Beverage frig came with a large dent in the side of the frig, was obvious with dent in the outer box. The pickup for return never showed up the next day. I called again and the agent told me the UPS pickup slip was never created properly. We waited home all day with the box on the front porch, never showed up. Now I’m waiting again tomorrow and it’s another 3-5 days for my refund because they need the merchandise inspected first. What a nightmare, never again nd canceling my Homedepot credit card. Poor service.

I will never do business with Home Depot again. Bought a washer and dryer was supposed to be delivered on Saturday figured I would check status online as I heard nothing. It was delayed until Tuesday called was told truck came in late, asked why I got no notification email text etc..: so I agreed to let them deliver on Tuesday. Tuesday came no communication the online port showed delivery for today but it was like it wasn’t out for delivery so I call again and am told our address didn’t come up so it wasn’t being delivered today l. I asked why there was no communication to me again no answer as to why. But they offered to deliver it a week later I declined and asked if I could pick it up and they said that wasn’t an option so I canceled my order. Never will spend another dollar with Home Depot ever again for anything. The customer service was terrible and the process they operate by is unbelievably bad. But your appliances from Best Buy Lowe’s Conns anywhere but Home Depot you will be thankful you did.

had to come in 4 times to get them to deliver my door after having the delivery fall through 3 times. my far the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I ordered a refrigerator to be delivered, but it has been sitting in a warehouse for 5 days past the originally scheduled date. Apparently, getting products to the customer isn’t part of the deal. Will never order from them again.

My husband and I purchased a refrigerator in July. Our delivery date was set for Aug 16th. When we got home, my husband noticed that the delivery address was not correct, we got back in our car and went back to the store, to the customer service desk and they said they corrected it. Well, they did not, we are without a refrigerator, and it was supposed to be delivered today. We are being told is won't be delivered until next week at the earliest. We are Senior's and My husband is no well. A suggestion was that we go buy a drome frig in the meantime at home depo. Really, I need to pay more money to their mess up. No one called to confirm the our address before delivery. We found 20 mins before the delivery. They can't deliver because of protocol, which I get, but why can't they pick up the phone to get this corrected. The customer service person by the name of "Phil" Tried to fix it, but I asked to speak to his supervisor and never did. Worst customer service. Considering cancelling my order and going to Lowes and see if they can do better. Very unhappy. Always to to home depo, Moving to Lowes

We ordered a number of appliances online through Home Depot. They delivered most of them, but the washer dryer got delayed. They scheduled a new delivery date/confirmation, but as the new date got closer we did not get any information about the delivery window. We decided to call, and found out that they did not reschedule our delivery. They told us we needed to cancel the order and re-submit to actually get our appliances. They told us they would refund us via gift card and then we could call to re-order and still get the same prices/deals we originally got. Today, a week later, we found that they refunded us to our credit card despite us specifically requesting a gift card and they will not be able to honor the pricing because "the vendor doesn't allow that." I will NEVER be purchasing anything beyond plants and potting soil from Home Depot ever again. Very disappointed, and do not recommend purchasing anything of value from this store.

I found it impossible to find out my window for an appliance delivery without calling my local store, in spite of multiple assurances that I would get a robocall with that information. Then when my refrigerator was delivered they wouldn't switch the doors to open on the other side; the guy who brought it in kept saying that wasn't recommended. I called Home Depot's warranty people to see whether having someone else switched the doors those would still be under warranty; they said no, but that would be covered by the manufacturer's warranty and transferred me to them. Those people said they only covered manufacturing defects and Home Depot had to do it. So I called the local office where I paid for it and thought I had gotten it set up to be switched three days later, and was again promised a robocall. No such luck, and the same person who helped me before called them again and gave me another four-hour window, this time with the caveat that they might not make it. It's in the upper 90s here and I live in a west-facing apartment without AC that turns into an oven in the summer. I won't be able to open windows until around 8-8:30 tonight if then. If I don't get it taken care of tomorrow I have no idea how many more times I'll be stuck here sweating, looking like I've been in the rain. I'm in my 70s so being stuck in high heat is not healthy. If I had had any idea that I was going to go through all this and still not know when or if it's going to be taken care of I would have spent another $111 plus tax at Lowe's, had it delivered locally in two days instead of over three weeks, and gotten the doors switched during delivery. Needless to say I won't be buying another appliance from Home Depot.

We were making an addition to our house and decided to go with Home Depot for our heating and cooling units. We went ahead and bought a GREE mini split system from Home Depot and had it installed. A week later we were already having problems. We kept calling companies to come out and quickly learned we had a gas leak. So we began calling and emailing the company trying to get the issue resolved as this was a manufacturers mistake and not ours. After weeks they finally told our contractor he had to file a warranty claim. We then provided all the necessary information and both home depot and GREE ignored our communication. We finally settled on buying a new unit to replace the main part of the system and have it replace the old one. Which means we had to bring out a crew and pay a lot of other expenses. Now we are trying to get through to the companies still seeking a little compensation for all the trouble and they continue to ignore all our emails and calls. A horrible experience go shop at Lowe’s and don’t order GREE products

