“I ordered three of these hampers as a thank you for friends. They arrived within 24 hours and they were absolutely gorgeous. I only had the normal packaging and that was beautiful. I have ordered hampers from a different website many times but will definately come back to Imp & Maker.”

“Its the 2nd time I've bought the breakfast hamper as a gift for my dad and on both occasions he has raved about the quality of them. He would give them 5 stars and when you factor in the communication for Imp & Maker from the time of purchase to delivery, I'll give them 5 stars too.”

“I looked at the many basket gifts I could send and chose to order the Italian Lovers gift basket from IMP&MAKER. I'm in the U.S. and wanted it delivered to an address outside Edinburgh Scotland. I was not sure I had the correct address (the right order) and Imp&Maker customer service responded quickly to my email and all was set to go. The delivery was on-time, smooth, and loved by my friends/recipients. Thank you!!”

“I cannot rate the contents, because the package was not delivered. Customer service is friendly but inefficient. Responses take over 24 hours, which did not allow my package to be delivered before it was returned to sender and therefore missed the event for which it was sent. A response to my request for a refund only came bout when I issued a one-star review. As I say, nice people but there is room to improve.”

Dear Pamela, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that the delivery did not go as expected. We have now investigated this with our delivery partner and confirmed that the original order was entered with an incorrect postcode, which prevented the parcel from being delivered. After our team were contacted, we updated the delivery details and requested a safe place, but unfortunately DPD did not register the updated instructions and the parcel was subsequently returned to us. While our refund policy does outline the responsibility for providing the correct delivery details, on this occasion we have offered a full refund as a gesture of goodwill. We have also raised the issue with DPD directly, as this is not the usual level of service we expect from them. We’re a small independent business and genuinely care about getting every gift where it needs to go, so we’re very sorry this one didn’t go to plan. Kind regards, Team IMP & MAKER

Thank you for taking the time to update your review, Pamela. We completely understand your frustration, particularly as the gift was intended for a special occasion and unfortunately didn’t arrive in time. We did want to clarify what happened, as we appreciate how disappointing this must have been. The original order was entered with an incorrect postcode, which meant DPD were unable to complete the initial delivery attempts. Once the recipient contacted us at with the correct address, our team updated the delivery information and safe place instructions with DPD and replied to them within 2 hours. Unfortunately, it appears DPD didn’t register the updated instructions, which ultimately led to the parcel being returned to us. We’re also sorry that our response to your follow-up email took longer than usual. We’re a small team here at IMP & MAKER and always do our best to respond as quickly as possible. We completely appreciate that this was frustrating when you were waiting for an important delivery to be resolved. Please be assured that your reviews did not prompt our reply. We genuinely care about every order, every customer and every delivery, and wanted to properly look into what had happened and find a resolution for you. Although our refund policy does outline the responsibility for providing the correct delivery details, on this occasion we offered a full refund as a gesture of goodwill. We have also fed the handling of the updated delivery instructions back to DPD, as this is not the service we expect from our delivery partner. We’re proud to have hundreds of 5-star reviews from customers who have enjoyed gifting with us. We’re genuinely sorry this was your experience and have taken your feedback on board.
