Overall private group tour was good but requisition for non dairy meal are not done on flights n hotels that are not serving buffet despite several reminders. My wife (Lay Choo Fong) was starving throughout her 10 hours return flight from Vancouver to Frankfurt and Munich. Can you withstand having only fruits and crackers on board? (Anup is your tour manager or whatever you call him) We paid for the flights and not getting meals! This is unacceptable. I insist you look into this and have it refunded back to us considering that we are booking on another private group tour to Israel with your so call esteemed company. Please please look into this matter. Do not ignore my complaints as was done before. What can you do for me? At least have the courtesy to get back to me this time which I think I fully deserved it.

Thank you (Indus) for arranging our recent travels. We returned from our Magical Douro Cruise and the Marvellous Morocco tour last weekend. We would like to offer some feedback on our travels. The cruise was excellent overall. We were very pleased with the ship, the destination and the meals. The staff were very friendly. Our room was efficient and clean. The entertainer on board was not very entertaining (I know that is not under your control). The scenery along the river is amazing. The optional excursions were satisfactory, but a little pricey, and usually involved a fairly long bus ride with not quite enough time at the destination (about half the time was the ride). The price of the cruise was a good value. We would recommend the cruise to others. We enjoyed seeing Morocco, but somehow we missed out on a day of sightseeing. The Indus itinerary has the tour participants arriving in Casablanca for the first day (day 2, April 17 - day 1 is for the overnight flight to Casablanca). There are no other details of activities for that day in your description, other than being transferred to the hotel. While we did not use your services to book our flight, as we travelled independently in Portugal after our cruise, we did arrive in Casablanca at a reasonable time (mid-afternoon) on April 17. You had advised us of a change in itinerary in advance, and that we would be staying in Fes that evening. The driver, much to our delight, did greet us at the airport and take us to Fez. It was a 4-hour drive. The next morning, we met our tour guide on the bus at 8:15. That day, we were driven from Fez to Rabat, where we had a tour of a few hours, then to Marrakech to our hotel. The total driving time that day was about 7 - 7 1/2 hours. We basically back-tracked the route from the day before from Casablanca to get to Marrakech. We are wondering why we weren't just put up in a hotel in Rabat, and the tour group could have met us there, instead of all that extra driving (Casablanca to Fes, only to sleep, and then back to Rabat and then Marrakech, passing by Casablanca. (Look up the cities on a map if you are unsure.) We asked the others on the tour, and they had visited Meknes and Fes the day before. So we missed out on this part of the tour, despite arriving on the day when the tour began. (Meknes was not in your tour description, but the village of Beni Mellal is.) Our tour guide, Moustafa (I think), from Monarch Tours, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bus driver was safe and punctual, the bus was clean and comfortable, and the size of the group (9) was a bonus! The hotels we stayed in were all excellent - very clean and spacious, with lovely grounds and excellent food. The optional Fantasia show outside of Marrakech was interesting, but we were disappointed overall. The dancers and musicians were enthusiastic as they greeted us, but there seemed to be an expectation of giving a tip for photos, which seemed unnecessary after having already paid a fairly high price for the excursion. The food was tasty, but the servers did not serve with much enthusiasm. The food was served no earlier than 9 pm,, which I feel was too late for most of us who are not used to eating so late (yes, I realize that there are cultural differences, but I believe that most of the tourists who were present do not normally eat so late). The show itself in the arena seems to have been very entertaining, but it was very dark in the arena (it began around 10 pm, and was not well-lit) and therefore it was difficult to appreciate the riding exhibitions and the belly dancing. So we would say that this show could be significantly improved if done in the daytime, when one could see and appreciate it better. We had 3 nights in Marrakech. The day after our arrival there, we had a full day with Moustafa, and saw a number of sights in this fascinating city. The next day was a full day on our own in Marrakech, and the following day, after our arrival in Casablanca (shortly after noon), we had that day to ourselves, as well as the next day to ourselves. So of our 6 days in Morocco (day 7 we flew home), there were no arranged activities/tours on 3 of the days.(I realize that the Hassan Mosque tour was cancelled, as you had informed us). We felt that we were a little shortchanged on our "tour" of Morocco. Based on what we saw (or didn't see) of Morocco, we would not recommend this particular tour. Sincerely, Sal and Catherine Badali

Indus has always been a 5-star rating until recently. We had a problem with our bank account being hacked. I tried to contact the Indus rep who set up our trip but never heard a response - even after 3 phone calls and an email. When I finally did get hold of someone 10 days later, they informed me the Rep was out on an emergency. What Indus should have done was added to the voicemail the fact the person was unavailable and offer another name and extension to contact. There was no such message and therefore, I was left to believe my calls were being ignored. This caused a problem, which could have been resolved on day one, to be left hanging longer than needed.