On July 6, 2023, I purchased a GE refrigerator on line the Home Depot website. The site stated it was available and even set a delivery date of 7/11/23. My card was even charged. On 7/10/23, I received notification that the item was not available and a new delivery date was set, August 3rd. I call their Customer Care and the female rep stated that the date had been changed. I advised this was unacceptable, that if it wasnt available, I wouldnt have ordered it. She placed me on hold and after over 5 min, she came on and stated that the refrigerator could be delievered on 7/17/23. I accepted this. Three hours later, I received another message that it could not be delivered on 7/13/23 and the new delivery date was 8/3/23. I called again and a male rep stated that it was infact 8/3/23 and that the previous rep, should not have promised the 7/17/23 date, I expressed my unhappiness and he stated what do you want me to do about it. Do you just want to cancel the order. I stated, No. I want my refrigerator. He stated then it is Aug 3. On Aug 2, I again received notification that the refrigerator would not be delivered until 8/9/23, which thankfully it was. This was over one month on an item they showed as available. Plus all the problems with the customer service and promises. I dont believe I will ever buy another appliance through Home Depot. Their competitor had it, I found out later, and they stated they could get it out the next day. Very disappointed in Home Depot and it seems they dont care. Find an item at another place if you can

I am disabled. I ordered bags of softener salt to be delivered to my home. Home Depot driver did not call or knock on my door to let me know of the delivery. Instead, they dumped it at the foot of my driveway by the street and drove off.

I placed an order on July 20th of this year and the item was to be delivered on July 31st. The item wasn't delivered, I got an email from Home Depot saying that delivery would be delayed. I checked on their website and found the item is now out of stock. I found the item (same name brand and same size) at a store 54 miles away. I contacted home depot to find out what is going on with my order, and told them I found a similar item at a store 54 miles away and I would go and pick it up. They would not give me that item for the price of the online order.

Had an absolutely horrible experience with Home Depot delivery for a washer and dryer. They show up and they delivery team has an absolutely awful attitude telling us our machines won't fit (when they clearly would) and that we needed to buy all these different parts to hook up the machines because the ones they had(and ones I already paid for) aren't sufficient apparently. Next, they inform me that they dropped the dryer door and it broke. Great, so we have them take the machines and re-schedule them for an entire week later. Fast forward a week to the new delivery date and they don't deliver the washer and it is nowhere to be found despite calling to confirm the delivery with them multiple times. We are now going on a week and a half of no washer and dryer because of their incompetence. I will never ever ever use Home Depot for major appliances ever again.

Where do I start in the beginning we were promised on our remodel in our bath that all fixtures vanities etc etc would be here in 3 to 4 days it's now almost a week week and a half they still don't know where my bathtub is the guy said oh your vanities were delivered I said no they weren't delivered oh well I'll have to check in on that I've talked to probably 9 or 10 different people nobody knows what they're doing I'd suggest if you have to deal with any company don't ever deal with home Depot I'm 64 years old and never had a worse experience in my whole life I don't know if we're ever going to get this straightened out go to Menards or go to Lowe's you'll be a lot happier

Bought several appliances and was charged that day. On delivery day, truck never showed. Customer service reply is that they can’t reach driver because the warehouse can’t be reached. We’re told they can’t do anything!!! This is bad business.

A kitchen nightmare. cabinets sitting in my dining room for five weeks that I can't get installed even though I paid the full installation fee in April!!!! No calls back. Complete incompetence on the installation team. They rip out your kitchen and then say they will be back a week later. Absolutely horrible customer service. Once they get your money they just don't care. What a disappointment I would never ever use them again!

Bought a riding lawn mower with free delivery and was told it would be delivered following Monday. Monday comes no mower called and was told I would have it 7-3-23 a Monday. Still no mower, canceled order, ordered one from Lowes and sitting in my garage 7-6-23. Lowes will get my business from now on

I am so furious with Home Depot that I will NEVER shop there again!! I had a Home Depot Credit Card. I didn't use it often, but when I did I paid it off on full each month. One day I received a letter from Hone Depot telling me they canceled me credit card. Can only figure out its because they were not making any additional money from me. Horrible company. Good thing I have Lowes just down the street from me! I'm done with this company for good.

On Jun 17, 2003, I placed an online order for a refrigerator through the Home Depot website, eagerly anticipating its delivery by Temco Logistics. Unfortunately, the first delivery attempt turned out to be an utter failure. When the delivery person arrived at my apartment, they glanced inside and abruptly left, stating that they would return shortly. Regrettably, the delivery person never returned, leaving me and my family bewildered and without any explanation. Concerned about this incident, I immediately contacted Home Depot's customer service, seeking assistance and clarification. I was assured by your representative that the subsequent delivery would be handled by a more experienced team to avoid any further issues. However, to my dismay, the second delivery attempt was also a complete failure. The delivery personnel failed to show up at the scheduled time, despite the online system indicating that they had missed us. Throughout this ordeal, I tried contacting Home Depot's and Temco Logistics customer service multiple times to seek clarification, express my frustration, and request a resolution to this matter. However, the level of responsiveness and assistance I received from your customer service department was alarmingly lacking. The lack of concern and support further aggravated my disappointment and dissatisfaction with Home Depot's services. The consequences of these delivery failures were not insignificant. As we had cleared out our previous refrigerator in preparation for the new one, we were left without a functioning appliance for an extended period. The perishable food items we had stored spoiled, leading to a significant financial loss and inconvenience for my family.

Horrible! Delivered wrong carpet after we went to Home Depot and spent an hour going over the room we wanted done and making payment in full. We had previously paid for our entire house to be measured and quoted for carpet and gave specific instruction which room we wanted done. The delivery was scheduled, and we had taken the day off and broke down room and moved everything out and they showed up with carpet for a different room. They did not compensate us whatsoever, in fact, said they measured wrong and wanted to up charge us. We have company coming next week and wanted the house to look nice and lost a day's pay and hours wasted on taking everything out of the room and putting it back. We cancelled the entire order and we will be taking our business elsewhere, carpet and other home projects we were about to do. Thanks for the wasted time and money. Do better Home Depot!
