I placed an order for an item to be delivered on Christmas Eve as per the instructions on the HOF website. However, for some reason which has yet to be explained to me the order was not delivered as requested and only arrived 4 days after Christmas spoiling what should have been a special surprise for my partner, hence the 1 star. I have been refunded the £3 excess for the delivery - the difference between special and regular delivery - I leave that to you to put your own interpretation of customer service on the outcome along with the limited contact made and the usual platitudes from a large company to a singular individual. Meanwhile my wife enjoyed the gift when she finally got it, shame about the service.

Currently I am unable to write a proper review as I have yet to receive the goods. I have chased this up. Hermes have given me three separate time slots on different days and have failed to deliver. Very disappointed. If I'd known that your couriers were Hermes I probably wouldn't have bothered to place an order in the first place.

Order still hasn’t been received and it was a Christmas present. All emails have been ignored. Very unimpressed. Won’t be shopping at House of Fraser again

I’m really disappointed, I am still waiting to receive my order. The order was placed around 14th December and today is 31st December and still no update about it and when I am going to receive it...

I responded to a marketing email by ordering something for next day delivery on Christmas Eve. I paid £9.99 for this, which I would never normally do as it is very expensive. The parcel arrived after Christmas. I was very disappointed. I emailed House of Fraser and have had no reply. I feel that they should have at least refunded the delivery fee.

I ordered a gift online and paid for next day delivery. Christmas has now been and gone but the item has still not arrived. My emails have gone unanswered. Very poor service.

I paid for next day delivery. It didn’t arrive the next day. And was told it would arrive. I asked for a postage refund and have been ignored.

I am shocked, disappointed and out of words. I have placed an order on the 23rd of Dec 2020 before 6pm with the promise that it will be deleivered before Xmas day.I paid for a premium next day delivery, yet it is the 30th and I have not had any updates, I emailed customer service twice but I guess I have more chances winning the lottery than getting a reply.

They placed my creme de la mer order simply just in a plastic mailing bag, the box was all damaged! This is an absolute disgrace. They were supposed to be gifted, now they are unsuitable. I sent a message to customer service, but not a word from them.

I made my order on 20th December, and at the time it said delivery would be either 23rd or 24th December at the latest. Part of the order arrived the night before last, as at 30th of December, I’m still waiting for the other part to arrive. Very poor service

I bought an item on n the 22nd of December with next day delivery guaranteed for Christmas. On the website it said that any orders placed before 6pm on the 23td with next day delivery would make it in time fir Christmas. I was extremely displeased when my order arrived with me on the 27th December. Especially as I paid extra for next day delivery!

The item i bought was exactly as expected. Right upto the point of price. When my item arrived after paying £80 for it, it turns up with a sale price tag on it priced at £64. So naturally I felt and still l feel ripped off. Would I use house of fraser again ? No i wouldn't.

Shocking customer service! As a result of having to isolate due to COVID in our house I needed to order some last minute presents online. I paid £7.99 for next day delivery. One item arrived after 2 days and the other after 3. They had not even been dispatched when I checked so this was not the fault of the courier. The items were not suitable so I needed to return them, which I had to pay to do! I am expecting to have to wait a while for the refund too! Not the service House of Fraser used to provide, definitely more sports direct! I will not be ordering from you again!

Wouldn’t recommend ordering online. Very behind compared to other online providers, pay a high price for delivery and then pay to send it back if the item isn’t right, no return postage issued. Won’t be using house of Fraser online again, much better services available.
