I live in Lincoln MT, Home Depot did a cabinet delivery through NSD out of Bozeman, had a missing cabinet, their delivery guy acknowledged it, but now they are saying I received my total order and will not research or refund. I order another one, suppose to be delivered on Friday, between 7 am and 11 am...we wait around until 4 pm and then had to leave and didn't return home until today, 3/28/2022. I got notification that they dropped it off Friday at a 8:30 pm. When we get home they dropped it off on our driveway, and we have a covered porch. If it had rained or snowed over the weekend it would be ruined.

Customer service at the Preston hwy store in Louisville KY is a joke. There are several other home depots in our city. I strongly suggest using a different store.

I am very disturbed and disappointed that there is a Home Depot employee worksheet out there called "Unpacking Privilege". I have been shopping at the Fairfax, VA Home Depot for years. I will be cancelling my Home Depot Credit Card, and I will no longer be shopping at Home Depot. See you soon Lowe's.

I went to the home Depot today and purchased lawn products. Went to check out and showed my ID that clearly states veteran on it front and back. The cashier continues to tell me that I do not qualify because it is not one of the accepted IDs with their changed policy. I served 7 years the United States Air Force in multiple conflicts. And have never been told that my idea was accepted. I will never step foot back in a home Depot for lack of their patriotism. And I will tell every person that I know on how they treat the veterans that have served this country proudly.

I will never buy another high dollar item from them again, especially online. I purchased a Treager Smoker for my husband for his birthday. The estimated delivery was on his birthday, March 16, and as things happen, it wasn't delivered. I checked with the delivery company that Home Depot uses, they had no records of the item. Called Home Depot they told me the shipping company did in fact have it, but that Home Depot forgot to send the ticket and that it would be delivered on the 18th. For the heck of it, I called the delivery company the morning of the 18th, still no record of it. So Monday, the 21st, I asked Home Depot to cancel it. They said they would, but it would take 72 hours to confirm it because now their records show it was supposed to be delivered on the 22nd... needless to say it STILL DIDN'T COME. Called Wednesday, they tell me it is supposed to be there on Thursday... I told them I would call my CC company and dispute the charges, but I was trying to give HD a chance to redeem themselves. They gave me a song and a dance about canceling it, and "when" it shows up Thursday to refuse the shipment, but "claim" the return is in process. (which is what they told me Monday, and clearly wasn't canceled) Although the Customer Service Representatives were nice, the outfit as a whole, is very lacking. I feel they just gave me the run around and were trying to buy time for their mistakes, but I will go to my local small business before I use this big box store again.......

I wish I could give less than one star. I purchased an electric fireplace unit on January 30 (2022) with the extended warranty. The unit arrived outside the noted delivery time; once received, the top mantle of the unit was damaged on the end. I immediately contacted Home Depot for a replacement part (my husband and I had begun building the unit and were almost done until we saw the damage. The top portion of the mantle was the last piece to attach). I was referred to the manufacturer (Twin Peaks) who took my claim, assigned a case number, and assure me they would replace the unit, and they never did. This went on for weeks; most of the time no response or I was given the same message. After a little over a month, finally asked for a refund since I wasn’t being supported and there was no initiative to replace the broken piece. I was told I would have to purchase bubble wrap to prepare the unit for pick up OR breakdown the unit and prep for shipping. Then told I would be granted a refund, AFTER the unit is picked up. Call was escalated, still no resolution. I recommend not purchasing anything from Twin Peaks and I will not be purchasing from Home Depot moving froward. Home Depot, your ability to service the customer is nonexistent. I’m terribly frustrated.

I hope someone in the corporate office reads this review I was hired at the Homedepot on battlefield blvd on December 16 recieved an email from homedepot that my back ground check should be complete by 3 3 2022 I went to the store and talked to the same person who hired me said she would check into it never called.me back then called the HR department corporate office and she just made all kinds of excuses as to the problem did not want to do anything. Do not apply to homedepot for employment they just jerk people around and people want to work it's problem like this is why they do not have people to work. Mitchell Dunlow

Went in to buy a microwave. Did not have in stock, sales lady said they could ship to my house for 50 some odd dollars. I said no let me buy it and when it comes in I will p/u I work 3 blocks away. We did transaction got receipt and it looked a little high. Checked it she charged for shipping. I said I am picking up in store, she told me I had to pay to ship it to the store(by the way I would have to wait a month to get it) Well the Lake Manawa homedepot can keep their microwave and I went to Amazon got same one 50.00 cheaper and will have in 4 days. Good luck home depot you will be giving away microwaves for free before I step into that store again

I presented the original receipt and item to customer service. The inexperienced & arrogant rep. said, "It's NOT on the receipt OR the Credit Card". (She NEVER even read the receipt or UPC code on item to be returned. Only scanned bar code on receipt.) She attempted to dismiss return transaction entirely. I confronted her and pointed out the item IS on receipt and product codes DO match. And ONLY then I received a refund. There are some good customer service reps and some that need to be AVOIDED and REMOVED completely. Beware who your dealing with and always have your original receipt or you may be dismissed and NOT get your refund on the Credit Card. And don't let them issue you a "STORE CREDIT". You eventually will be BANNED from a returning item w/out a receipt. What a way to start off the day. POOR! In addition, she didn't want give me back my original receipt. WOW!

