Wish I could give them 0 stars. Several years ago I bought a refrigerator and had it delivered. The day before delivery they said it would be 10 days until they could deliver it. I canceled the purchase and bought elsewhere. This happened again with a dishwasher several months later. We stopped shopping there for years. 2 months ago my washer went out and SAME EXACT PROBLEM WITH DELIVERY! This time I was told the washer I bought TEN DAYS AGO and paid for was out of stock! What!?!?!?! Canceled order and another box store delivered it the next day. Now my husband wanted a specific toolbox only sold at Home Depot. I bought it and scheduled delivery for his birthday. I was guaranteed delivery because unlike appliances, the toolboxes come directly from the store. Last night I get a text and email the delivery was rescheduled for TWO WEEKS OUT! This was the last straw. I will never step foot in a Home Depot ever again!

I went there to get flooring (30 mins)not one person there to offer assistance. I would love to say I will never go back but they have an item Lowe's doesn't and I don't need customer service for, not that I would get any help anyways. Bet you bottom dollar however when I am done with those items (in a months time) I won't ever cross their threshold.

I just rented a car at Home Depot in cherry hill Maryland. I was supposed to return the car by 8pm I picked up the car at 1901 park the car and walk to the station he close the door on me saying he is closed at 8pm. His name is nick who is very ignorant. I am 8 month pregnant imagine. I never had this type of experience at the other Home Depot which I should have gone too. The manager was nice enough to help me return which was nice

I have a pro account with Home Depot and buy online for pickup and, eventually, delivery often. More often than not something goes wrong. Pickup orders are often not completed timely or they are mishandled (wrong items). This time I ordered online a silicone chalk package of four (at least, that is what it shows at their website, first page). Also, the price seems adequate for a package of four bottles. They delivered just one bottle and claims that somewhere in the description there was a mention that it was just one bottle, WHICH I STILL CAN'T FIND. Why then they have a package of four ON THE FIRST PAGE? This was serviced by the Newark, NJ store. Which is, by far, the worse store that I have the displeasure of dealing with. My contractors, often, refuse online order items that are rotten or damage, and they find items in my online orders that were missing by their service department. I had to spend 1.5 hours to get a $14 item refunded but without any admission that their page was misleading. As you can imagine, this money does not make a dent on my budget. The time that I spent is just for the aggravation of their irresponsibility and bad customer services. Compare that to how Amazon deals with these problems. All we have to do is to provide a brief explanation of why/how the webpage description was misleading and they will come to your door in the next day to pick up the item, and the return may happen a couple of days later. The bigger market share Amazon gets the happier I am. Can’t wait for the day when they will put Home-Depot in its place as one of the worse businesses to deal with. By the way, I am a software architect with more than 4 decades of experience that only works for Fortune 500 companies. I would like to think that i know exactly what a misleading website looks like.

I received a gift card for Home Depot. I used the card once and then the next time I went to use it there was less money on it than there was last time i used it. Spend 30 min in store afterwards trying to find out what happened. Customer support was unable to tell me what was purchased on the card. This is such a scam! Home Depot keeps records of all purchases. I know that from returning items previously. The only reason they would not be able to disclose the items purchased is if they had something to hide. I will never accept or buy a Home Depot gift card again.

Ordered cabinets on May 14 to be delivered to my house. email delivery date May 17. Ok great.May 17 email . Sorry carrier issues no delivery, Now its the 19, then 20, then 21. Then no emails. Went online to check, now the date is June, 1. Trying to be patient and not get upset. So I waited. Guess what no delivery. Check package track its sitting in Atlanta, Georgia with a delivery date of June 13 now. Why would it take two weeks to get to California? Then it said Exception occurred. What does that mean. So I called Customer Service. They said they would start a "INVESTIGATION". Ya right. I would hear something in two days from them. Guess what? NO contact. Home Depot Sucks!

I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a washing machine in store with a scheduled delivery a week later. A week later they delivered a dryer. I had to go back to the store cancel the charges but giving them the benefit of the doubt I reordered the same washing machine with a scheduled delivery a week later A week later they were a no show with no phone call. I'll be going to elsewhere tomorrow and from now on.

Hello, I was happy to buy a dual oven from Home Depot. When it arrived and my husband and neighbors opened up the box the most devastating thing happened. My spouse mismeasured. We immediately went back to the store we purchased it from and the Manager on duty said she couldn’t take it back because the she would have to mark it down and lose money. So, no she did not accept our exchange. We were told that a markdown is basically throwing it away for Home depot. What ever happened to making a customer happy? It was an honest mistake. Please help us !!! We were told we would have to demo our kitchen to make it fit because it is too big.

Order on line. Charged 79.00 for delivery. 4 days later I called, Said they hadn’t picked it yet! When would you like it? Um now! We will work on it. Hence call 4 days later. It has been picked but since you ordered on line delivery is not by us?? We will get it straightened out, manager will call. NO call. Then I get a email, coming 15 days after ordered. Argh! Just got another email now, it will an additional 3 days until delivered. Never have I ever. Will no longer order from them for delivery. Hoping product arrives in damaged. We will see! Not sure why I’m being charge for delivery either, $500 worth of stuff.

