Drinks arrived 50 mins after placing order, was told that another deliveryman would be bringing the food (!). That took another hour, and it arrived cold, due to late collection by this other Deliveroo driver. After oddly receiving these separate drinks, my order was immediately closed on Deliveroo as “successfully delivered on time”, so I guess they did this in order to bolster their statistics. I won’t be using this company again.

Waited 1.5 hours for food to be told drivers rejected the order and there’s nothing they could do About it. Customer services offered €2.50 account credit in compensation before we actually lost it. Such poor customer service and had we not gotten in touch we wouldn’t have had any explanation. Terribly poor service

Have ordered with Deliveroo for the 1st time, after an hour of waiting I have been notified that my order was cancelled due to lack of the ingredients in the restaurant( have ordered 2x cheeseburgers). Will not be ordering again.

No drivers so no food delivered, time to stop using Deliveroo Our review follows a similar pattern to everyone else. We ordered our food at 7.22, the delivery time kept being pushed back and when I phoned at 9pm they acknowledged they still had no driver to allocate to the pickup. I cancelled the order and cooked instead. It is obvious that Deliveroo do not have sufficient drivers to meet the order demand. Why continue to take orders when there are no drivers?I do not understand how this business model works - the restaurant loses out , the customer loses out, surely it would be better to stop taking orders when no drivers are available. The restaurants who sign up (and presumably pay) for this service must be even more frustrated as they cook food which is never collected and have customers who never receive their food. Time to give up on Deliveroo, I won’t be using them again.

Over priced, over an hour and poor quality I've done 2 orders, both took over an hour, both were over priced and both were disappointing. My first one was creams were I got charge £10 for a dessert that came in a small mug. Second was KFC where my food was cold.

Waited more then an hour then the driver was at the top of my road so I assumed the food would be arriving any min, status changed to delivered but another 10 mins later and still no food, contacted deliveroo to be told the driver gave my ‘boyfriend’ the food who said he would give me. Complete lie!! Driver should have called me if he couldn’t find the right house!! Or use his common sense and not deliver to the wrong house if that’s that’s what he did. Won’t ever order from deliveroo again as this is the 2nd time they’ve fu**ed around.

I would give a zero if I could. Deliveroo service is appalling. use another service. 1.5 hours to get a delivery! This happens regularly. Pathetic excuses when I raise the issue that they need to give an accurate delivery time at time of order. at time of orders on last 3 orders they have been x3 later. 25-35 minutes at time of order. 93 minutes to actually receive order. then they make you go through hoops in order to get some answers

I made an order at 9:20 through the deliveroo app and I was shocked at the outcome. First I see that the order said it was estimated to arrive at 11 pm 10 mins later I go onto the app and it says between 12-12:15 am which is nearly THREE Hours delivery wait! I contact the restaurant and they said they would get in contact with deliveroo, 10:40 I get a phone call from deliveroo to say that they have to cancel the order as they had no riders to collect my order, only to find out the food had been made, ready to be collected but nobody to collect my order before restaurant closed. On top of this money won't be in my account until three business days. I am absolutely discusted by this. They gave me 5 pound extra until I demanded for more compensation and said they can give me 15 pound altogether. DELIVEROO SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EXCEPT AN ORDER IF THEY DO NOT HAVE RIDERS TO COLLECT THE ORDER BEFORE RESTAURANT SHUTS!!!!!!!!

I’m disgusted by Deliveroo. Ordered £34 worth of KFC in error. Never received the food. And the robbers Deliveroo refuse to refund my money. BEWARE DO NOT USE DELIVEROO

Had to wait for my order foods it come one hour later with foods horrible n very cold foods burnt chicken waffle taste rubbery and 2 missing items spent 56 pound for that I wouldn't order deliveroo never again deliveroo layout n need contact someone on that day not in 48 hours reply huh what that I have no problem with just eat they have good communication but this one zero

Account was Hacked- WHERE IS MY REFUND? Forget the consistent incorrect orders, Deliveroo's system is NOT SECURE and they have been making sport out of me trying to get my REFUND. My account was hacked by uni kids, my address and contact phone number changed with no alert from Deliveroo. The hackers then proceeded to sign me up for bundled [not free, £14/month) monthly delivery, and placed two different orders- everything totaling around £60. In the last week, I've spent over 1.5 hours on the phone with their customer support to remedy this with absolutely no result. I've also emailed back and forth with them- first they tried to blame my bank and say that they weren't liable for the refund- which is ridiculous. It's a clear security breach on their end, has nothing to do with my bank! I told them what the bank said, which is that they're liable and that if they don't pay I will be taking it up with UK Trading Standards. Three days later, no reply. I called again, was told they were escalating things through a sales department which apparently has no way of communicating over the phone, only via email. Three days later, no email. Called again, consistently being given the run around. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I've spent hundreds, if not thousands with this company over the last year, ZERO customer service. The fact that I need to chase this hard to get money back for THEIR breach is unacceptable. NEVER USING AGAIN AND TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW TO DO THE SAME.

My Account was hacked and a deliveroo order was made (i've been living back in Australia for nearly 8 months now) and I have contacted the Deliveroo UK Support team about 6 times over the past 4 weeks and have not received a response since the initial enquiry. Absolutely USELESS organisation and would not recommend to anyone!

If I could give them no stars I would!! Do not use this company. I waited 1 and a half hours for a delivery and tracked it showing he was near. Then they said the driver had delivered and yet there was no sign of the food. I rung customer service who said the restaurant 'had run out of all the food I ordered', he couldn't get hold of the driver and therefore offered me a refund which would be back in my account between 7-10 days. I was feeding a whole office. The man at customer service then put the phone down when I said it really wasn't good enough. Very disappointed!!

Deliveroo is a TOTAL SCAM. You pay money for goods. Said goods arrive late, if at all. Some goods never arrive and Deliveroo will LIE about it. They'll even keep you up all night pretending they are trying to deliver said goods, whilst laughing, with your cash in their hands. Then when you expect a refund for the non-existent goods you've paid for, you won't get one. "This probably isn't the news you want to hear", they'll tell you. No apology. No refund. No goods. Deliveroo is a SCAM. Do not use. You will pay for NOTHING.
