“Straightforward site with no gliches like B**king. Com ! Like the easy to spot icons with info saying where pets are NOT allowed...made it easier for us to book a place that was pet free...have had bad past experiences in cottages where pets are welcome !”

“Very easy booking process and communication. Refined search are useful. We were able to find a dog friendly property quickly. Description and photos were very useful.”

“A very wide variety of cottages to choose from. I like the format of the website, very easy to navigate and lots of good pictures of the properties. Also, plenty of information about the properties. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is simply due to the fact that it is a central office dealing with the bookings and if you have any specific questions about particular areas of the properties they don't have local knowledge. Smaller cottage companies have that more detailed information which they can provide.”

“Iveing View has literally become our 2nd home. We recently returned from our 6th visit and, as always, had a wonderful time. The cottage is well appointed and very well maintained. It was scrupulously clean for our arrival. Situated on the outskirts of Ambleside, it is but a short walk from the town centre. Public transport links are excellent. You'll not find a better place to stay in the glorious Lake District.”

“We found the cottage,a fantastic place to stay for the week, so quiet, but did find the noise from the heating very disturbing at night, to the point where we had to put cottonwool in our ears. Other than that we had a fantastic break.”
