Looking for a replacement shower head Brian was very helpful and answered all my questions regarding suitability. Helps that someone like Brian is on hand.

I ordered a sofa online and was given a delivery date , it arrived that day, 9am . Delivered by 2 pleasant nice chaps who helpfully placed it in my lounge. Nice sofa too ! 1 star off for two reasons. 1, the delivery guys only get 2 minutes for a doorstep delivery, I'd rang homebase as I'm disabled and couldn't get it in by myself , they had no knowledge of this but helped anyway , great guys! 2, I could barely understand the call centre chap !

Ordered twice since the end of March, first time I ordered I was told 3 week's for delivery. I emailed after 3 and a half week's querying where my order was, no reply to email but order came a few day's later. I ordered again from them as the item's I wanted were out of stock everywhere else, was told online would be 3 week's for delivery, received my order after 3 or 4 day's! Didn't receive an email or update, but I'm very happy to receive my order so quickly.

Do not use Homebase . They are trading fraudulently ,ordered tiles ,grout and adhesive ,garden compost on the 4th April promised 5 day Delivery , I have had numerous updates with various excuses. To date still awaiting part of my order 3 weeks later!!! It is impossible to ring or email as you will not receive a reply. They are quick to take your money and are totally out of their depth Amazon have absolutely nothing to worry about. Trading standards need to look into Homebase practices. Do not use you have been warned!

Went to Folkestone Branch ordered a Kitchen served by Reece very helpful. Delivery on day arranged all complete and undamaged. Changed our mind about splashback store refunded with no hassle Would recommend Folkestone Homebase.

Visited seven oaks way Orpington store today and was helped by a very Helpful guy by the name of Paul. Generally the staff at this store are always willing to help and if they can't, they find someone who can.

My wife and I popped into Homebase in Streatham vale yesterday to look at garden furniture, and we were both very pleased with the attention from the sales team , in particular Gill, she understood the product and availability and certainly made our mind up regarding what to buy. Just have to find the money to pay for it now.

I’ve recently bought the Alexandra rattan corner sofa. Assembly was no problem. However the bar that goes under the corner section is too small and keeps becoming dislodged every time someone sits on it!

Has always been the place where i can buy what i need and buy what i had not known i needed...great choices in different departments staff have always been so helpful....until today...I went to the cashier with a full trolley plus a wallpaper that was expensive but had been reduced, was told i could not buy it, was told this by a male not having the courtesy of looking nor acknowledging me, no smile, when i asked to see the manager he said he was not in, i then saw the manager who i recognised as the really helpful man who had helped me a few months ago when i believed my purse had been stolen but learnt it had been handed in...When the cashier realisedi recognised the manager his wholedemeanor changed, he had put the wallpaper away but took it out when he saw i was going to askthe manager for an explanation...A great result for me as the paper was sold to me at a reduced rate yet still the rude cashier checked my items in with never a please nor thank you....such a lack of manners and blatant ignorance shows he has not been introduced to coping with customers who go to shops to spend money, they are not doing us a favour, if he does not like the job nor customers then go somewhere where rudeness is accepted....very disappointed, not like usual kind helpful and friendly staff...oh well, will so miss homebase

Went to Homebase for some items for my carpenter who was fitting my bathroom floor. The store is in the process of changing over to new owners and is now more like a warehouse. I had to ask for advice and a very helpful lady took me to find all the things I required. Happy with my purchases.

Staff are happy and upbeat and nothing is a problem and a pleasure to visit. I have just one comment relating to changes to my local and that is, I cannot purchase online and collect locally. Whereas previously I could click and collect, I would now have to pay for a delivery to my home, which is less convenient and additional costs. Having said that, if you have time to visit the local, there are good deals available.

We needed kitchen worktops and various other bits to re vamp our kitchen and bathroom . Saw Homebase Lincoln was having a clearance and made the 60 mile round trip to see what they had on offer . Spotted some oak worktops and got Luke, a customer assistant, to help pick 4 matching ones. Then a bathroom Tallboy but didn't have one in white but Martyn arranged to have one sent from another store and added to our delivery.......When we got home found we were short on the worktops phoned them up and asked if another top could be put on the order and asked if Luke could find another that matched the rest.. no problem.....The problem came to pay for the extra top ...no phone payments taken and we couldn't get in to Lincoln before delivery on the Friday.....spoke to David (I think) over the phone and explained our predickament ....The problem was solved and everything arrived on the Friday .....Every one who we had contact with at the Lincoln store was polite and more than helpful. great bunch of Guy's.