Trying to order online is IMPOSSIBLE. You have to set up an account... what? Second option 2 party verification. What? So I sent verification code received on my mobile phone. And then I was directed for my personal information and auto re-directed to a store in another state!!! Like most people of late .. I have been doing most shopping online. This was the third and last time I ever try HOme Depot again.

Worst experience ever with their online ordering/delivery department. They failed to deliver on time and had to spend over 4 hours on the phone trying to figure out something they should have done themselves. Will never order from them again.

I purchase a window installation package from Home Depot and paid full price for a job not fully complete. I call and spoke to customer care who said someone will come out to finish the job. It's been 3 months + and counting and still no one shows up to finish the job. Never ever have any work done by home depot. They lack the commitment they promised at the contract signing. Once they get your money, they do not care what happens thereafter. I am solely disappointed. I should have selected another company to get the job done.

As per usual, Home Depot has their head up their ass when it comes to customer service. I purchased building material on the website and it was supposed to be delivered next day. The website said there was a problem with scheduling deliveries, but a representative from Home Depot would contact me shortly. Never heard from there. Today is here, no email, no next, no phone call. So, I called them. Oh, your delivery can't be made until middle of next week. So I cancelled. I wish I could say this was unusual, but it's not, everything they do is screwed up. Wish we had a Lowe's in town. Of course, it doesn't surprise me. I've come to expect it. Thanks for nothing Home depot!

Home Depot at Miramar, Haileah and Pembroke Pines do not want to help the customers find materials. Customer Service representative at the Pines store was unprofessional, rude, and lacked the necessary knowledge to be proactive. I was searching for Veranda vinyl fence panels. Multiple stores showed in the system they had many, yet they kept telling me all they had was what was on display. Lumber personal were dismissive and had the isles messy with large materials all over the floors causing safety hazards. Finally after getting the manager at the Pines store, the panels were found. I had to drive to 3 stores searching because employees were too lazy, disorganized, and careless to bring down the pallets. At the Pines stores they sent me to the university store. That's when I called the manager. They had me driving around south Florida until I called a manager. This person took action and went out back to find the panels. She was the only person there that was attentive and professional. Home Depot is not was it used to be... Very disorganized isles, dangerous with many safety hazards. rude staff, long lines of over an hour at customer service. The company seems like it's going under at rapid speed. Many family and friends have shared similar stories. From now on my store of choice will be Lowe's for building and garden material. Lowe's has organized stores, and knowledgeable staff. At Lowe's walking through their isles will not put your life in danger.

Wow. When you think it couldn't go wrong any further...got a call 8am from installer; they would arrive 12-2pm. Said I'm ready..They finally showed up after 4pm. 3x men..when I opened my gate Two blew past me while the 3rd was texting, walking slow down the driveway. When I asked if he wanted to come in( I have animals) he finally spead up. The other 2 where already in my house. When I walked inside he said "gimmy towels " I asked for what if a blanket or sheet would work?. He looks at me and says " you have additude.. cannot do install " Iasked he pls repeat what he said... I thought I didn't understand him correctly as im from EU...then I opened my gate they left. I called the install dispatch and was rescheduled after they apologized..I would get 10% if I call beck( never happened) Now to take another day of work and after their install mess 2 hours of removing grease fingerprints of my new appliances. I feel not only insulted but it was clearly a waste of my time..I too work. Very poor customer service this guy cl

Ordered flooring and it was a month out for delivery date. I was told the time would be from 7:00 am to 8:pm. When the date finally arrived, I took the day off work. By 10:30, no arrival and I called. Customer service said it was on its way. By 2:30, I called again. Same response. By 4:30 I called again and was told the driver started at 6am and could only drive for 10 hours, so my flooring went back to home depot and ill have to wait another 3 weeks for the next delivery. Really?

My wife and I ordered a new GE range with Air Frier and received it on May 7, 2022. Upon delivery the installers place a dryer power cable on the range, one of them took pliers and bent one of the metal lugs so it would fit into the power outlet. He had to beat the plug with his fist to make it go into the outlet. A day later the oven's preset temperatures would not work as described in the manual, only gave 170 Deg. After contacting HD I was told to turn off the breaker and not use the range due to possible fire hazzard. A second cred showed up three days later and install the correct power cord. The installer advised me to request a new range due to possible damage to range from incorrect intallation. Well today I had to call Home Depot a third time due to their coustomer service people telling me on the second call i would receive a call in 72 hours, then the third call I was told I would get a call in 48 hours advising of delivery. We have spent in the last three months close to $10,000 on appliances and items to remodel our kitchen. am totally over Home Depot, Ive never been lied to and treated like im totally stupid. I will never again purchase one damn item from them. I'll drive 10 miles to Lowes in the future! A totally pissed off customer!
