Still waiting on refund for returned insulation

I placed a order for a addition I was doing over my garage. The price was right and shipping was reasonable considering to save me from having to drive into town to load up five bags of insulation. I received an email a little while later stating they weren’t delivering in my area and I Could drive two hours away to pick it up. That cut quite a bit into my savings but considering I have family in the area I decided to go ahead and do it. I got home with it and realized a few days later it was not the right stuff. I ordered paperfaced batting And just received regular batting. Not worth the drive back to exchange. Overall they communicated fairly well. I was kind of surprised they didn’t offer anything considering it was the wrong order and it was very inconvenient. I did tell them I would just make it work though. I respect that it’s not worth them making a delivery for smaller orders but they should state that on their website.

The price on the attic insulation was very good. The delivery was prompt. The delivery driver was courteous. The packaging, however, was filthy. I have never experienced anything so dirty. Everything that came in contact with the packaging became sooty and dirty. I went to the hardware store to compare the packages of insulation on their shelves. Packaging in the store was dusty, though not filthy.

On this particular order I had to cancel the order because when they delivered the order it was wrong in the time period that they gave me to re-deliver the order was not acceptable. The person that I spoke to was very professional and on top of things he should be recommended for good work

everything was good/fast delivery, excellent and very helpful driver/, except two broken bags - 6 dirty batts which I need to cut in half and 6 halves discard.

My order has not arrived yet this morning, so I'm writing this review a little early. My order seems to be arriving promptly and kudos for that, but; one area that might have helped me is allowing me to pick up the order myself if you shipped it locally. If you had told me it was within say- 50 miles of my location, I would gladly have picked it up myself and saved myself the $60.00 shipping charge. You offer a great service, but it certainly would have been better for me if I could have picked up the order myself. That said, since the order hasn't arrived yet this morning, I don't know where it came from. So the point may be mute for me but that added service might help someone else someday. we overpaid sales tax for a tax exempt organization but has been told it takes over 1 1/2 weeks to refund the sales tax back to us

I ordered in late December. I got word in April that is was being shipped (I had paid for delivery). For whatever reason, i had to go pickup the product as they were unable to deliver the insulation to my house (36 bags of rockwool). They were only able to ship 32 of 36 bags ordered, getting that credit took 4 phone calls/follow ups. I am still trying to get credited for delivery…

Insulation arrived ok. Fiberglas part is just fine. Facing on batts was so off center it would often not reach the joists for stapling. Paper is so thin it tears easily during installation. This product could be laid between attic joists but shouldn't try to staple it to framing. Called company to report problem, person said he would have someone call back, which they never did.

Two orders for specific product that was listed on the website. Called several days later by employee asking if another product of similar nature would be better as that was what the supplier had on hand for one order then called again a couple days later to switch the other order. Ended up canceling complete order as it was getting to confusing trying to figure amounts and measurements.

Hi Jeff, Sorry you received the Owens Corning faced material when you ordered the unfaced. Unfortunately the warehouse that delivered your order did not inform us that they had made this mistake. Therefore, they did not reschedule the redelivery of the unfaced material because we did not give them the go ahead to do so. Its a pity you did not call or email us to let us know that your order was not correct when delivered. If you had of done so we could have rectified the issue immediately and have had the correct material delivered the following day. We have also opened up an internal inquiry into the offending warehouse to find out 1. Why the incorrect material was delivered 2. Why we were not notified of the mistaken delivery 3. Why your correct material was not rescheduled for delivery immediately Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. I see the correct material is now rescheduled for delivery.

I ordered on August 23rd 2019. As I write this review on September 16th 2019. My order has yet to arrive. I was informed it would be 5 to 10 days Perhaps finding this email to review insulation4us is an indication that my order will arrive soon.

This was my first order. Fiona was very helpful. The order arrived 2 days late and 10 sheets were damaged. I filed a claim with Southeastern Freight. I haven't received a response from them.

Cons: 1. I received no call or email to schedule a delivery. I placed a order for 12 batts of R30 unfaced insulation (88 sqft) in a batt (SKU: R30-24X48in1). The order was placed on a Tuesday, by Friday I started a support chat on a the order status. The chat kept getting disconnected. Shortly after my wife calls and the delivery truck was at our house. No phone call or email letting me know a delivery time, Luckily my wife was home. 2. I got home from work to discover I received 12 batts of R30 (80sqft) W67A instead of what I purchased which was 88sqft in a batt. I'm practically missing a whole batt of insulation (12 Sheets). 3. I called customer support and a to try to get a refund on my "missing" insulation because I purchased 88sqft in batt according to the website and received 80sqft batts instead. The rep said that there were no changes to the order and that what the lot had. Hi Daniel, A refund was issued on the 12th May and a copy of your invoice emailed also. It seems that Garry your sales representative was on leave in and around the time your order was delivered. So your emails were slow to be picked up by the rest of the sales team during his time of leave. Sorry for the inconvenience. Regards Insulation4US

terrible service. Their web page had the wrong part information on it. 4 months later they have still not resolved the issue.
