HOME DEPOT WORKERS NEED MORE TRAINING. I was told by a chat rep that I will get compensated because of the dented stove. At the end nothing could be done because I didn't save the chat script as a proof. The chat rep said that they couldn't find any chat about it. lesson learned. Also schedule a tech to take a look at this new fridge. I reported under the 48 hours. At the end the tech can't fix the un even doors and the rubber sealant. Home depot refused to take it back because its over the 48 hours. Just told me go straight to the manufacture. Policy must be followed but they can also go around it depending on certain situation. One say yes, I can get you a replacement. Next thing, I know is no replacement can be order. Contacted LG but told should contact home depot. so frustrating!

To Whom It May Concern, I would strongly advise against ordering items from Home Depot through their online app. There appears to be a glitch in the application that fails to notify customers when their packages have been delivered. Unfortunately, my family and I experienced this firsthand. After one of our packages was stolen without us being aware it had even been delivered, I contacted Home Depot multiple times to address the issue. Their response was disappointing. They acknowledged that the package delivery notification system was malfunctioning but still refused to take responsibility because their delivery partner, ONTRAK, had taken a photo showing the package on our porch. Here’s the solution they offered me: "We are sorry this happened and we understand your frustration. While we recognize the issue with the delivery notifications, there isn't anything we can do. You will need to file a report with the police for the missing package, send that report to Citibank, and possibly get reimbursed for the item. You can then reorder it." This response places the burden on customers, even though the failure to notify was due to a glitch in their system. If you're elderly, disabled, or have any limitations, this process could be especially cumbersome. Essentially, if you don't know your package has arrived and it’s stolen, Home Depot will not take responsibility, even if it’s due to a flaw in their app. Instead, they expect you to navigate a complicated process of filing a police report and seeking reimbursement from your bank. Consider this a warning to potential customers. My advice: test the system with a small order to see if notifications work for you before committing to larger purchases. Best wishes, and hopefully, you won’t have to learn the hard way as we did.

A shout out to Alondra in the Home Depot on University Drive in Denton, TX. I needed to make a complicated appliance purchase for a non-profit. I had gotten as far as I could online. I came in to the store for help. Alondra was fabulous. It was a purchase that required help. She asked for supervisor help where needed, and she got it done with a smile. Thanks, Home Depot, for having employees like Alondra. I'll be back to purchase other items.

In the Kingston homedepot there is a gentleman who's name is Jim. He works in the appliance department. We purchased a washer and a stove. Jim went through the entire explanation of each appliance. He answered all of our questions and went over certain things a number of times. I just hope the appliances are as good as Jim's explanation. A great service person and a credit to homedepot.

Home Depot online ordering has been one of the biggest disappointments. I ordered a vanity 12 days ago. After missing my delivery date multiple times and numerous calls to the resolution team, nothing has been resolved and I do not have a vanity. I was informed the shipping company is too busy to deliver my order and I can wait until next year to receive my order. At this point I asked for a refund. I was put on hold over an hour, informed management was in a meeting and too busy to speak to me, they might call me back at their convenience. So no product, no refund. I'd call that theft. Needless to say I will not shop online or in-store at Home Depot as they ripped me off $700. Buyer beware when ordering from Home Depot. Also note HUB group was the shipping company. Very unreliable.

I would give them a zero if I could. I usually use my HD credit card, but recently I used my other credit card to pick up a washer box. My handyman did not get the work done because he was ill and I could not install the box for about 90 days. I went back to the store 92 days after I bought it. NO RETURN--if I had used my HD card it would have been a year, but nope--not if you used cash or other payment means. The item is still stocked and current and was unopened, calling customer service--NO HELP. For many years I have used Home Depot, and spent thousands there, after this experience, I will probably shop elsewhere--and I recommend you do to. Prices are OK, but the customer service has become abysmal in recent times.

I visited a store in Brooklyn NY, 11234, Mill Basin. Two staffers tried to find an item that I was looking for, but unsuccessfully. Eventually, I talked to Ricky, who discovered where it was improperly located and gave it to me. At the same time, he advised that for my small project I would better take another item instead. It was a great advise I appreciate this. Thank you Ricky! Sept 4, 2014.

Rebecca Henderson at the S. Dale Mabry store in Tampa was amazing! She went above and beyond helping me find a product that said only had 2remaining. Searching and finding them for me. Then helped me match the right color trim! Simply amazing. She needs a raise asap! I WAS EXTREMELY SATISFIED!

