Don't buy anything from the home depot especially online, they will instantly debit your credit then when you receive the item and find out that it was someone else's return and sent it back. They will take up to 2-3 weeks before you see your refund!!! Not worth it 👎👎👎

Hauslane garbage purchased from home depot and delivered ups. A 53 lbs. appliance (range hood) was sent via ups and left outside from me to drag into the house. After much difficulty removing the appliance from the box, I discovered that one side of the appliance was caved in. Had to inspect for damage and report in 48 hours or no return. Contacted home depot on line ordering operator (the people that are responsible since I ordered from them) and was told that I should rebox the 53lb appliance and leave it outside all day every day until it is picked up by ups. Went to the local home depot and they refused to handle it. I called back to the on line home depot operator and was told that if I am unable to repackage the 53 lbs. appliance by myself, all that is needed is the original packaging and my driving the appliance to the local ups store. With much difficulty I did just that. Ups refused to except it unpackaged even when I explained that I am unable to repackage it. The ups representative was willing to help me but stated that I should start first. What if I am physically unable to fit the Styrofoam forms with one hand while balancing the appliance with the other and then lifting all of it into a narrow, tightly fitting box. We are not talking about a keyboard or a cell phone. The inconsiderate representatives of ups, home depot and hauslane not only delivered a damaged product, they left the heavy, bulky item outside and refuse to send a pick up crew to collect an appliance, as is the norm for other retailers. Ups, home depot and hauslane can’t be bothered to consider that they are not always shipping their appliances to gorillas. Avoid ups, home depot and hauslane if you can. I recently delt with Samsung and the delivery service was what you would and should expect for an delivery of an appliance or any large heavy bulky item. I am still unable to repackage the item and return it.

“Before a customer either accepts delivery or takes an order home from the store, major appliance products (including refrigeration appliances, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers and some microwaves) should be inspected for defects or damage.” ⭐️How were we to know about shock damage on a washer we have never used before? We had never owned a computerized washing machine, how would we have known it was damaged? Given only 2 days👇🏽? To figure out if it works properly? 2 days? 48 HOURS * All Major Appliances (Refrigeration Appliances, Washers, Dryers, Ranges, Dishwashers and some Microwaves) ⭐️What kind of backwards-thinking policy is that? How do you fathom that 2 days enough time to figure out if a major appliance is working as it should? So ask yourself- is it right to ask your employees to blindly follow a policy that serves no one but Home Depot? You sit in your corporate office while all of your minions on the ground execute your dirty business. Brian, Gino, Dustin, Armando These are the employees at the Odessa TX (79761) location that treated me with total disregard. I honestly don’t know how Home Depot has remained in business for as little as it has- There has never ever been a time in the many years I have gone into a Home Depot store whether in Odessa, Dallas or Portland Oregon-that any employee has ever been helpful- WHAT do you pay them for? To babysit the store for contractors to come in and get what they need? Contractors do not need the help of a Home Depot worker and they are the only ones Home Depot serves. You should only advertise to contractors and stop trying to be a store to “everyone”- You don’t know how to serve most people that come into your store- You sold us a broken washing machine and because we didn’t realize it until well after the “48 hour” return period, there was nothing we could do and on top of that your employees were not equipped to deal with an upset customer- they had no clue how to deescalate the situation, in fact, leaving me on hold and never returning to the call- then they call me back and repeat a corporate script- may as well have been speaking to a wall. So when I ask over the phone for management names- they refuse to give it to me. I had to drive out to the store in the rain to go inside and get the names of management on duty. When I spoke with “Brian”- he was wearing a tag and I flipped it around to see if his name was on the other side and he threatened to file an “assault” charge for touching his tag but still his name WAS NOT VISIBLE- his name was not on the tag- he told me his name was “Brian”. This is how the Odessa employees treat customers- threats and total disregard. Seriously, what is your business secrets? How do you remain in business with such horrible service? I want to know the secret of your success. We have learned our lesson. Never EVER purchase another appliance from Home Depot. They will send you to the manufacturer and the manufacturer will send you right back to Home Depot and it will go in circles forever until you finally give up.

The Home Depot sales person made two mistakes out of four possible things to put on the contract. THD will only fix their mistakes if you pay them. The process from saleswoman to project manager to contractor is disjointed at best. They will ghost you if you try to call them after payment. Go to Lowes!! Better, more knowledgeable professionals. The work is done perfectly and accurately.

Ordered over $2,000 in refrigerator, microwave, stove, plug and braided hose. Waited 2 weeks for delivery date and on delivery day the delivers damaged the refrigerator because they unboxed it outside on the truck and tried to repeatedly ram it through the door. I was checking it to see if I could accept the damage and the delivery guy kept pressuring me if I was going to take it or not --- I refused it. In the meantime they had taken my old refrigerator down 2 flights of steps to their truck before attempting to bring up the new one which means I had emptied it all into ice chest and containers once I got the 2 hour delivery window notification so they had to bring the old refrigerator back upstairs and take the damaged one. They set a delivery date about 2 weeks later and they showed up before 8 am and I had no idea they would try to deliver that early and had worked till 3 am so I missed the delivery. I called them 15 minutes after 8 am and they said that they could not come back and that they had to take it back to the warehouse and I would have to call for another delivery date. I called and they told me that I could not call that day but had to wait to call the next day once the item was checked back into the warehouse. I called the next day early and the soonest they could redeliver was about 2 weeks out so I asked for a deliver time and they said that they could only say between 7 am and 7 pm and could not set a delivery time or not even morning or afternoon slot. Deplorable! I asked the person on the phone who the delivery service was and she asked why so I said that they were terrible. I was invited to take a survey after the call and I was ready to share my frustrations with them but after my call the phone hung up with no survey. So the refrigerator will take over all about 6 weeks to be delivered assuming the next delivery slot isn't messed up. This is terrible and all of these negative true review should give anyone pause to consider using Home Depot delivery services. The instore visit was good because of one very good salesperson but beyond that everything has been deplorable in terms of delivery.