The worst place to shop. Zero customer service bad attitude shitty management. Everyone I deal with and Homedepot she’s like they’re just there since they cannot find another job. Much rather deal with those much better personalities.

We purchased a washing machine to be delivered Sat. The only reason O chose that particular machine was the delivery date. Saturday morning we had not received a call for the delivery window. I pulled our order up on line to discover an issue with our order. I called to be spoken to down to and hung up on twice. I still have no washing machine and no information as to if or when we may see it.

We ordered all new appliances expecting an installation that we paid for. Called and was told to call again in the morning to discuss with the delivery team. I’m aggravated that we are doing the installation ourselves. Do not understand how we can pay for services and extra parts. I do not blame the delivery team because they are just following the orders on their invoice. Just super irritated and disappointed in the lack of follow through with customer service.

I ordered 8 drawer pulls. 7 arrived. I called to have the remaining pull sent. First call disconnected. The second person had to find someone to process the missing item. I'm still on hold. So why are there customer service employees if they can't simply send an under $10 item? Meanwhile, I listen to the same recorded messages over and over and over. I'd send an email, except I can't find an address. I'm guessing they just want you to hang up.

I ordered a Patio Door online for in-store pick-up, the order took 2 months in arriving at the store, they finally got the door but not the same one I ordered, they asked me if I want to re-order and it will take 2 months more to come, so I decided no to do it, is totally unprofessional and customer satisfaction-less. Also 6 months ago I bought a windows replacement service for 6 windows, after 3 months of waiting they came to my house to install 4 windows because they missed 2 windows in the warehouse so they need to re-ordered, now I'm waiting 3 months more to get the final 2 windows left installed. Do you think this is a serious company?, no way, I will never use The Home Depot ever again.

Mr. Home Depot I just want to let you know how your customers are being treated at your store. I bought a washing machine in your Virginia store on 13 December. On the 27th they came to deliver a washing machine but it was dented and they took it back. since then it’s been downhill. Every week or so they will call to cancel the scheduled delivery date. And by the end of January they were telling me my next scheduled date would be in March. I wasn’t willing to wait that long. I requested my money back so that I could buy a different washing machine from your store. Every time I would call the customer care service center and they will inform me to go to the store, where my money would be ready and I will get there and my money would not be there. they would tell me that Mr. Samsung has not given them a certain number that they need to release my money or sometimes they would tell me that Mr. Samsung‘s computers were not working and now it’s almost the end of February and I don’t have my money and I don’t have a washing machine. February 14 customer care gave me a $350 gift card to make up for the trouble I’ve experienced. I was glad and thankful. They told me that I was going to get a phone call by Wednesday from Mr. Samsung and if Mr. Samsung didn’t call me to call them back. Wednesday came in Wednesday went. Friday I called customer care and they told me everything was set, the store was ready for me, they would give me my money. I went to the Home Depot Store this Sunday and they told me that everything is still pending I couldn’t get my money, I had to wait another 3 days or so. I then called customer care service again and they told me there was nothing they could do Mr. Samsung had not released my money. I said first of all I specifically asked- if I went to Home Depot on Sunday would I get my money and I was told yes- nobody told me that Mr. Samsung still was holding my money. Second of all, I did not get into a contract with Mr. Samsung, my contract is with you Mr. Home Depot. I bought my washing machine in good faith expecting to get the product that I paid for or to get back the money that I had given you. I told your customer care person this and she told me that I was given $350 for compensation. I told her that $350 was not license for you to continue to jerk me around, it was to compensate for all the mess that I’ve dealt with so far. I don’t know why in all this I have to be penalized for Mr. Samsung’s incompetence. I have been told a couple of times that Mr. Samsung‘s computers have not been working. I don’t care whether Mr. Samsung‘s computers work or not that should not have anything to do with me. My contract is with Mr. Home Depot. I don’t know what contract Mr. Home Depot got into with Mr. Samsung, I was not privy to that information, so I don’t understand why I should be penalized for what Mr. Samsung is doing. Especially when I wanted to get another appliance from Home Depot. I have always loved Home Depot I have always bought my appliances from Home Depot or anything else I needed but now I feel like I need to go to Mr. Lowe’s maybe he will treat me better. The service I’ve received has been poor to say the least. And to top it off I still don’t have my money and I missed the presidents day sale yesterday.

