I will never shop at Home Depot again. They are pathetic. I shopped at the Baseline store in Tempe. Asked for a lumber person to meet me in the baseboards aisle (27) and waited 20 minutes for them to show up. THEN, they cut to my specs and I head to check-out. They were not able to locate the SKU, so could not sell product to me. Called lumber department, and they never returned call. I wasted 990 minutes of my Sunday on these jokers. Then went to Lowe's and found what I needed and paid $24 less. Bye, HD.

made a online order for a Samsung stove and microwave on 9/13/21 and was told it would be delivered on 10 /23/21, But now they say it won’t be here until 11/30/21. I can’t be without a working stove for this long and I believe that Home Depot should make this right. What is the problem with getting my order to me on time or at least in a timely manner? I’ve been waiting on this order with a broken stove for over a month now and now you want me to wait for another month and a half! This is completely unacceptable. I need my stove for the holidays - as my family is all coming to my house (20+ guests) and I need a working stove for that!!! I had a chance to buy another stove at the same price from a different vendor, but chose to give Home Depot my business, and now the other appliances at are no longer available and I am irate, that a chose to do business with Home Depot. I’ve been reaching out to please see how can this be resolved And they’ve told me they would return phone calls which haven’t been returned from managers and employees and they’ve told me that they can’t help me with anything, Like a comparable stove they have in stock that would be the same price instead I just have to continue to wait until the 30th of November for my appliances, which I paid for back in September And they were perfectly happy to take my money and tell me that I was going to receive them on 23 October which was a complete lie. At Home Depot they do not put the customer first they put them last!

We’ve lived in the same house for nearly two decades now. On a lovely December day, we decided to switch out the original vinyl flooring for tiles. We spent a lot of time thinking about this before we came to the final decision. We found beautiful tiles at Home Depot. They were only available online. We window shopped at several stores and kept coming back to Home Depot. Eventually, we got the paperwork done there. We carefully went through all of the options that they gave to us and decided on what best suited our home. The plan was for the crew to start after the 2020 New Year. We were given a time range of a week max to finish the job. Ultimately, it took over a year and a half to finish the entire process. We moved all of the furniture, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer, and dryer out of the soon-to-be tiled area into the living room in preparation for the crew. The crew normally came late. There were times when they didn’t come at all. They worked on a small area each day. We made sure to avoid stepping on the newly worked area at all cost. We noticed some issues after the first day. The tiles were unevenly laid (the tiles were laid at different angles aka not flat and the spacing between tiles were uneven – some spaces were about 1 cm and others were 2 mm). We asked them about these things, they reassured us that the tiles will settle into place once dry. Additionally, we questioned the large gap between the tiles and the wall. They said that they would finish the edges last. Fast forward, it took about two weeks for them to finish laying down the tiles. We were extremely dissatisfied with the shoddy workmanship. After the grout dried, we could see cracks in the grout between tiles. The tiles were cracked too. The cracks were so wide that we had an ant infestation. They were so unevenly laid that when we placed a level on random tiles, they would read between 1 and 10 degrees in all different directions. I’m still not sure how they laid the tiles next to the sliding door to the deck, but after the job was done, we had trouble opening and closing it. The tiles pushed into our new carpet so there was a large bump between the carpet and tile. Lastly, they added a quarter round trim around the entire perimeter of the tiled area. We were never made aware of this addition. They argued that we should have known that this was the default method at Home Depot and should have told them before the tile installation if we didn’t want it. They refused to take responsibility for any of the issues and continued to blamed the base of our floor for the problems in their workmanship. I would have rather had our original vinyl flooring at this point. We were given the names Diana and Michael. We attempted to call and seek them out in person multiple times a week to rectify the issues. We left voicemails, notes with employees at the store, emails... We never got a response. Finally, I had success in April. Someone at the store told me that what happened was unacceptable. They would put a note into our file and someone would reach out to us in May at the latest. I confirmed that we would have the entire job replaced with a different crew before we hung up. No one ever called back. When we finally got a hold of them, they told us that the communication was “beyond store level” at this point. What I heard was I wasted months trying to contact the wrong people. This is when I started to contact American Carpet South (ACS). I had to call a New Jersey number before I could be redirected to the Harrisburg location. This would take at least half an hour each time. Whenever we asked for the direct number to the Harrisburg campus, we would be given incorrect numbers. This went on for another few months before I could get Mike to respond. He fed me empty promises. He threatened me. He lied. He scolded and yelled at me. Eventually, they played along and set up multiple visits to inspect the problem. Again, they didn’t always show up and if they did, they were late. They asked me to submit photos of the issues on their website. There were so many photos that they needed me to send them in a link. More visits were done. In the end, they refused to replace the job and only repaired a few of the issues. The same cracks returned within a few hours to days following repairs. At one point, I asked for the manager at the Harrisburg campus, Gina, to set up the visits with the crew. We had missed too many days of work for them to continue standing us up. Gina was no better than Mike. She was blatantly rude each time I spoke to her and yelled at me for being upset with their services. Mike told me to contact Kevin and the Home Depot manager, Chris Hamilton, to fix the issue. I was not given any methods to contact them. I had to call Home Depot to get Chris’s phone number. To this day, I have no idea who this Kevin is. When I called the store though, all the employees who worked the floor were kind and quickly responded to me. We had a different crew of people come look at the tiling job to tell us if repairs would be able to fix the issues. They told us that it had to be replaced because the original crew did not level the base flooring correctly. We lived without a stove, dishwasher, washer, dryer, and living room for over a year before we gave up on the idea of them replacing the tiles and returned them to where they belonged. You might ask why we didn’t put them back earlier. They were incredibly heavy for two small females to move back and forth. On another note, we could see the vinyl under the tile beneath the stove and dishwasher. The crew who laid down the tiles refused to lay tile there and assured us that we would not be able to see it once the appliances were returned. Chris was at least more responsive to us than any of the other people we contacted. Ultimately, it took several more months before Chris and I came to a solution. We had to settle on a few more repairs that delayed the recurrent issues and getting some of our money back. I would have rather paid more for a good job. After a year and a half of playing one sided phone tag and missing work for “visits,” we were beyond frustrated with the unprofessionalism of Home Depot and American Carpet South. Needless to say, my friends, family, and I no longer support them.

