“We arrived at our accommodation that was unfortunately unsuitable. I rang customer services late Friday evening looking for new accommodation. I spoke to several different members of staff all who were highly efficient, helpful and most of all understanding. We were re-booked into Dunwood retreat which was absolutely perfect for us. Thank you so much for your help and thoughtfulness!”

“Holiday cottages did not make us happy at all. The lack of cleanliness and faults with electrical equipment, broken freezer, dirty oven, blocked showers and disgusting hot tub was nothing like what I have ever experienced. Customer service and putting in a complaint doesn’t seem worthwhile either. No one replies or gets back to you. I would not recommend!!!”

“The booking process was straightforward however I didn't receive an email asking for the final payment, just one saying that it was overdue. There was minimal contact but everything was provided and the property was adequate/ as shown at least this time. Thank you.”

“We've stayed at several cottages in various locations with holidaycottages.co.uk and haven't been disappointed yet. Our most recent stay was no different, clean and perfectly located. There was a small issue with the details stating that there was a small enclosed garden, when in fact the house didn't have any outside space at all. Holidaycottages.co.uk notified us of the error in their listing before our break and offered a discount for the inconvenience (we have a dog, so it just made the before bed toilet break a little more effort) which we accepted, and in fact it wasn't really too much of an issue. The houses have always been clean and well appointed, in good locations. I think if you take the time to do your research properly and check reviews from previous guests, you should find yourself in a great property for your needs and the perfect break. We won't hesitate to use holidaycottages.co.uk again, and often recommend them to friends and family.”

“The barn conversion at The East Linhay - Leigh Town is a veritable work of art, and we appreciated the warm and attentive hospitality from our unobtrusively charming hosts, - not least, the delightful dogs. A stay to remember.”

“It was an excellent holiday. The cottage was really good and user friendly. Our son in law was not too confident about the narrow lanes, but we coped as we live in south Devon and are used to them ! John, the owner was very helpful. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. A good choice for all”

“Cottage dated and not dog friendly . directions were useless, had to go into a pub to find out where the cottage was. Decking rotten and dangerous and access to drive dangerous also. Poorly equipped, with chipped bowls and no shelving in fridge. Will not go to this place again.”
