“If I had I would give 0 stars.. Worse delivery services ever! Had food delivery, they couldn't find driver for 1,5 hours, cancelled my delivery. First and last time for me with deliveroo!”

“I think they are really bad as they don’t even have a courtesy to tell customers that they cannot deliver. The food was ready in the restaurant but nobody to deliver. Thanks from a starving customer.. I hope you thrive Cheers”

“Ordered food, Deliveroo kept changing times and delivery driver 2.5hrs later still no food had to cancel order as they still couldn’t find a driver. Worst delivery service I ever had . They shouldn’t advertise certain restaurants if they can’t have drivers to pick the food up.”

“Worst delivery app out there drivers are careless and forget items food comes smashed to bits and when you message deliveroo about it they dont care. Essentially thiefs stick with uber eats or Just eat.”

“We ordered at 17:50 delivery estimated at 18:15, didn’t arrive until 18:45 Part of the order was missing, couldn’t even bother to complain, as last time was the same. The chips was cold and tasted like they was stale, not very nice, the chilli cheese bites was cold and the cheese was like curdled rubber. We will not be using this service again...”

“Food arrived 45 minutes late and cold, despite the restaurant being under 2 miles away from us! Restaurant itself has great reviews so don't think it's an issue with the restaurant, won't be using deliveroo again! Terrible service!”

“This is the first and last time I will… This is the first and last time I will use these people. I order a meal on the 22nd. I received a text saying that the driver had collected. Then another saying he was close by. At this point I thought that they were quite professional. Then it all went wrong. Another text stated that the driver could not find us and had left the food in the garden. What garden if he could not find us? I went outside immediately, no driver and no food. I phoned to complain and after an hour they agreed to refund me. But said it could take ten days. On the 26th they took the money for the food from my account, 4 days after agreeing to refund it. I am still chasing a refund today, they are adamant that they refunded me on the 23rd. 3 days before they took my money. The funds still have not arrived and they keep telling me it will take up to 10 days, even though it is now 22 days after their imaginary refund.”

“Deliveroo used to be great, but greed ruined them. Most of the food is overpriced, plus they overcharge for delivery. Believe me, it's much better to use another delivery option or just go yourself to the place. As someone who used to buy food using Deliveroo for over a year, I strongly recommend you not to use Deliveroo again. At the beginning it was great, now it's pure abuse.”

“Ordered from hot wok, a hour later get a message to say food has been delivered “IT HAD NOT” spent £38 menu for three. Deliveroo so rude and unhelpful, said the rider knocked on the door “HE NEVER” Said that if they get no response they give the food to homeless, or leave in a safe place 🙄 So call hot wok who are just as bad and they say we can’t even come and collect the food (totally confused) So 3 of us still sitting here starving and £38 down. Apparently not entitled to a refund because the driver knocked “DIDNT KNOCK” the door. Absolute joke, won’t be using deliveroo ever again your the worst. And hot wok can do one aswell.”

“High level incompetence. How can the first driver be lost on the road and at the second command the dispatcher said: "he knocked at the door but nobody replied." Why do I fill in the data and the phone number ?! poor !!! in the end they was paid the same pizza and I came to eat at the restaurant because it was almost two hours since I ordered it. I want to say that I stay 4 minutes walking from the restaurant. Pathetic!”

“SCANDALOUS SERVICE! Ordered family meal from London/Catford branch using their Deliveroo service. Food has been delivered 1.5 hours after placing the original order online, many items were missing and the food was stone cold. They ripped us off for more than £30. VERY BAD service! Avoid the Deliveroo like the plague! Deliveroo order: #6899”

“I've been using deliveroo for a long time and I'm happy with them, good and fast service, and they also send occasional gifts. I had only an issue once with them and they sent me another meal plus a refund. I do recommend deliveroo.”

“Driver decided to chuck away my order after not being able to follow clear directions. Phoned customer services to find they offered nothing to resolve the issue and made out to be a huge favour refunding the order. Terrible and frustrating. Did somebody say just eat?”
