"\u00a3425 lost due to thieving delivery company ikea contracts\r\nHonestly, take into consideration the reviews before purchasing from IKEA ever again.\r\n\r\nI never thought to look at the reviews, As I always considered IKEA a good company\u2026.. but after my recent experience, I will never Purchase another item from IKEA.\r\n\r\nWe had wardrobes delivered by third-party company on behalf of IKEA, The company unit movements in the UK south west , Came into our home and broke our radiator due to an accident where boxes were dropped\u2026. At the time I was only given a phone number to contact and I was told by an employee of them to get my own plumber out and send them the invoice and they would pay for the damages they Caused, However, when I attempted to get my money back the company Absolutely refused to acknowledge any requests, Firstly, they accepted blame, And said they knew what happened. But then very quickly backtrack and said they weren\u2019t gonna do anything to help as we got our own plumber and they were not gonna pay for it because we were meant to use theirs\u2026. After a week of back-and-forth with this company over whether or not we would get our money back for the services of the plumber we used based on the information that we were given by them, We contacted IKEA again on the matter, And were told that they stand by this company 100% and agree with them and that we\u2019re out of luck with our \u00a3425 that we had to spend in order to heat our house for our one-year-old child\u2026. I find it absolutely disgusting that a company that swears it\u2019s dedicated to its customers. is so proudly willing to stand behind one of their partners who is clearly in the wrong\u2026. I am absolutely disgusted with the behaviour of not only the companies they deal with but the customer service representative I\u2019ve been in contact with that is directly linked to IKEA\u2026 I know this review is long winded but I really do hope you take it into consideration before purchasing anything for delivery from IKEA\u2026."

“Have a delivery date before finalising the order was kept up to date by email and text and given a 1 hour delivery window. The product I bought was wooden crates which came flat packed but were excellent quality and so easy to make up”

“I was hesitant on ordering furniture for delivery through Ikea. I read a lot of negative reviews. My best guess is that people with positive experiences rarely leave a review so here is mine: We purchased a couch, 6 stools, a floor light, and some picture frames. We we're given an estimated delivery of July 23 2017. We received an email within the week that the item had been shipped to the delivery company and to wait for a call about delivery. We received a text July 21st about the furniture being delivered the following day. The next day we got a phone call saying it would be delivered between 3 and 7 . Around 4 we got a call that the delivery would come between 5 and 30 min. The delivery arrived within 10 min. It was a smooth delivery with no issues.”

“Ikea were unrivalled for price and quality on products we ordered for a new home. The delivery time was great and was impressed with the no extra charge for sunday delivery and the delivery men brought the good which were very heavy into the desired room.”

“I had an issue with parts on a dresser and I'm sure you could imagine how unhappy a person might be in the middle of assembling furniture and forced to placing a call to customer service. The representative was wonderful, apologetic and resolved the problem. I wish every company had people that helpful.”

“We were in charge of breakfast at a rally of motor homes in Tampa. To make a break in the routine of preparing scrambled eggs and frying bacon for 30 people at the clubhouse, I checked with the food service lady a few days ahead to see if they'd accommodate us. Lorie was most accommodating. She agreed to serve the $1 special with coffee and I was to count our club members at checkout and then pay for their food. The group breakfast was a big success. Lorie had briefed the cashiers, getting the food and drink went smooth as silk and they did the counting. The bill was prepared as the last of us passed the checkout, and she had reserved a section for us to sit together. Miss Lorie made good preparations, and because the majority of attendees had never been to IKEA before, the Company was a winner as well.”

“This company offered lowest rate for pick up and delivery service. I just arrived to New York on Monday and needed last minute delivery. Sasha delivered everything and also helped build the bed. Just to let you know this is not the store! But service they offer is all I needed, because IKEA store located in Brooklyn .... too far... Thank you.”

“Visited reading store for the first time 3. 30pm Was offered help without asking in warehouse area good service at the till amazing and willing help by two men who were happy to put heavy purchases into the car.l can not praise the staff I dealt with enough so refreshing to get service with a smile .i work in retail and know how difficult this time of year can be ,well done,”
