I purchased a Home Depot protection plan warranty. I've spent three days trying to get the information to get my washing machine repaired. They asked me to upload my photos of my receipt which I did three different times. I also uploaded my warranty receipt. I have spoke with four different people at Asurion protection. The last person I spoke with said they needed more documentation they needed my receipts again I uploaded them for a fourth time. They should make welfare as hard to get as a customer service person to help you. Here it is 6 days later still no date when I'll get my washing machine repaired. Asurion warranty is absolutely worthless. The first time I called a Asurion there was a dog barking in the background and the lady trying to assist me was completely worthless. I guess Home Depot selling me a worthless warranty relieves them of any and all obligations for customer service. Maybe Home Depot should restate their policy "lets do this" to "let's don't do this" thank you for nothing Home Depot.

Here in Central Houston, HD has one of their busiest stores on Loop 610 West. They are so secure in their effective monopoly that they don't bother keeping their online inventory updated. I just wasted a trip today to buy 20" drawer slides (over 50 in stock they said), only to find the bin totally empty, and none visible in shelves above. So I went to Lowe's and found what I needed. Maybe it's time to drive the extra mile (and don't even think of finding quality lumber at HD :()

This is the second appliance order (I didn’t learn my lesson the first time)delivery you've managed to give me the run around on. Ordered on August 25, 2021 at 10:27pm CST as they were updating homedepot.com and the system put my zoned stores address instead of my own. I didn’t catch this till my confirmation was sent. Spoke to someone from the delivery team and I get told anytime a customer edits their order after placement it’s considered fraud. She stated she corrected it and it should still arrive Thursday. After not receiving any other update on it I have contacted and spoke with several team members as well as the "Escalations team", and no one did what 1 REGULAR AGENT took care of in less than 5 minutes which was reschedule after it was corrected 2 DAYS AGO. I kept getting told you guys would update the delivery and confirm with me. After calling and speaking with Mrs. Pam, she's the only rep I've dealt with that has basic common sense. The other 4 reps should be reprimanded and retrained on how to handle these situations as you have not only cost me money by having to pay for laundry services, I also missed work for this delivery and will have to miss it again on Tuesday. It's bad enough the Samsung WF42H5000AW/A2 I bought on Sept 11, 2019 just had a complete failure right outside the warranty period, and that delivery had to most shady, rude, and lazy delivery drivers leaving them outside in the rain due to "we don't have enough time to fit it in". Now here I am, giving you a second shot and I still get played around with, while costing me even more money for the second time in a relatively short period for the same type of appliance. Now here I am, giving you a second shot and I still get played around with, while costing me even more money for the second time in a relatively short period for the same type of appliance. I spoke with Mrs. Betty on my original delivery date of 09/02/21 and she said everything was set for delivery on 09/07/21. She was super sweet and helpful, the only rep out of the 8 I had dealt with a that had competence and basic customer service skills. Today, I check my tracking for my delivery window, and see no update or delivery issue message. Upon calling a second time (the first appliance hotline rep wasted 13 mins of my time and hung up in my face cackling) she just decided in the middle of the call to just go silent and all I could hear was hear breathing. She then decided to cancel my order without my consent or agreement and hang up. Now my last savings is tied up in refund hell, they’ve wasted 2 weeks of my time, 4 days of unpaid work, and undue stress sue to sheer unparalleled incompetency. Don’t order from them or fork over your hard work earned money. They’re silly enough to throw 800-900 dollars down the drain for a zipcode change that obviously could’ve been easily changed.

If there is a zero star then I would have given them that. I ordered decking stuff in Blaine Home Depot on May and I was told that it will be on my door step on first week of June. Since it wasn’t there on June I called and was told it will be here by end of July and then called again was told it will be here by end of August and now they are telling it will be here end of September. I am really disappointed by the service. I am a loyal customer and bought every small to big items from Home Depot, from my kitchen appliance to the washing machine but this experience has been horrendous. Talked with the rep here, although he apologized but doesn’t seemed/sounded like one. I guess, it’s basically telling me to go take your business elsewhere which I will. I won’t shop here anymore.

I will never use again I will never use again! I on average spent $300 to $400 a month at Home Depot. I scanned a bar code at one of Home Depot’s stores. I was contacted by Bath Envy for a consult. After agreeing to a two day install, I was expected to pay for the project up front in March…i did so as requested. After multiple calls by me, the project started in May. It took over two months with a series of errors that cost me over $3500. I made Home Depot aware step by step of my concerns . The people on the phone were very sympathetic, The Resolution Epeditior to my case was not! Colette, the Resolution Expediter, called me once. She said she would follow up and never did… except for a letter asking me to sign off that Home Depot was not at fault and that a $300 would be provided in good faith but that they would not accept liability for the errors they made. I attempted to call her but to discuss further but she provided a false number in the letter she sent. I decided to respectfully declined. It was their fault… they sent a non BBB company out to my house under their reputation. I was duped because I would have never expected that. Now I am a devote Lowe’s customer. Sad that Home Depot treated a home town hero (nurse) like that during current climate over the past year!!!