We have had a nightmare experience with the Home Depot in Rock Springs Wy. We ordered a laundry center 12/6/21 it arrived several weeks later damaged so Home Depot ordered another which would take several weeks. Meantime they sent a loaner washer and dryer. The washer worked ok but the back of the dryer as soon as it was plugged in caught fire damaging our floor and wall. No offer of help from Home depot but they sent another dryer which shocked our electrician. So finally 2-21 2022 our new laundry center was delivered and it was defective and had to be returned. Home Depot this entire time has refused to return our money but would credit our card. Frankly with the damaged products the rude employees and still no product who would want to buy another item from them.

BUYER BEWARE! If you ever purchase major appliances at Home Depot, use your Discover or Visa or another card. Because you C-A-N-N-O-T dispute a major appliance on your Home Depot card (YOU CAN'T DISPUTE A BAD PURCHASE!) (Back story) We purchased a washer and dryer at the Brenham Home Depot and were given the run around and "go talk to the manufacture" HOME DEPOT WILL NOT REPLACE THE APPLIANCES NOR GIVE ME A REFUND! BUYER BEWARE! We were moving to a new town and made our purchases at Home Depot Brenham Back story we are moving that week and The washer arrived (new out of the box) with the back side crushed the RUDE DRIVER demands that I "accept the order" and I refused. I spoke to Home Depot dispatch and in only 2.5 more weeks they promised me a new washer. I KEPT THE DRYER AND ACCEPTED THE DRYER *** MY MISTAKE *** THE DRYER IS ALSO DEFECTIVE The washer finally arrives and then we get that installed, its time to hook up the dryer, I FIND THAT THE DRYER IS DEFECTIVE HAS A BAD HEATING ELIMENT- Home depot tells me that we cant return it or get a refund its "older that 48 hours and there is nothing they can do" I am not able to dispute the charge but am sent to GE to work on arrangements to get the NEW appliance fixed! The whole company Home Depot is on the decline with people shifting the blame on others and not doing their JOBS REMEMBER DO NOT MAKE MAJOR APPLIANCES PURCHASES ON YOUR HOME DEPOT CARD YOU WILL GET THE "RUN AROUND" TO HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE MANUFACTURE TO DO SOMETHING Finally the store manager Arron gave me a small "instore rebate" as I called the customer services and told them that I was on my way to put 6 loads of WET LAUNDRY ON THE COUNTER AT HOME DEPOT AND TELL THE OTHER CUSTOMERS WHAT HAPPENED - (SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED - THIS IS THE "SERVICE" YOU WILL GET AFTER THE SALE OF A NEW BROKEN APPLIANCE!) #1- Home Depot scheduled me for service in Illinois (I LIVE IN TEXAS) #2 - The confirmation for service date is not in the system #3 There are no more appointments for service available until past middle of MARCH #4 100% NO ONE CARES AT HOME DEPOT AND DOES NOT DO THEIR JOB AGAIN, BEWARE AND DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT! WE ARE MOVING! AND I HAVE 6 LOADS OF WET LAUNDRY AND STUPID LAZY EXCUSES FROM THE STORE HOME DEPOT! TOO BAD THAT HOME DEPOT IS SUCH A DISGRACE- THE EMPLOYEES/DELIVERY ARE RUDE AND I GOT N-O SATISFACTION ON THE PURCHASE OF 2 NEW APPLIANCES! ONLY "EXCUSES! SIMPLY PUT : I AM OUTRAGED AND THINK THAT THEY ARE REALLY FALLING APART! LOW STANDARDS, NO CUSTOMER SERVICES, JUST EXCUSES AND NOTHING GETS DONE! I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER SHOP THERE FOR LARGE APPLIANCES AGAIN! BUYER BEWARE!

Unfortunately I have no other choice but my local HD,Loews is just to far and not any better, I have been a shopper at HD for more than 30years,it seems like a few years ago the service started to really go down, and now, there is no service other than BAD SERVICE,who "trains" these lazy teenagers, even the managers are not helpful, at my local store appropriately #666 on Rosco and balboa, the evening Mgr just stand around joking with each other and point you to an employee if you have a question, and of coarse that person has one answer" i dont know" or "were out" but you see it right behind them. And when it come to covid rules, there are NONE that any home depot follows especially this one, not only do customers not wear masks, the employees don't either, I have pictures of a bunch of them not wearing any at all or down under there chin, so I totally believe the HD now Doesn't care AT ALL about its customers one way or the other, By the way, this was observed over months of going to the store in the evening and late after noon to get my material for the next day,but mostly late eve.

SHOPPER BEWARE! WHEN SHOPPING ONLINE AT HOME DEPOT, THEY TRICK YOU WHEN YOUR SEARCHING FOR AN ITEM. THE DEFAULT SEARCH RESULTS ARE"BEST MATCH". WHEN YOU CHANGE IT TO ANOTHER ARRANGEMENT LIKE "PRICE LOW TO HIGH" SOME ITEMS WILL DROP OFF THE LIST. CHECK IT OUT AND YOU WILL SEE. BEWARE!!!!!