WG67770466 David Order Date: August 6, 2024 Product has been paid for in full for over $1800.00 and on 9/3 is still not here. I have called and requested updates and have been told that I can contact the shipping agent. I have had the delivery date change 3 times since the order at which no one can explain why as well as no one will give me answers as to when it will be in? As a contractor, this is the number one reason I will stop using Home Depot. As a military veteran of over 21 years, I find this to be so unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Final purchase has been made and the word of mouth will follow.

Home Depot you have lost our business. You have very poor customer service. You shut down our card because of lack of inactivity but we purchased items less than 6 months ago. Our payments were completely on time and paid off ahead of time but you shut it off because we haven't used the card. Pretty crazy when we've had our account with you over 10 years and spent a ton of money with you. But just so you know that will change and I will take my business account elsewhere as well in that account does over $100,000 in materials a year. Good job home Depot!

Purchased a new refrigerator in the Victoria, Tx store. Delivery arrived at my front gate on schedule 3 days later. Then things started going bad. First the delivery men refused to drive their truck under a tree about 250 yards short of the house. So I had to take my tractor to the truck and transfer the fridge to the house. Then they informed me they would not take the old lightning-damaged fridge away. Said they didn’t have time for that. They took the new one out of the box and placed it in the slot in the kitchen, but said they were leaving the old one in the middle of the floor. I finally convinced them to move it to the porch (20 feet away) by giving them each $20. They unhooked the water line with my tools - they didn’t have any - and refused to hook water line to new fridge. They then left, and I spent the next 3-4 hours removing all of the interior taping and packing. I have contracted with a junk removal service to pick up the old unit. Water line hook up will have to get done likewise. Also, HD delivery guys failed to give me an operators manual. I’ll never again buy any appliance or other item from Home Depot which requires delivery, commissioning and hookup. They are complete idiots.

In March 2024, I decide to go with Home Depot's fence installation service, which ultimately resulted in a disappointing experience due to subpar work performed by their contractor, TopRail, along with insufficient oversight from Home Depot. Unfortunately, the installation featured multiple issues, including the use of damaged and non-premium pickets, leading to a series of visits from Home Depot to address these concerns. Throughout this process, I encountered challenges in obtaining my warranty information, as both TopRail and Home Depot provided inconsistent responses. On several occasions, the replacement work performed was inadequate, with pickets placed improperly. Additionally, I was alarmed to notice that a minor child was involved in the installation work. I escalated my concerns to Home Depot's executive complaint department, which eventually connected me with the necessary resources to obtain my warranty information. During the resolution process, I was asked to propose a fair compensation for the poor service received and the presence of a minor child on my project. After evaluating the time invested in addressing these issues and the implications for the integrity of my fence, I submitted a number per HD’s request. I received a low settlement offer, coupled with a non-disclosure agreement that absolved Home Depot of any responsibility regarding my fence installation. I decline HD’s low-ball offer and lies regarding the service I received. I used to love HD, but now I am going to look for every opportunity to take my business elsewhere and share my experience with anyone considering HD.

We have 3 closet organization systems installed. HD did a good job installing the system but did not return the baseboard shoe molding to it original state. There were 3 broken shelves in the master closet. The company sent one shelf that was too long. I called several times with no response. If you have issues, don't expect follow-up.

Ordered four new appliances. Everyone was damaged. One was damaged twice. The worse company to deal with. We finally gave up on one that still wasn't installed right and left it. The aggregation is not worth it. Would never buy appliances from Home Depot again.

VETERANS BEWARE***** Home Depot does not recognize a Military ID as a valid form of ID, Go to Lowes or Menards, but all veterans should vote with their wallets, and shop at a store that values us veterans because Home Depot Does not values Veterans at all!!

i shopped at the home depot in ocala, florida for a specific item; a ryobi leaf blower. when i got to the area that the blower was in i found that they were all locked up. i looked around to find an employee and finally found one about 7 aisles away. i asked for assistance and he said that someone assigned to that area should be around. i explained that i already looked around so he then said that i should go check around the entrance to the garden center to see if that person was there. he left! i went to where he suggested and found no one. i started hunting again and ended up finding the first person i spoke with. i then asked if i was supposed to search the entire store to find someone or maybe he or his friend could help me. his friend grabbed his phone and dialed a number. i turned around and noticed my wife was also talking to an employee and that person was able to help us. when we headed to the self service check out i noticed how backed up they were. there were 4 self serve stations and 3 of them has customers who obviously needed help. there were 4 employees in the area but two were engrossed in conversation with each other. one station had 2 employees with one helping and the other just watching. there were a number of customers standing by waiting for a station to empty so they could complete their shopping.
