustrated with the two laziest employees at Hobby Lobby today because usually I love that place. The only reason I gave it 2 stars and not 1 is for that reason, and also because of the nice cashier woman at the front. P.S. I'm not a Karen, nor one in the making. I'm a Gen Z artist who loves happy people and colorful things. It's just frustrating when grumpy people make something that could be so simple, difficult.

S/O to store 700 in Fresno, Ca. For customizing a picture frame for me. They had great customer service skills that made me feel like I was a part of Hobby Lobby “family”. Thanks Paul

Hobby Lobby is a Greedy company. The most recent thing they did was take away the 40% off coupon that they offered since for one regularly priced item and they have had that since the day they I opened. During a pandemic while people are hurting financially they take that away they should be ashamed and to call themselves a Christian company they are far from that. I will no longer shop there and Michael’s and Jo Ann fabric will get all my business now

Very disappointed they lied. Said once the coupon stopped they would have more items discounted but it’s the same sales every week they always had.

SO disappointed Hobby Lobby no longer offers ANY coupons!! I used to shop at Hobby Lobby at least once a week. There is a nearby Michael's, Joanne's and Hobby Lobby, I always chose Hobby Lobby due to the wonderful 40% coupon, well no more! I may as well go to Michael's or Joannes since they at least offer 20% off coupons. Hobby Lobby, so many of us are disappointed with your choice!! Bye bye.

It no longer offers the weekly coupon and a lot of the generic art supplies are not included in the sales.

They got rid of their 40% off coupon and prices are still ridiculous. No reason to go here anymore!

Hi all Hobby Lobby fans, just a friendly reminder to never order from Hobby Lobby online, they have no cancel link and refuse to provide you with a pre-paid shipping label or refund shipping.

Love Hobby Lobby but I was told you will no longer have in stock Jesus Loves Me Ribbon but you do carry plentyyyy of RainyRibbon. Doesn’t make sense. Well Amazon carries it.

I went to our local Hobby Lobby to purchase a small amount of fabric to repair my chair. When I approached the counter the employee started to lecture me about "being kind"! Apparently a man who was standing off to my right and not at the counter had been there first. I didn't notice him because my peripheral vision isn't good. I told the man to go ahead but be insisted that I go ahead. Then the employee goes to the rack orders me to step back. Just a really bad attitude! I will never go back!

Thank Goodness!!! They got rid of crazy coupons and just offer weekly discounts. At Joanna you spend so much time at check out only to find half the coupons don’t work for some reason. Good Job (again) Hobby Lobby in taking care of your customer!!

My local Hobby Lobby refused to honor my 40% off coupon from their phone app! They said they no longer honor it but before I went I pulled up the coupon. It was good until March 27. Today is the 26th. If they are not going to honor it, why is it still on the app! I felt like I was being ripped off big time. From now on I will do all my shopping at Michaels!

Every time I go to the Laredo store the manager always acts that I am stealing.I am a Christian and I see what he is doing. I use to like to go to the store but how many other people feel that they are stealing. Bad training of the managers there and unprofessional.I feel that I am targeted every time I go but now I will not go and I will tell others not to go!

You no longer have on line coupons. I was told covid hit hobby lobby hard so they did away with them. Really? I went to your store in Ocala Florida and purchased $261 of items for a nursery some of which were not on sale. Got home and hung everything on the walls. The person working the register said that if I brought my receipt back the next week they could check the item number and could adjust the price of the items that went on sale. She said nothing about having to bring the items back in. When I got to the store I was told I would have to bring the items in. Well that cost me around $50-60. Won’t shop there again.

50% off posted everywhere in store. I get up to register & before being rung up. The cashier says you have to pay full price for these items. I said, they were hanging on the end cap with a sign posted 50% off. I was told in small print it is 50% off for table top items. This is so misleading!! Not to mention I stood in line for 20mins or more. I don't care to shop at this store ever again.

Hobby Lobby has great craft supplies, but I am disappointed in their doing away with their 40% off one item coupons. I was already disappointed with their decision to get rid of coupons for teachers, but this latest one may keep me from shopping there ever again.

Hobby Lobby customer service is poor. I waited in line for 30 minutes. Informed the floor manager that the two ladies at the register are very slow. She was not friendly and told me to just wait patiently you for the are trainees at the register. I told her to open another register for the line was getting longer and people are waiting for so long. The store is at Landmark Plaza. This is suppose to be a Christian store but the manager is not at all kind and sympathetic to the customer. I’m not impressed with this company.