We purchased a dishwasher on Aug. 31. It was delivered in early October. We had paid for installation. The deliverymen advised they could not install the dishwasher and Home Depot would have to send a plumber. After making numerous calls to the 877 number, we had an appointment for a plumber two weeks later. The plumbers arrived, and they advised us they would not install the dishwasher unless we paid over $300 for an extra safety valve. We were shocked as we had installed a dishwasher 5 or 6 years ago without any problem and our house was built only 20 years ago. We wanted to cancel the sale, but then we learned about the 48 hour cancellation policy for appliances. Do not buy appliances from Home Depot because of the long delivery wait. If something goes wrong, you cannot cancel the sale!

I purchased a Home Depot protection plan warranty. I've spent three days trying to get the information to get my washing machine repaired. They asked me to upload my photos of my receipt which I did three different times. I also uploaded my warranty receipt. I have spoke with four different people at Asurion protection. The last person I spoke with said they needed more documentation they needed my receipts again I uploaded them for a fourth time. They should make welfare as hard to get as a customer service person to help you. Here it is 6 days later still no date when I'll get my washing machine repaired. Asurion warranty is absolutely worthless. The first time I called a Asurion there was a dog barking in the background and the lady trying to assist me was completely worthless. I guess Home Depot selling me a worthless warranty relieves them of any and all obligations for customer service. Maybe Home Depot should restate their policy "lets do this" to "let's don't do this" thank you for nothing Home Depot.

Went to pick up an online order. 5 employees are milling around the counter where my husband an I are waiting. None of them stops milling around to come and serve us. When I mentioned it, this one man comes to my face and gives me hell for doubting that they’re busy. He starts describing each person’s job instead of catering to us. 0 service at the pick up counter even with 5 employees!

If you make a purchase at Home Depot, don't loose your receipt. Home Depot no longer offers Store Credit so you no longer can get a refund.

I ordered a Ryobi pressure washer online. It arrive on 10-6-21. The already beat up box was left almost on the drive way, to the view of anybody passing by. It would have taken only two more steps to drop the box behind my front door bushes out of sight. To my surprise, when I opened the box, the user's manual was torn, the washer without a bag and blemished. If I wanted a used washer, I'd would have gone to a pawn shop. I will never buy from HD online again.

