It's been 2 years since I've completed to requirements, and Intoxalock has still not submitted my letter of compliance to the state so that I can get my unrestricted license back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I call and they pass me around to 5 different people who put me on hold only to eventually hang up on me.

Horrible people that have the intelligence of a squirrel. They got my name wrong on all the forms and they didn’t correct it and send out new forms and certificates for a whole additional week. I still haven’t received anything. They’ve cost me over 1200 dollars bc my car is in the tow yard waiting for a certificate for the dmv to release the vehicle. This intoxalock company is a jokes the owners need to be ashamed of themselves for the poor and incompetent service they are providing.

There customer service is absolutely terrible. It takes them literally 1 hour, while they keep you on hold to speak to a customer service representative. They drag their feet

You cannot speak to anyone in customer service. They will lockdown your car if you have a lockout and are behind a few dollars on your account. They state requirements on testing on their breathalyzer in the hopes that you will miss the hard to hear beep that requires you to blow in the device, which generates a $85.10 fee. This company is the worst , do not use their service!! Their business practices border on the illegal.9

They are one of the worst . They are so quick to answer when you actually need an installation. Once you actually have it, you can not get a hold of anyone. Device does NOT work properly and they still want you to pay the fees to get it looked at or fixed. Worst customer experience ever and even the salesman don’t help with anything. Scam !! Do NOT use them. Nothing but a headache!

Been trying to get ahold of Daniel the Intoxalock advisor that has helped out and tried to make my experience with this company a little bit easier and less complicated for we all know in America right now it's hard to find good help at a reasonable commission and hard to find good customer service for we all know without customer service say good by to customers, companies that don't care about their customers obviously just care about their greedy money and finances, especially the ones on top who enjoy their expensive homes to show off and their expensive vehicles and vacations that we all pay for, but when it comes to the Intoxalock employee they are put behind on the back burner and not treated like a valued person, now I feel that Daniel the advisor is going through some hard times and tries to help out and do what he can,but have been calling,and calling and not even a follow up call to help out like he usually did, now that assumes to me he is very ill from being overworked and underpaid, thus not able to do a quality job and perform as he should and as he has in the past, all a person that has been paying for more than 2 years,a lot of money , to help out this company with its employees rent, mortgage, insurance, car payments, groceries, phone payments,baby formula, diapers and i could go on and on , WITHOUT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICES THE COMPANY WILL NOT EXIST FOR CUSTOMERS WILL GO ELSEWHERE!!! WE NEED A COMPANY THAT CARES AND PICKS UP THEIR PHONES AND HIRES ENOUGH PEOPLE TO SERVE THE COMPANY, now take care of us out here with this out dated equipment in freezing temperatures or updated this equipment with the millions made from us!!! Easy to keep a good customer relationship if customer support is paid well and is appreciated, appreciate Daniel so he can do a good service for us, otherwise anyone, ( which now a days reads reviews from restaurants to political aspects reads reviews) will have a thought that this company is one that has problems they need to straighten out and I would not advise this company to anyone until they fix their advisors and correct customer service!!

The company leaves you on hold for an hour at a time. They never pay their vendors, so then vendors cannot calibrate/install/remove devices. They keep taking your money and billing but try to avoid refunding credits. 99% of customer service agents BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH and give you the runaround. Worst customer service EVER. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

My battery goes dead every other day the device always takes so long to get started they bill you and Bill you and Bill you for things you don't even do very complicated they bill you once every two weeks they feel you for the for the shipping they bill you for no reason that bill you for all these lockouts for no reason they bill you for whatever do not go with this company into a lot is not a good company go with anything else besides and talks a lot I've already replaced the battery and it's brand new heavy duty still doing it again they don't have their own installation company like other companies you go there and you download it pay one time fee once a month this one here uses who knows who Joe blow out of any old shop anywhere and they charge you more to do the download and there it's ridiculously they need to be their bunch of sand n****** at all they are!!!

They don’t pick up if there is an emergency. For your safety, don’t get it. For safety percussion's, don’t get it. This includes emails. It’s very frustrating and sad that you spend all that money and they can’t even keep up with the need for emergency. Always on high volume. Make it easier for them by not taking their services, go somewhere else. Waste of money, but know this, if you do stick with them, they are quick to make sure you get an email or notifications to pay them. That’s the only thing they care about, make sure you pay them for the lack of service. Thanks for nothing but taking my money.

Everything is wrong with this company. Good luck talking to a live person ! Anytime you need to speak with someone it's like pulling teeth. I was given a defected device to begin with which caused it to go all haywire on me during the summer time. Had me stranded an hour away from my home when I needed to be at work in a couple hours . This device is a joke . All they want is your money and when you do finally get someone in the phone there is no compassion or care at all. I hated my experience with intoxalock . The device more a distraction than anything helpful.

