I order 5 items from JCPenny's. One shipped by USPS and other 4 shipped by Lasership. I had to pay 8.95 for shipping. Lasership states they delivered Sunday to our front door. We were home all day and no package on lot. JCPenny's will not do anything for 2 business day, but they take your money as soon as you order. Lasership is looking into it. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BOTH!

I have had the worst experience ever placing an online order. JC Penny has not been able to help me for 2 months. I ordered a bed in December and still there is 0 update. My order is 2022-3443-1600-2611. I need resolution on this if you lost my bed fine. Reimburse me but this is ridiculous. I need a solution. I’ve called 5 times and keep getting passed around, I’ve been sleeping on the ground for a month plus waiting for this bed. I’m tired of calling the 1800 number, I need someone who can make a decision to make this right ASAP. Please advise

I couldn’t do anything but laugh after purchasing a couple pair of paints from this store in Covington, Louisiana. I had no issue with the staff or location but after picking out two pair of paints and heading to get checked out , I gave it to the cashier to ring up. When she told me 97.00 dollars per paints I couldn’t do anything but laugh and the cashier asked me what’s so funny. All I could think about are these new owners and corporate goons they hire raising prices up without giving their employees raises. Then I think of the quality of their product and say to myself why in the hell am I’m paying this for these pants when I can get it online much cheaper or just go to Dillard’s for a better product. I would love to hear their response as to why it cost that much but I’m sure these goons will say they increased pay for the employees which I know would be a lie. I guess their product has computer chips in it also but I will be returning it as soon as I can. It’s not about the money to me but it’s time we the people take a stand against corporations and start buying online and quit overpaying these goons more money and supporting their greed.

I have placed an online order 3 times, it has been canceled. No one knows the problem. I have spoke with multiple customer service members. Today has been the absolute worst experience l called in spoke with 2 people 2nd person said I can fix this 16 minutes later I was transferred to Anta who stated I need speak with: FIT department needs to fix problems with 3 x canceled orders. They are to busy. No supervisors because she doesn't know who her supervisor is unable to take number now. After she said yes she could, then changed to no. You need to call back tomorrow. I informed her that now I was not trusting her words. You can trust or not trust my words that is your choice. Please someone review this call. Is this the expected level of customer service skills that I am to look forwardvto with JCP.

JC Penny.com is the absolute worst. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT order anything from them! It’s almost like some sort of scam and their customer service is the WORST! There’s way better options out there..

Made a purchase on 10/29/2022. Afterwards, I found out that my credit limit had been reduced from $8000.00 to $1600.00 dollars. I contacted customer service and was told if I didn’t use my card frequently enough, that my credit limit will be reduced because of inactivity. Who Knew! Was never informed of this before.

Anonymous is TOTALLY correct. They have THE worst customer service options EVER!!!!! Sent my credit card to an address I haven't lived at in 2 years. It will take 20-23 DAYS to get the new one mailed to me because of yhe holidays. In other words, people working (LOL) from home I'm sure. JC Penney leadership should be ashamed of themselves!!!! I'll be cancelling my card as soon as it arrives. IF it arrives. JCP stands for JUST CANT PERFORM!!!!!

I would do zero stars if it was a possibility. Their credit card department, and apparently the clerk who took my payment are both totally incompetent. I will be cancelling my credit card. No wonder they are close to bankrupt.

I went in on a Sunday and I didn’t look at my receipt until Tuesday, the pricing was wrong I went back and the department bed was not nice she just kept saying there was no way I was right and there was never a sign in the clothing I bought. She said they fold up all the sale signs and stick them in the back of the ones that are current, but she could not find the previous sale sign from the Sunday before there were a lot of other ones but someone threw them away. Very convenient for her called manager they did nothing but listen to her not me. I called customer service they said someone would contact me. They Never did. Watch out for what you pay at JC penny

I placed an order on 11/7/22 and when I received my order confirmation, I was told I would receive it by 11/9/22. When I didn’t receive it by that date, I checked the status. It was then moved out to 11/14/22. I finally received part of my order on 11/16/22. After checking status of the remaining order, it said I’d receive the following day on 11/17/22. I did not receive. Order is to arrive tomorrow, 11/18/22. When I called customer service, the representative told me that it’s the holidays, it’s going to take longer. Good to know for future orders. Poor experience.

Twice I have ordered from Jcpenney and they sent me the wrong product I call they want me to pay to ship it back when it was there mistake. Customer service was not helpful at all. I will not be shopping with them anymore. I ordered boots on October 21st still haven't received them. I called customer service they gave me the run around.

