You pay for delivery and returns

Ordered two pairs of jeans, one L in length, another - XL as L was not available. The sizings have nothing to do with the size guide on the website. Length L is about 10 cm shorter than supposed to be (therefore too short), and size XL is about 10 cm longer than described on the sizing guide, therefore too long. You have to pay 5£ delivery charge for any order, and then if anything like this happens, and it’s not your fault that you need to return the item, you need to pay for the return delivery yourself, and then another 5£ to reorder a new item. Simply ridiculous, won’t recommend to anyone!

My delivery included items with wrong sizes and others that do not fit well. When I returned the items to the House of Fraser shop they rejected them saying I should send them myself by post and the cost of returning them is very expensive, higher than the price I paid purchasing these items. Other than the return address, no postal options was provided and that really is frustrating. Such a bad service!

A parcel was left on my doorstep I called hermes and they confirmed via email that it wasn't left in a secure place and to contact house of fraser to claim your money back which hof refused so now I have no parcel and lost lots of money very poor customer services and very disappointed with how I've been treated

TERRIBLE customer service. Item.not recieved. Wrong item arrived. Still waiting a full refund. Would NOT order whilst they use Hermes qgain.

Paid for next day delivery, item never arrived, after waiting in all day. Just received a picture from Hermes of the courier laying on the sofa having failed to deliver my goods. Wrote to customer services, no reply to date except an automated response.

Would never order from here again. Postage was high but I begrudgingly paid it. I ordered several suits to try. Turns out the buyer pays return postage. Even worse, if you want to exchange, you pay both return and delivery postage again! To try and avoid this, I went to my nearest store, only to be told that they don't accept online returns. An absolute con. Avoid unless you want to spend at least £10 on postage.

I have ordered the same item three times and thought as we live in the UK a size 12 would be an English size 12 but it isn’t. All trousers ordered were a US sizes so instead of a size 12 I got a UK 16. All have been returned and customers services have issued me with a voucher so I am not out of pocket. I will be very reluctant to order from you online again until you sort your sizing policy out. A frustrating process and expensive as you cannot returning and get a refund in store.

Really poor service and not at all what I expected from House of Fraser. Ordered a chair and recieved a confirmation of order email. After 1 week I still hadn't heard anything else. The advised dispatch date passed and still no further email. Contacted customer service on 4 occasions and only received responses on 2 of these. They couldn't tell me what was actually happening with the order as it was a "supplier issue". The amount was then returned to my account so I would guess I'm not getting my order? Paid part card and part gift card so no idea if the giftcard has been refunded as no email or contact to confirm 10 days after placing original order. Really poor processing and lack of communication. It doesn't feel like HoF have the technology to efficiently support online orders. Someone named Ben in customer service was helpful but was limited in what he could do to help or update me. Otherwise really poor customer service and journey.

Ordered on line but took items back to store only to be told by a rude member of staff I would only get a credit note so I took and sent off the items costing £11-15 I was told I would receive a refund for the postage as 2 items were faulty!! I’m hoping to receive a refund this week

Ordered a lovely Biba blouse but when received there was a large security tag attached. Now apparently I have to find a collection shop (not the one I currently use) to print off a returns label, send item back and reorder. A lot of additional work for carelessness on behalf of the online business.

I am very unhappy. I didn’t get the items I was expecting and return is at my own expense. So I’ll be £9.98 out of pocket (delivery cost and return cost). Customer services made me feel like I’m making a fuss for nothing. My first and last HofF online order.

I ordered a pair of shoes for my daughter's hen party, size 6, next day delivery. The next day i got a pair of shoes size 5. Very dissapointed.

I didn’t like the fitting of it. My main complaint is about how the returns work; I had bought four big coats to try on and keep one, but I didn’t like any of them at all and the only way to return is to use the Royal Mail and pay for the postage, which cost me £30. They don’t even let you return to the store! I would have never bought anything if I had known. I had also paid for the delivery too. That’s just way too expensive.

Would never buy anything online again from House of Fraser! Trying to find out if I could return to store was a nightmare, no phone numbers answered, unable to chat online and having to pay for return postage is appalling, most other places don’t. Customer service is non existent.
