"\u00a3425 lost due to thieving delivery company ikea contracts\r\nHonestly, take into consideration the reviews before purchasing from IKEA ever again.\r\n\r\nI never thought to look at the reviews, As I always considered IKEA a good company\u2026.. but after my recent experience, I will never Purchase another item from IKEA.\r\n\r\nWe had wardrobes delivered by third-party company on behalf of IKEA, The company unit movements in the UK south west , Came into our home and broke our radiator due to an accident where boxes were dropped\u2026. At the time I was only given a phone number to contact and I was told by an employee of them to get my own plumber out and send them the invoice and they would pay for the damages they Caused, However, when I attempted to get my money back the company Absolutely refused to acknowledge any requests, Firstly, they accepted blame, And said they knew what happened. But then very quickly backtrack and said they weren\u2019t gonna do anything to help as we got our own plumber and they were not gonna pay for it because we were meant to use theirs\u2026. After a week of back-and-forth with this company over whether or not we would get our money back for the services of the plumber we used based on the information that we were given by them, We contacted IKEA again on the matter, And were told that they stand by this company 100% and agree with them and that we\u2019re out of luck with our \u00a3425 that we had to spend in order to heat our house for our one-year-old child\u2026. I find it absolutely disgusting that a company that swears it\u2019s dedicated to its customers. is so proudly willing to stand behind one of their partners who is clearly in the wrong\u2026. I am absolutely disgusted with the behaviour of not only the companies they deal with but the customer service representative I\u2019ve been in contact with that is directly linked to IKEA\u2026 I know this review is long winded but I really do hope you take it into consideration before purchasing anything for delivery from IKEA\u2026."

“Damien in the bedroom section of Ikea's Springwood Qld store provided the BEST service. I was looking for a King bed configuration for an odd shaped room, with the potential to split it in two when young grandchildren were staying. A possibility was purchasing 2 singles and having them together when our own friends were staying, with the use of straps that Ikea stock, and covering the mattresses with one of Ikea's good mattress pads so adult guests would not realise it was 2 beds. Damien gave advice on better designs, comfort factor and costs. I then came away with lots of measurements and now plan to revisit the store to make a few purchases, including a chest of drawers. I was just so grateful for Darren's time, his knowledge, and very customer oriented personality.”

“I recently visited ikea Warrington apart from all the great stuff on display the staff were cheerful and helpful In particular Michelle on beds on 5/9/17 it was about ten minutes before closing and she went over and above for me and my family what a lovely lady”

“Well just recently I've bought with my wife a brand new kitchen to our new flat. The service was amazing, and we have used the online configurator with IKEAS assistance and banking services. It was really great to have it all in one bundle the kitchen will be assembled this week and we are thrilled to get there. What is really great is the quality of service especially the part where Ikeas co workers come over and measure everything before the purchase, I must admit that it was truly professional and saved us a lot of trouble!”

“A positive shopping experience. The store is a pleasure to walk around; the staff are helpful the goods are not over priced. I have only discovered Ikea in the last year and having heard rave reviews from all my friends, I have to say they're all true. Why pay thousands for wardrobe when you can one from Ikea that's equally as good quality and much cheaper. No brainier.”

“Ikea Smaklig induction hob. We wanted to replace a broken ceramic hob, a chip on edge of glass slowly spread across whole hob. We decided to investigate induction hobs and chose an Ikea Smaklig induction hob. We have had it for around 6 months and I have become a bore wanting to tell anyone how wonderful it is. Induction is quicker to heat up (compares well with electric kettle) and stops heating instantly when you switch off. Very much easier to clean than ceramic since hob doesn't heat up just gets warm from the saucepan. Induction hobs are expensive yet the Smaklig hob is relatively cheap causing some concern, but it has 5 year warranty and is made in Germany. The Smaklig hob has separate controls for each of the 4 heating areas unlike many more expensive hobs. Two disadvantages, you need induction compatible pans and you can become a bit of a bore - I am told this wears off after 12 months.”
