“I give it a zero this company is dishonest and is not an auction site,there are bids being made from employees to drive the pride up P***S*** is one of the fake bidders. They also don’t actually allow the winner of the auction to buy the house for that price, after the auction they send an email saying that you can now bid exclusively for an additional 100,000 dollars”

We work extremely hard to ensure that all auctions are fair and transparent. There are occasions when the auction ends without a bidder reaching the Seller’s reserve price. “It’s a wasting time They put you on trap Hubzu bid there self It’s took me almost month for 1 house but it’s keep come back never auction done. But no 1 get it. What a fake. Ughhhhhhhh I can’t play with my cash.”

“By far the worst company I have ever tried to deal with. Why banks work with them and expect a anything in return is beyond me. The 5* rating is clearly HubZu paying for reviews. Its quite unsettling being a winner bidder and having a back up bid throw away your progress. Every other bidding site I've work with has allowed to seller to either renegotiate with a buyer's price for a period of time. In addition to hubzu not giving timely notifications, email or otherwise, I have received no notification as the winning buyer that the seller was unhappy with the price and looking to renegotiate . instead after beating out other bidders and staying awake far past my bedtime because they like to constantly reset the auction with every bid within 15 minutes, I find that a contract was placed with another bidder on the house that I won the auction for.!!!!! Of course hubzu claims no responsibility nor do they look to remedy the situation. On top of that, they're listed agents are slower to respond in their customer service line. Seems fishy all the way around. So I checked out the BBB and low and behold a ton of people leave negative remarks. I'm just looking to add truth to their business quality.”

Someone will be contacting you get more details about the issues you encountered. With regards to your concern about back up bids: If the auction has ended and the property goes under contract, buyers can place a backup bid. Backup bids may be considered if the property falls out of contract and becomes available again. If the contract with a different bidder falls through, the seller may review all backup bids and choose one to proceed to contract or reject all such bids.

“too many fake bidders. The same homes come up for bid over and over again because fake bidders win and then back out. It is a big waste of time to bid on this website.”
