“This is an update to my original 1* review, which is still quoted below. After City Link failed to show up 3 days running, I tried booking directly with myHermes - who also failed to show! So in desperation I came back to Interparcel, and while browsing the options on offer I noticed that Interparcel's own-brand offering was actually fulfilled by UPS for only pennies more than the City Link fee. UPS found us without problem on Friday, and the parcel is showing as delivered at midday today (Monday) - at last! So I know what to do in future - I will use Interparcel's own-brand service every time. Previous review: ============================================================= Booked a collection via City Link to return a package to an Amazon seller. Stayed in all Monday - nobody showed up. Went on-line and found that collection was allegedly attempted at 10:34. It wasn't. The first of many on-line chats ensued. Collection was re-arranged for Tuesday and a contact number given. By midday I was a bit concerned, so checked on-line - "collection attempted at 10:37". No it wasn't! Contacted on-line chat yet again to complain - they just disconnected me! This has happened twice so far. Tried again and was told that the collection had been re-arranged for that afternoon. After a few hours I was concerned that the web site did not show any update, so tried another chat. Seems the previous operator had lied (am I allowed to say that?) and nothing had been arranged. Third attempt at collection will now be tomorrow, but whether it actually happens or not I certainly won't be using this service again. When you're dealing with a middle-man you just don't know who is misleading who. Doesn't really matter - the effect is the same, total aggravation. Update: City Link - three strikes and you're out! Claimed that they attempted collection for the third time today - THEY DID NOT! I even checked that our entryphone system was working, and they had my mobile number this time. I feel sorry for Interparcel as the real villains are City Link, so I'm changing the title of my review. Still one star though, and would be none if the system allowed it.”

“I hate organising things. This was so easy to use and so fast. Collected within an hour of booking and delivered before 6pm the next day! Also very cheap! A pleasant easy experience!”

“I have been using Interparcel for quite a few years and the majority of the time, the system works and there are no problems. The website is easy to use, the choice of courier is generally good and the prices are reasonable. However, occasionally, when something goes wrong with a courier, the customer service isn't as good as I'd like. It's a shame, as I always recommend Interparcel to others but don't always feel valued as a customer if I have to complain.”

“They have a very easy to use website, and it's clear what choices of courier you have. My only compliant is that if the session times out, you have to fill everything in again, it doesn't remember, but then if you do it all in one go, this isn't a problem!”

“Completely reliable - Very cost effective - never had an item lost or damaged- easy to track- log on - it remembers all of your data from previous jobs so it takes very little time- I'd send the mother in law's best china --OR is that .'best send the mother in law to China !!'”

“by and large the most cost effective solution - but have had very irritating problems that won't go away - like shipping documents not arriving and having to telephone a premium line to get them etc etc they get my business, but not from loyalty - always looking for alternatives”

“I use Interparcel roughly about 10 times per month to book deliveries to customers for my cupcake business. I use the next day service from TNT express and it is very reliable and highky recommended, as is booking through Interparcel. Their prepay and customer login facility makes booking a delivery easy and fast. Thank you”

“I frequently use Interparcel to send small parcels to Uganda, and I've never had a problem. Not as cheap as Parcel Monkey, but much more reliable. Easy to use, step-by-step instructions - dunno what else to say really!”
