“I get false positive blows that make it that I have to get the breath analyzing device re calibrated which costs extra on top of the bi-weekly fee. The machine said I blew .386 and car started honking I pulled over turned the car off then waited until the device cleared and I blew again and started the car up to continue on. I called the customer service and they said nothing they could do I had to pay the recalibration fee on the next bill. That’s 86.00 on top of the 146.00 a month I already pay. This company is the horrible to have to deal with. It’s my fault for being in this position but I don’t deserve to be miss used like this company does.”

“Really dishonest…..”bait & switch”. Prior to signing on, Intoxalock agent approved a coupon I had. This discount helped me justify the higher cost, over another option. Only a partial credit was put through…..numerous calls & abiding by repeated requests to resend info, followed by me being told it would be handled prior to unit being removed. In repeated follow ups, I again was assured it would be handled…..then came the “switch”……since my account was no longer active & unit had been removed, no additional credit would be put through. Gotta love businesses who do not stand behind commitments. Along the way, there were other terrible customer service details but the point is made that this company lacks credibility & honesty.”

“It’s every other day that I blow in it , it gets to the timer and says to start the car. So I try and nothing. This device will leave you stranded. No one with customer support is of any help !”

“The device is prehistoric, the training is a joke. I want to know which politicians is putting his kids through college by allowing this organization to operate devices that are so power hungry. It's just lazy engineering in a world where government vendors take advantage of their constuiants.”

“I have had home unit and a vehicle unit. Both malfunctioned. I had my car unit for two days and it malfunctioned leaving me stranded. This happened over the weekend and no service centers were opened. Now I’m stranded at home. I do not recommend this company. I talked to three different people in customer service. One was extremely rude. I have no confidence in the Intoxalock device. Customer service cannot help you if you are stranded after hours or on weekends. The only option you have is to be towed.”

“The customer service was so rude. He ended up yelling at me because I told him the process to getting the device removed is frustrating. I told him the website is broken and he should be more understanding and he told me to go report him then. When I try to reset my password the website is broken. Screenshot below. To get it installed they will come to you but to get it removed it’s an hr and half away…”

“Horrible company. I’ve spent easily over 2 grand in towing and “lockout fees” None of which are my fault. They purposely install faulty devices and my car is “locked out” more often than not. It recently totaled my entire electrical system, and they’re still charging me. Worst mistake ever, don’t waste your money with this company. They refuse to credit my account or even acknowledge that they have essentially totaled my car. Customer support is non existent, you get routed to India and they barely comprehend what you’re saying. Also they charge you every week instead of every month as advertised.”

“I blow in it them it tells me to start the truck. I wait for the timer and turn the key and nothing happens. This happens all the time . I’ve noticed how bad my wiring is cut up from the installation and now it has fried the computer on top of my battery . It’s been nothing but issues since it was installed. I also have videos to prove it . I’d recommend you get any vehicle out of your name and serve the suspension. This thing is designed to suck your pockets dry and it causes electrical problems with your vehicle that will cost thousands !!!”

“I will tell you why people drink...Intoxalock is the reason! We have had to tow our car 4 times now due to a new battery that was replaced at BMW and the car is inoperable due to the Intoxalock system. 4 times! I do have a cheat code to get through to an AMERICAN to speak with...pick "English"...press 3 then 2 then 2...sure you will get to speak with an Indian somewhere in the world, but then you press to speak to someone that you "can understand"...had worked everytime. At least now we we get bad news, I can understand what they are saying. Intoxalock is a rip off”

“I can’t get a hold of someone in non vehicle dept! I have been trying to call and just put on hold and I leave a number to have someone call me back but no one is calling me! My son cannot get his liscense back and I can’t reach anyone in this dept! So frustrating! Please I need someone to call me back!!”

“Everytime you turn around 70$ lock out. 150$ Tow. They say 40$ a month get real. You try to tell them. Nope call Center in another country. It doesn't matter if you just drink here and there you get 1 dui your entire life end up with intoxalock They will make sure they steal as much money from each person They possibly can.”

“I can't hear it beep. So i miss the rolling retest. They don't hqve any help for someone hearing impared. And don't care. They already have robbed me out of call this money. Now om locked out. And they say to go to the service center. But they have no answer to exactly how am I supposed to get there. Their piece of junk has my truck locked out”