Ordered blinds in Aug 2021 with delivery scheduled for 9/14. Ten of 14 arrived on 9/16. Other 4 was supposed to be delivered same time. Then the store (without notifying us) reordered on 9/24. Told delivery would be by 10/8. Received an email today that they are backordered and estimated delivery is 10/19. I would give Home Depot negative stars but that is not an option.

Ordered a vanity cabinet for the bathroom in Aug. Estimated delivery was one month out. Went to check the status in Sept to find out that the package was lost !!! Ordered again for a delivery in Oct !!! Ordered a mirror for the bathroom. Same story - product is lost in transit. We told them to cancel the order. They refuse to refund the money because it can be cancelled only when it is received in the store. Does that make any sense ? There is a lack of visibility between HD and their supplier, but they don't want to take ownership of their problem. I will not order anything else from HD online....

The Home Depot does not match what is in the store on hand. The webpage shows that in the store is 16 cases of peel & glue cases and my order of 8 cases can't be full filled as the C/S claim that they do not have that many. Beside that the C/S take 34 minutes to answer the phone. Well she answered after 4 minutes with words "PLEASE HOLD" then for a half hour no one get back to me. This not first time when I try to show the Home Depot when an item is shown on web site but not in the store. Last time without calling I went to buy and come back with empty car as the store clerk was not able to find plywood 4'x8' even it was showing to him also that it is in the store. He explained as someone must to take it and drop in another store location. Really??? That big item! I'm ready to start a boycot of The Home Depot.

I scheduled a washer/dryer delivery and installation. I did not receive a call the day scheduled so called about 3 pm to ask about my delivery. It took multiple phone calls and long hold times to even get through to someone. Then they couldn't give me an answer on whether delivery was even attempted, but said they needed to reschedule to the next day. I told them I required an early delivery. I didn't get a phone call until noon. The employee who called said they did not get the note about an early delivery and couldn't deliver today and that the next available appointment was in five days. Then he rudely insisted that they had tried to call me the originally scheduled day which they absolutely did not do. Very disappointed in both the service and attitude of the employee. They're trying to remedy it. I just hope it's a good product once it finally gets to me. The Fairbanks, AK Home Depot needs to improve their communication with both customers and fellow employees.

We purchased a washing machine, dryer and refrigerator in June 2021. Washer/dryer were to be delivered 8/31. Dryer not on truck. Told wait 24 to 48 hrs. Then told that again. Then again. It is now September 18th. We were told manufacturer was drop shipping new washer since other one lost and then told it would be delivered today on 9/18. They said the washer and fridge would be on two different trucks but both delivered between 10 and 2. The refrigerator was delivered today around 11:30 am. No washer so my husband called. They said they would call back. We waited and he left another message. Then we got a voicemail that the washer was on a different ticket (yes probably since it was dropshipped due to the error) and now they can't give us any information until Wednesday! Are you kidding me? We are TIRED of waiting. Where is this washer and why do we continue to have to be penalized for Home Depot and their delivery people's errors? Buyer beware! We are fed up!!

It was the first and last time I will buy an appliance at Home Depot. My wife and I originally physically went to Home Depot on July 27th to get a Bosch dishwasher solely on the fact that they had it in stock. Once there, they didn’t have it in stock (contradicting the website of the specific store). We ended up purchasing a lower model because, once again, it was in stock, as told by saleswoman on the floor. We paid for the appliance installation and removal ($159 cdn) and haulaway ($35 cdn) and scheduled delivery for a week and a half later on Aug. 6. After taking the day off for the delivery and installation (as both Home depot and the third party installation conpany called to book the day), I received a phone call the night that it would delayed until the beginning of September. So the entire point of buying the dishwasher because it was available was moot. Plus, it was already paid for so we took our chances and waited another month. The night before the delivery date, once again, i received a phone call, this time an automated one, informing us the new delivery date was in two weeks. We finally received our dishwasher today (Sept. 18), but no word from the installation company, before or after delivery. I was on hold for 3 hours, with 3 home depot reps, only to finally get a number for the third party (a company called QC - Quick Contractors) and have been on hold for another 2 hours and still no word. All tallied, we’ve been without a working dishwasher for almost three months, lost two days of work, plus hours being on hold. This is hard in any situation, nevermind with a toddler and a newborn going through dishes like a family would. I now have a lovely useless Bosch dishwasher in my living room. Thanks Home Depot! Never again.