Our travels to Turkey are complete and overall, the tour was very good. I do however have a few comments: -I did not realize that the tour was delivered by a 3rd party company - Global Travel Services. Had I known that, I would probably have booked the tour through them and possibly avoided some of the issues I had concerns with. -The Indus website stated the initial hotel was the Point Hotel Taksim. Based on this information, we booked a non-refundable additional night at the Point Hotel. When we received final information just a few days before our tour, we discovered that the hotel was not the Point Hotel, but rather the Doubletree hotel located several miles away. This caused us an unnecessary move of hotels. -We were traveling for several weeks prior to this tour and requested the travel docs and confirmations. I appreciate that you forwarded some preliminary details, but it was another 9 days later when we received the final docs. -We were overcharged by Indus for an optional tour - Demre-Myra-Kekova at $95 per person. The tour guide was offering this optional excursion for $80. US. -We understood this to be a small group tour with an average of 22 persons. Our tour began with 29 persons for the first 4-5 days and then dropped to 23 persons. Fortunately, this happened to be a very compatible group that followed common courtesies. My trip to India and Nepal was wonderful. The guide I had in India was exceptional, his knowledge and enthusiasm for his county and culture were infectious. I felt fully emerged in the India culture because of home. As for Nepal, it was a dream of mine to be able to visit. The only negative I have is in Nepal we really didn't have a guide to provide any information about the culture. I would highly recommend this tour!

I have used Indus Travel several times and like their itinerary and they are a good value for the money. Hotels are mostly 3 stars and a few 4 stars. Indus contracts with different tour companies that actually do the tour and so far they have been good. I would like to know who they are using in advance of booking a tour so I could review the company.

When we first booked our trip we selected Delta flights with an add on price. Our trip was booked with TAP Air Portugal (not what we chose and very disappointing) and I had to argue to get a credit for the add on i paid. Indus travel was very good with hotel transfers and itinerary. Bus driver kept getting lost and your manager not very knowledgeable. Optional excursions are a ripoff and we never received vouchers which was a mess. Overall we did have a good trip and would be willing to try Indus again.

"A Taste of Portugal" Our tour guide Sophia was resourceful, fun, efficient and had a passion for her job. Every region in Portugal has its diverse attractions. If you’re after sun-kissed beaches and aquatic adventures, look to the Algarve. Lisbon, Portugal's capital is filled with cobbled alleyways, white-domed cathedrals and grand civic squares – a captivating scene crafted over centuries. Sintra i is a resort town in the foothills of Portugal’s Sintra Mountains, near the capital, Lisbon. A longtime royal sanctuary, its forested terrain is studded with pastel-colored villas and palaces. The Moorish- and Manueline-style Sintra National Palace is distinguished by dramatic twin chimneys and elaborate tilework. This is a must-experience beauty. Porto for its famous Port wine. You must see the São Francisco Church is known for its lavish baroque interior with ornate gilded carvings.. São Jorge Castle, sometimes known in English as Saint George's Castle is unique and one wonders how did mankind build such a castle in the sixteenth century. Overall a visit to Portugal is a must-see as it broadens your knowledge of how rich this country was during the sixteenth century. Indus has a great escorted tour, well organized from flight to and from your country.

Indus Travel has been a good service provider for the trip overall. Questions were answered though sometimes a bit late. All the arrangements made with their affiliates in 3 locations we visited has been quite well done. We had good time and experience on the trip as it is our first package tour. We will plan future trips with Indus.

We recently took the 10 day Egypt tour with Indus Travel and we're very pleased. We had a 5 day cruise on the Nile on the Le Fayan and thought it was a good value for the money. Our guide while on the ship was Raymon. We have been on many guided tours over the years and Raymon was by far the best guide we have had. He was very personable and informative. Would recommend this tour.

the tour was very good, the tour guide was good but he was speaking in two different languages which I didn't like it, just speak English everyone understands that. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL IS THAT INDUS NEED TO HAVE A COACH BUS WITH A TOILET, JUST LIKE GATE-1 HAS. BEFORE I BOOK MY NEXT TOUR MY FIRST QUESTION WILL IS BUS IS EQUIPPED WITH A TOILET OR NOT.