No way to talk to rep via phone, email or live chat after they get your credit card info. Live chat is a joke. They just drop you after one automated message. They put the wrong car information on the certificate of installation. Need to talk to a rep to get this corrected!!! They don't even respond to the installer

The sales people (American) were polite. After the sale it is all foreigners (from India), difficult to understand at times. Good luck getting a hold of someone. Email and chat are a waste of time. Phone wait times are extremely long. Removal of the device consisted of attempting to get a hold of someone for 4 days, 9 phone calls with hold times of 45min-1 hour. Even after removal of my device, they continued to auto draft my card!

Great customer service when you are signing up, and call center employees from India were great, but beyond horrible service when it comes time to have the device removed!!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! Over 10 combined hours trying to get an appointment scheduled. Shuffled from person to person, no response to email request for removal. Had I gotten an appointment the day I was able to through DMV the cost online said it would be $14, but after that date it jumped up to $71. When I finally got ahold of a supervisor she said there was nothing she could do to offset the additional charges, then booked my removal somewhere different than where she said. I spoke with 4 people regarding the removal and every single one of them was snippy and extremely rude. I wish I had read the reviews before choosing this company.

Problems I'm having the car won't start can't get the breathalyzer to work right my battery is always going dead it's just junk's outdated it's the worst ever don't go with intoxalock

Everything then they give a # it doesn't actually rind to anybody because u already trusted them whole program is 3 time more invasive they try to debit your account anytime time they want and use secondary business to tell u your going to jail if u question there motives I had the competitor for 6 months hassle free at less than 1/2 of the cost and no headache I put my info in the theydont scare me in fact shame on that kind of buisness

Do yourselves a favor and never in your life use this crappy company, I promise you will never find a worse service anywhere. My husband served his time, got his license back and they still didn't want to remove the device. The document issued by the MVC was sent where they authorized the removal of the device and even so they refused to accept it, they charged for one more month of service and threatened that if they removed it they could demand to have to reinstall it because the document was not valid. The calls are on average 1 to 2 hours of waiting, for people with the worst customer service attitude in the world to answer (in this case called Sarita). It seems like a charity service, even though it is the most expensive thing you can pay. Seriously save yourself a headache and look for another company, this is a scam.

The company is a scam. I had two installations on two different cars. I had two rebate coupons but they would only give me credit for one. I also got an error code sync. I called customer service and after waiting 20 minutes for a person they told me how to fix it. It happened again so I just fixed it myself. Then I got a violation 40 message. I was told I wasn’t supposed to undo the battery without having a Intoxalock rep on the phone! They wanted to charge me $75 for lockout plus the $25 from Xtreme to recalibrate!! Whenever I call there it is always a 20 minute wait on the phone to speak with someone. The call center is in India not that that has anything to do with it. Look to a different IID if you can.

The installation shop that installed the device put it in with a violation already on the device. After having the car towed back to the shop due to not having it repaired in time, they cleared the violation and the next day I received another missed retest while not in the car. I went back to the shop, they cleared the code again but I had to pay $40. The same day after having it cleared, I parked the car and didn’t drive due to it being the weekend and not working. I checked the car Sunday night and I now have another code 3 violation for missed retest. I haven’t even driven more than 10 miles which is how far it was from the installation shop to my home. So within 10 days I’ve already had 3 violations. I know how to use the device and I’ve had nothing but trouble and have to pay $75 to intoxalok plus $40 to the repair shop to clear the code. Obviously there is something wrong with the device or installation but I’m being gaslighted into thinking it’s my fault because the device can “be a pain in the ass” according to the installation shop.

The devices are big and bulky like the were created in the early 1900s. They drain your battery all year long, so you must put alternative devices to ensure battery stays charged or make sure you drive daily. Customer service is not up to par let alone just reaching someone. On top of all that, the devices are faulty. There is always an issue with the devices not working or not being able to start the car because of the device. This could be due bad wiring, bad devices, lack of communication between the devices, etc. These devices cause more harm on your car than regular wear and tear. They issue false positives tests, so be careful what you eat or drink before blowing in the device. Did I mention the ridiculous lockout fees they refuse to reverse most of the time? They charge about $100+ monthly to use on top of the bi-monthly calibrations you must get to keep you device working semi-properly. Which use to cost around $15-$20, now cost $40-$100 depending on where you go. There is no cap on what shops can charge you for calibrations, removals or installs. Some shops are charging up $500+ for removals and installs. This company is a rip off and so is the state that allows them to operate. The need to be stopped and lawsuits need to be set in place immediately.
