I ordered a hedge trimmer from homebase 2 months never to receive the item ,contacted you for weeks to be told you would phone me back to resolve the issue.Never got any help whatsoever no one ever got back to me and was charged for the item .I have now had to contact my credit card to resolve the problem.Worst company I’ve ever dealt with,I will be posting on social media to warn people not to buy from a company that you don’t receive your goods from .

Was in Glenrothes Fife they were very helpful and friendly helpful and polite required to load bulky items in my van Angela and Tony could not do enough for us thank yous will have no hesitation to return to that store

ordered garden furniture £1300 worth. paid extra for named delivery date. day arrives I thought il ring customer services to see what time its coming. was informed its not coming its out of stock could take one or two months!!!! was told he would get manager to call me which never happened.Next day I get a message from Homebase apologising and confirming my order would arrive by the end of the week. got message from courier confirming date and time for delivery and I did receive my order which im very happy with. Homebase really need to sort out the customer service call centre as they seem clueless

This is a pretty good program if you go with the paid package. The biggest/most frustrating aspect of this program for me is the wait time for customer service. Thankfully I don't have to contact them often. However, today, I did and again waited for an extended amount of time (almost 40 minutes).That is a long wait time when you are trying to run a business.

A good company, but I could never be sure if they stocked what I needed when I called. Their staff were helpful, if they were to be found!

Ordered fence paint 2 months ago and no sign of it and the have made it so you can't phone them. They was quick enough to take the money but no goods this is bordering on theft.

I ordered delivery( 4 weeks ago if not more now) online..still waiting..but what really gets me is it didn't say anything bout being able to click and collect in my local store,it just said store closed..so I could of got my paint and finished the job by now ...

Phoned up yesterday about a certain paint spoke to a very abrupt man who said they don’t do it no help no nothing went in today seen a young girl asked about the paint no problem she said left store 5 mins later WITH THE PAINT staff training wouldn’t come amiss or this might be the next one to close

Visited Homebase J1 Antrim today 23.10.2019 Was served by an assistant named Sam B This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had in purchasing. Sam was so helpful. He couldn't do enough to help. He saw the sale through from advice to check out to putting the bulky items In the car. Such a rare experience these days. He was busy when we approached him but he stopped and gave us 100 per cent attention. A real gem and such a pleasant experience. Thank you Sam B.

Homebase is a weird shop. Some of their stuff - like bags of screws - is outrageously expensive but other stuff is fairly good value for money. In general, there is a bit of chaos, prices missing, items out of stock. Feels a bit like the place doesn't really know what it's doing.

On the many occasions that I visit Homebase, it's more difficult to locate a member of staff than it is to find the item I need help locating!!

Just visited the Newton Abbot branch and a tad disappointed. Tried to find some plinth clips for the kitchen units and told by reception to go to the kitchen department where they would not have them in stock but would be able to order them. On the way I stopped to look at the kitchen taps and decided to buy the Zenith at £97. I went round and round but was unable to find anybody to serve me, I then called down to the ground floor and asked if there was anybody about to help on kitchens. A young lady, Katie, arrived and was very pleasant and helpful with information about the tap but was unable to find one so said she would order it for me. I also asked her about the plinth clips but she was unable to find them either on the computer or in the books, also the tap would not arrive till July 3rd! At this point I gave up and said to leave it and I would look elsewhere.

Bought a shower tray and cubicle and tiles from Homebase Waltham Cross. Staff were excellent. I am a qualified plumber and when placing one of the glass panels on the tray it shattered into a thousand pieces. I phoned up the store and explained ,they put me through to distribution depot who then put me back to store, who then put me through to D.D who then put me back to store. To get my shower done I offered to pay for one panel but they said I would have to buy a whole new shower. They gave me the manufactures details who said the same , I would have to buy the whole thing. Which I found unbelievable. In the end I got so fed up being messed around and got thepanel made up exactly the same as original one for £70. So why couldn't' anyone been a bit more helpful as it wasn't my fault. I suppose I could have persude this further but I wanted a shower. By the way, although I got nowhere.,the staff were always polite and friendly . I hope someone from Homebase reads these reviews and think how they can improve, because they are a good store