Although it were previously my belief, that in this day and age, delivery companies took pictures of packages that were REALLY delivered to MY “front door step,” as proclaimed. . . I proceeded on with what I knew was going to be, “one heck of a wild goose chase,” proudly sponsored and provided by none other than JCPenney . . . yes, I proceeded on, for it were REAL and TRUE my bank account was debited for the contents contained in this “Easter egg” of a package, that the delivery company must’ve just “hidden away” in my bushes, or perhaps, even better yet, secretly “tucked away” at one of my neighbors’ houses . . . Perhaps the delivery company hide it to well though, because none of my neighbors have found it either!!! Luckily for me though, the fun wasn’t over, for JCPenney also has a “maze of a way,” of getting a hold of a REAL-LIFE CSR (by chat OR phone) as there is not even an option for packages that REALLY were not even delivered OR any option to speak to a live agent!!! This did not make me fret though, for I knew (and know) my troubles . . . I mean . . . my “fun time,” is/are far from over, because, although I did eventually get through to a human CSR, he just gave me a SCRIPTED response of how sometimes the delivery company just “marks it” as already delivered, although it REALLY has not been yet, and that if it hasn’t REALLY been delivered in a few days to call back then (although JCPenney’s site informs to call the delivery company if not really delivered in 2 hours after reporting it as delivered)!?! Why would a delivery company mark something delivered, if it REALLY has not been??? Why would JCPenney actually post this absurd BS about it reporting as “delivered,” although it hasn’t been, on their site as an explanation (also proving this must be a frequent occurrence that they are aware of)??? I personally do not have the time or patience to deal with what is accurately defined as a GAME, just in order to get what I paid to be delivered to the address provided!!! Not to mention, now JCPenney is telling me to contact the delivery company, and the delivery company is telling me to contact JCPenney!!! Ridiculously UNPROFESSIONAL and INSANE!!! I personally will NEVER shop with JCPenney again, and I plan to inform anyone and everyone of such unprofessional tactics JCPenney employs and engages in!!! I have never ran into such absurdities in ANY big retail store before EVER!!!

Definitely suggest for people to NOT order anything online from JCPenny. I placed a order for a Minnie Mouse costume on the 18th of October with the confirmation stating it would be delivered on the 21st. Thank goodness I screenshot my confirmation order with number, because I never received a confirmation email. I keep checking online and it keeps saying I have no order so I called and of course all it says is order is in process. So I call to talk to a customer service representative and they assure me to wait 24hrs and still nothing. They also stated I have to wait 12 days before I can even cancel order and get a refund. Now I ordered assuming JCPenny has been around for a long time, BIG mistake. I’m currently not working and that $46 I spent was all I had to purchase my daughter a costume and sad to say that it sounds like it won’t come and I have to wait to get my money back if they even do so. This Online store is a BIG scam!!!

Very bed experience I have with costumer service. Her name is Mercedes she’s a manager in JCPenney Window treatment department rego park ny . She refused to help me out with returning idem.I went get the way mall I was done in 5min with no problem

I like JCPenny as a store. I have been shopping at JCP for decades. My goal was to support the struggling company by continuing to buy from them. Unfortunately, the delivery service JCP uses, called LaserShip, has issues following instructions. They left my package in a public lobby of a high rise building, with no office or reception facilities. Who would do that? JCP refunded my money and placed a new order for me, however, I now have to wait more days for my package to arrive. My advice, if JCP wants to compete with AMAZON, they need to find a better delivery service.

No wonder JCPenny received 1.5 stars out of 5. I ordered a shirt online on a Thursday confirming I will receive it on the following Tuesday. I know they cannot guarantee delivery dates; however, the order shows I ordered it 2 days after my order date and now the delivery date is 3 days after the date they stated. I call and ask to cancel order since it was not delivered yet but Luis tells me they can only cancel after 30 mins after your order. How can I cancel my order when it took JCPenny 2 days to show my order? I will never shop with them again and advise you all how unreliable and they are, how irresponsible they are and how they don’t seem to care about their customers time.

I have no pictures to upload because I never received my online order. I called on this issue at least 7 times! I had to request a refund twice before it was entered, then I only got a partial refund for some random amount. It wasn't even the price of the merchandise less shipping, they just made an amount up. They tell you 1-3 business days before you see it, then after 3 business days when the refund isn't there, I'd call back and the second associate tells you, "I'm not sure why you were told that, it takes 5-7 business days!" I placed the order Aug 12th and still don't have the refund! I think JC Penny intentionally shorted me in hopes that I'd over look it. When I called today the supervisor said, "Your ticket was worked yesterday, you should see your refund in 5-7 business days". My next step is to dispute it with the bank. Customer Service has been reduced to placating customers to get them off the phone, lies, then apologies! I have spent so much time on this issue and when I asked for a store credit for my troubles since she was so sorry, and she said "No". So long JC Penny! With Customer Service like this, you will soon be in the long list of retailers who have gone under.

I ordered a dining set from JCP. I called to place the order because it was for a dining set and I wanted to make sure the delivery included assembly. I was told that assembly was included. The dining set was delivered in boxes. The delivery company told me that they do not do assembly. I called JCP and they said assembly was included and they would open a case. Someone would call me within 24 hours to arrange assembly. I have called many times since then. Each time they tell me a case has been opened and someone will contact me within 24 hours. Well it has been 16 days almost 400 hours and I still have not received 1 call from JCP!!!!