Home Depot ripped me off. We ordered a 6 pack of smoke detectors and instead got a box with one smoke detector that is missing the wires necessary to install. Called HD and they claim there is nothing that they can do for me. They claimed the box that they shipped weighed 5lbs, but it did not. It only weighed 1.2lbs. Guess I will be shopping at Lowes from now on.

We could go into a long narrative of the lack of customer service displayed by Home Depot, but we’ll let the following history speak for itself. Some training in being “pro-active” in customer service, along with a total revamp of their notification system is highly recommended. APRIL 1 – Ordered appliance package deal consisting of frig, range, dishwasher, & microwave. Delivery scheduled for June 18. APRIL (near the end) – Received credit call bill. Home Depot had already put charge on account. Called Home Depot to complain, and was told this was standard practice. MAY – Received call that dishwasher model needs to be changed; agreed to change model no. JUNE 11 – Received instructions to prepare for delivery for June 18 JUNE 15 – Received notification that delivery needs to be changed to July 9 JULY 8 – Received text “ONE DAY AWAY! YOUR APPLIANCE DELIVERY IS SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW.” Also received notification “YOUR APPLIANCE IS ALREADY ON THE TRUCK READY TO BE DELIVERED TO YOU.” Also “APPOINTMENT TIME FRAME IS SET THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR DELIVERY BASED ON THAT DAY’S TRUCK ROUTE.” JULY 9 – Received text “YOUR APPLIANCE IS SCHEDULED TO BE DELIVERED TODAY.” But never received any phone call or electronic notification of time of day. Contacted Home Depot via phone, and was told that dishwasher could not be found; dock search was underway. If dishwasher was not found, Home Depot would deliver other appliances, and refund the dishwasher. We would need to call back on Tuesday (July 13). And was told they couldn’t call us because they received calls all day, and could not set aside a time to call us. JULY 13 – Called Home Depot to get status. They did not find dishwasher or ANY OF OUR APPLIANCES! Home Depot wanted to reschedule our delivery to August 13. We told Home Depot to refund our money.

I bought a John Deere riding mower that was to be delivered and I specifically asked that it be delivered when I was home to sign for. The day of delivery it arrived around 4:30 pm, the driver rolled it off the truck into my driveway in the rain and then got in his truck and left. Ok, fine I was home. But I go outside, not knowing where the packet is or the key only to find that the back end behind the seat was dented, with what looked like rust and the paint chipping off. I immediately called called customer service to have them pick it back up, only to get the run around. The store I purchased it from, said it didn’t come from them, it was shipped from one out of state, and after 30 min on the phone with the store that sent it I was told they do an inspection and don’t know how it could have been damaged. I asked to have the driver come back, I was told they could not do that, and they didn’t even know which one to contact because it had not appeared to be delivered yet. And they use third party delivery trucks. So I’m assuming they are not even employees of Home Depot. Fast forward to yesterday Friday( April 23rd) the tractor was to be picked up, but I had to be home to sign for. I called at 11:30 am only to be told it would be picked up but somewhere between 6am-8pm. I was told I would receive a call 30 min prior to arrival. Fast forward to 5:30 pm and still nothing, so I call the manager of the store, who said she could not give me a time. I asked her to call the driver, she said that after 4-5 pm the driver don’t answer their phone. So I said” so pretty much they are done working at 4 or 5 pm, but you ask customers to stay home till 8pm for delivery or pickups? Yes pretty much she replied. I’m so done with this company and want my 2100$ returned so I can purchase a new mower, but that can’t happen till this oneNo one knows what they are doing, and all you get is I’m sorry.

The delivery team cut a 2.5’x2 piece of linoleum out of my floor in front of the dishwasher...and did not anchor in the dishwasher, and didn’t speak English. I called Home Depot to complain and a claim was put in. Now 7 months later, of spending time on hold to get resolution, they called to say they aren’t going to come back and fix my floor or anchor my dishwasher. My dishwasher falls out when I open the door, and the piece of linoleum in front of my dishwasher slides around and gets dirt under it. Home Depot will not have my business from here on out.