I contacted the Home Depot to replace my security door. I had to pay $40 upfront for someone to come out and measure my door. Someone from the HP did come to my home but they never measured my door. A week later, I got an email from HP that they could not do the job. I'm out $40. This is a nice scam they have going on.

Purchased a new washing machine was promised delivery on the 9th. Day of delivery was told they couldnt deliver it until the 19th. When we called to complain they promised to get the delivery on the 12th. Well on the 11th we get a email saying sorry not going to be there tomorrow and we now have to wait 72hr to get an update on when they can actually deliver it. Needless to say we are cancelling this purchase and going to Lowe’s. Very unprofessional service.

HORRIBLE... they do not care about customers, ask if there is ANY way to expedite an order that is taking 2 weeks, when I bought it it says 3-4 days, it is going to be 13 days !!!!!! and Customer Service HANG UP on me twice, I haven't been disrespectful, just ask if there is anything can be done to pick it up on the 16th instead of the 18th

I wish to God I travel l read reviews before ordering. I’m having a nightmare of a time literally at this very moment…been on the phone with them for almost an hour trying to get them to re-deliver my range, but no luck. So far, I’ve been turned down 3 or 4 times dating the delivery driver won’t come back today. I took off of work for this, and they came way too early…not the time they said by text, and email. It’s not right that I won’t have anything to cook on for the holidays bc they f***** up. I will not hands another day off….can’t take another day off and told them this is my only shot. I am DEFINITELY going to take them to smalls claim court bc this is so very wrong in so many levels!!!! I was just denied again, so that’s that. Those incompetent POS delivery drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a very bad experience with Delivery of my new appliances. It's a long story, but the moral is if you want your appliances delived and installed do not purchase them from home depot. They use a 3rd party delivery service and the third party will not install the appliances or remove the door from the fridge to fit it through your door. Definitely use Best Buy. Their delivery and installation team will actually install your appliances. Best Buy hired all of the old Sears appliance employees. The Geek squad is very professional. The home depot third party delivery guys use an enterprise rental truck and they look like 20 year old kids. They are very unprofessional.

I had a very disappointing experience with a subcontractor hired through Home Depot for installation services. From the outset, there were issues, as one of the workers criticized his colleague for forgetting tools. Their task was to install a pre-built cabinet, toolbox, and ceiling storage rack in my garage. The installation of the cabinets took an excessively long four hours and was done so poorly that the cabinets are now unusable due to the use of incorrect tools. Additionally, the walls were significantly roughed up during their failed attempts to locate wall studs. The situation worsened when they incorrectly began mounting the ceiling rack, only to abandon the job halfway and leave without completing it. They assured me they would call back to resolve the issue, but it seemed their upcoming holiday break was their primary focus rather than my installation. It's been three weeks, and my garage remains in disarray as I await a resolution from Home Depot. This experience has led me to conclude that hiring a Home Depot subcontractor for any home installation is a risk not worth taking, as they demonstrated an inability to competently handle even basic tasks. Adding to my frustration, the new contractor, who was supposed to come and assess the situation, rescheduled at the last minute, further prolonging the resolution of this issue.

May of 2020, I purchased a wonderful rider mower. Dec 1st it started smoking. Should have been no problem as I purchased a three yr extended warranty. I called Home Depot and they referred me to a company which is supposed to pick it up and repair . But, they gave me the phone number and said that I need phone - which I did . After 3 days of waiting ( without a return call) , I called again. I was told that I need to wait for THEM to call me. Today it has been one weekl. I called Home Depot. The lady said ‘ no worries’ they will call you when they are ready to pick the mower up - ok ? I said ( very softly and kind) ‘ Not ok’ I need someone to help me now - as I paid for the extended warranty. SHE HUNG UP on me. Wow, what kind of customer service is this ? After paying almost $300. For extended warranty , this is no way to be treated .

Do not purchase appliances from Home Depot! I purchased appliances in July and from that point on it was a horrible experience that lasted through December 1st. In total I spent 6-7 hours on the phone trying to get resolution. I had long wait times, employees hanging up after they did not know how to solve the problem. I purchased a washer with a pedestal. The washer was defective and Home Depot sent another out but would not use the brand new pedestal that was delivered 2 days earlier but would not send an new one either. Again hours on the phone. Then I had the wrong color washer delivered. White glove service was worse then the driver taking the machine out of the box. Many more details but the resolution team granted me a credit of $368. dollars that I was told was being processed to my card. Over two months later I hadn't received the credit. I called and a very nasty representative, Lauren, told me she put the credit through today. I asked to speak with a Manager on the executive team and she would not allow me to but said she'd send my complaint up their chain. The appliances I couldn't get from Home Depot because they were out of stock I bought from Costco. A pleasure to deal with and an extra year warranty. I see a pattern of horrible service from Home Depot in these reviews. Believe people and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
