"\u00a3425 lost due to thieving delivery company ikea contracts\r\nHonestly, take into consideration the reviews before purchasing from IKEA ever again.\r\n\r\nI never thought to look at the reviews, As I always considered IKEA a good company\u2026.. but after my recent experience, I will never Purchase another item from IKEA.\r\n\r\nWe had wardrobes delivered by third-party company on behalf of IKEA, The company unit movements in the UK south west , Came into our home and broke our radiator due to an accident where boxes were dropped\u2026. At the time I was only given a phone number to contact and I was told by an employee of them to get my own plumber out and send them the invoice and they would pay for the damages they Caused, However, when I attempted to get my money back the company Absolutely refused to acknowledge any requests, Firstly, they accepted blame, And said they knew what happened. But then very quickly backtrack and said they weren\u2019t gonna do anything to help as we got our own plumber and they were not gonna pay for it because we were meant to use theirs\u2026. After a week of back-and-forth with this company over whether or not we would get our money back for the services of the plumber we used based on the information that we were given by them, We contacted IKEA again on the matter, And were told that they stand by this company 100% and agree with them and that we\u2019re out of luck with our \u00a3425 that we had to spend in order to heat our house for our one-year-old child\u2026. I find it absolutely disgusting that a company that swears it\u2019s dedicated to its customers. is so proudly willing to stand behind one of their partners who is clearly in the wrong\u2026. I am absolutely disgusted with the behaviour of not only the companies they deal with but the customer service representative I\u2019ve been in contact with that is directly linked to IKEA\u2026 I know this review is long winded but I really do hope you take it into consideration before purchasing anything for delivery from IKEA\u2026."

“The products are great value and quality. I like the room ideas as they cover rooms of all sizes and have clever ideas, the staff are helpful and the shopping experience is relaxed and fun”

“Ikea is a deeply organised shop so I could check online where my wanted items would be and if they were in stock. I could quickly race round the shop with my list and a big trolley. The items are well packaged and boxed so it was easy to get them into my car. I could check on the website how big the packages would be so I knew they would all fit in my car. All in all a very well thought out and smooth shopping experience. Furniture was easy to put together and is sturdy and long lasting”

“We were shopping at IKEA Burbank this weekend trying to buy a sofa bed. we faced the issue with price mismatch btw actual price and the price showed in the system on it so the cashier Michael was so helpful and did his best to solve the issue along with his manager ( forgot her name) and honored the price for us. Michael was very kind, professional and very customer oriented. Thank you!”

“Purchased a bed, matress and all the slats and because it was a super King size, some sheets. When we had our delivery, we noticed that the sheets had damage to them. Telephoned IKEA customer service and they were replaced without question. Great customer service.”

“Couple of hiccups with the Norwich store service and communication and delivery was delayed; but I have just chatted with Nikita via the website and am extremely happy with the outcome. Really pleased with Ikea customer service via the chat line; if the service that I received at the Norwich store was not just an exception, the Norwich staff need more training, more prodding or something - maybe to at least show some interest in customers?”

“We bought a mattress from them and after a couple of weeks decided that it wasn't firm enough. We called them within the 90 days time frame, explained the situation and within four days they had collected the old one, and replaced with a firmer one. They were brilliant. That is customer service. No complaints whatsoever”

“Visited Coventry branch as item out of stock in Wednesbury branch but bit of a mix up when we arrived, however it was all sorted out by a member of staff by the name of Allan in the market place area of the store by checkouts, he was amazing and very helpful.”