I chose Home Depot to complete my kitchen remodel. Initially the process was great. However, the subcontractor provided by HD who installed the countertop did a horrible job. They were difficult to work with immediately. They made it clear their time was more valuable than mine when trying to schedule. The man who did the measurements was rude to me and my main contractor. The install though was terrible. One slab was cut at a wrong angle and did not butt up to the stove, at places leaving a gap of almost 1/2 an inch. The same on another slab. I was told the seam wouldn't be noticeable, but there's a ridge and it's not level with the neighboring slab. (I was told the seam should be polished down till it can't be seen or felt) the slab for the sink is where it's really unjustified below industry standard work. The hole for the sink was cut so far back, the faucet can't be installed. He cut the hole for faucet anyway knowing this. They told me I could remove my window frame. To make things worse, the installer drug dog poo into my house. I don't have a dog. Immediately I called the store. Logan asked I provide photos, which I did and was told, in writing, it was below standards and would be looked into. I never heard back from the store. I called corporate and was connected to Erika. She actually laughed when I told her everything. I was contacted by the installer who sent their manager to the house to inspect, again my schedule was inconvenient for them. He attempted to spin me but admitted it was poorly done. I was later contacted by someone at the installation company via email and was told it was not properly installed and needed to be replaced. Erika at Home Depot corporate also sent me an email saying it would need to be replaced. I was then contacted by Adrienne at the store who involved a guy named Steve. They told me they'd give me any faucet I wanted and financial compensation for my troubles. I want to note Steve was aggressive and attempted, in my opinion, to try to bully and intimidate me. The call dropped. I emailed Erika and accepted the new install, the faucet and financial compensation I was offered. She responded in writing the next day telling me I had two options: $500 and I just deal with the poor quality work or they will come install a faucet I provide at my expense and they'll give me $200 for the inconvenience. I responded I expected they honor their original resolution offers. She responded it was not negotiable. I have filed a law suit in order to recover my money. In the mean time, I live with a kitchen that is not fully functional. It's costing me money in a variety of ways from eating out, bottled water, lost wages to my other workers, etc. Plus the inconvenience of having to do dishes in my bathroom for over two months now and my house in disarray and it will still be a while before its resolved. Home Depot has made it clear they don't think I'm worthy of quality work and they are an unethical company. I attempted to leave a review on the home depot website but they've blocked me from being able to.

I own and operate a wholesale nursery.I bought a $27,10” Mass Cane plant at your Punta Gorda Store this morning. When I got it home and replanted it, I found that it was 3 separate canes stuck into the pot with minimal roots. The plants have obviously been in the container for a very short time. I would expect much better product from your grower costa Farms, and much better Quality Control at Home Depot.

My bad experience came from store #6984 in Brownsville, TX when they had a misleading advertising price for a Dewalt Drill and Impact. The store had a "locking mechanism" with 6 of the same items (Dewalt Drill and Impact Combo) for $149, and when I requested for an associate to retrieve the item to purchase, even he confirmed the price of $149. It was not till I got to the register it rang up for $249, which I then spoke to a Manager (Edward) and he admitted to saying it was a store mistake and could not honor the posted price. I felt it was unfair so I took many photos because it was not just one item but many in a locking position. I may have understood if it was a consumer who may have mistakenly placed it there but the items were locked with security alarm thing which falls toward store mistakes. He then refused to work with the price listed and commented to go online and purchase it instead because he was not going to work with the false misleading price they had posted despite 2 employees had confirmed the $149 price tag. I was very upset and left the store with the consideration of submitting a claim to the BBB for an investigation.

A few days ago we bought a Christmas tree at Home Depot. And what a surprise awaited us and our child today when we saw that dozens of ticks began to crawl out of this tree. That's just terrible!!! When we buy a live Christmas tree, we are looking for a Christmas mood, a holiday for the whole family, gifts under the tree, and instead we get the tears of a child, disappointment and fear from realizing where else the ticks could crawl in the house. It is terribly unprofessional to sell such trees to unsuspecting people and expose people's health to such a risk without any control over the quality of living trees. I'm not talking about the spoiled mood! Be careful when buying live Christmas trees at Home Depot. It is terrible situation! 😢I can’t describe what my child feels now..

Home Depot's customer service is so terrible that I cannot find any words to describe it. First time I ordered a washer and dryer the technician did not install it and cancelled the whole order without my approval. I exactly know why and how he did it. My wife is not a native English speaker so it is obvious that the delivery employee tried to take advantage of this situation and they did. We live in a 4 story townhome and the laundry room is on the 3rd floor so I am %100 sure they did not want to carry the appliances up to the 3rd floor. They left a note saying that the depth of the washer and dryer is too large and it should be at or below 30" which is not accurate because the previous washer and dryer set's depth was 34". To get this issue sorted out, I have called your customer service line 5 times (where 2 times I was put on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes) and requested that I would like to receive the washer and dryer not a refund. The second time I ordered a washer (the LG here) the delivery people brought it where one side of the washer was completely banged up (See Photos please!!) because someone dropped it when picking it up with a forklift. So me and my wife declined to have it installed and the delivery people ordered another washer who knows when we will receive it. Now I am on the phone with Home Depot Online and they are telling me that there is not another order under my name and I am about to go insane!!!!! From now on, I will make sure that I cancel my Home Depot Pro account and switch over to Lowe's. I will make sure to address these 2 issues to to your executives both by email and a letter. Home Depot should just terminate its customer service department simply because there are no follow ups, no professionalism and no care. I think terminating this department will save your company a lot of money. Home Depot Online Store is terrible and but the customer service is even more terrible. ALL CUSTOMERS STAY AWAY FROM HOME DEPOT AND GO BUY FROM ANOTHER STORE!!!!!!!!!
