JCPenney used to be a great place to get quality items for a great price. I bought three sweaters. Two adult women medium and on XXL. The two mediums were for girls age 8 and 10. The women’s medium sweaters were so small a 5 year old would have issues and super thin, thinner than a tshirt! What good is tha sweater and the XXL was about the size of a medium and just as thin. This is the second and last time I will shop JCPenney. Sad because my memories date back to the big Christmas book that used to be mailed out in the 60s!

Please do not apply for Synchrony bank card for JCP you get a hard hit for applying then they close your card if you dont use it without notice. Only got it a few months ago didnt use it right away. My score dropped 80 points. They apparently have several complaints for various issues uncluding misleading consumers. Sucks because i have been going to jcp my whole life and have come to know the store employees. Synchriny is a digital bank abd they are the worst experience.

I have called nine times today – maybe 10 – to find out about the pictures that I took on July 21. I do not not fault the photographer in any way, because he was great, but I fault the system. I have not been able to get through to anyone in Albany or Schenectady, NY over a period of many hours today. I am having to go there personally on Monday and hoping that my pictures have not been deleted from the system because no one will answer me about whether or not my pictures will be there after eight days. It is very frustrating to be told that I will talk to a representative and then be put on a voicemail and no one calls me back. This is not the first time. So I think it’s a system failure with JCPenney.

I returned merchandise that added up to $79.00. Penney’s refunded me $29.95. I will never shop there again. That in my opinion is stealing so think hard about ever ordering anything for JCPenney !!!! Maybe that is why they are all closing

I would like to file a formal complaint regarding the behavior of a staff member at the Belk store located in Roanoke, VA (Tanglewood Mall). On July 9, 2025, at approximately 6:35 PM, I had a very unpleasant experience at Register 103 (Transaction ID: 7592, Associate ID: -012343, Store #462). The woman assisting at the Estée Lauder counter made racially insensitive remarks and argued with me for trying a product from the showcase. Instead of offering an apology, she escalated the situation by falsely accusing me of coming to the store every day, which is completely untrue. Her behavior was unprofessional and deeply upsetting, ruining what should have been a routine visit. I have been a loyal Estée Lauder customer and even made a purchase that day. However, due to the unacceptable interaction, I am now considering returning the product. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. Thank you.

If you or anyone you know have decided to have your photos taken at JcPenney’s PLEASE DO NOT! I had a session on June 6 and was expecting prints in the mails in 7-10 days. I still have not received photos and they can’t figure out shipping info. The photos were reordered and I still have to wait another 7-10 days before they are delivered. This has been a disaster it’s been over a month dealing with them. Customer service is horrible and they do not accomodate customers for anything. Please have do not give them any business.

Bought my son luggage for Christmas, went to use large suite case for his vacation and it was all torn up the zipper was broken. So I called JCPENNEYS been with them for a really long time first complaint they told me it been to long since I bought the set. If you buy things from Costco they don't even ask questions about what went wrong with the product. Won't be shopping at JCPENNEYS anymore!!🤬 Would if told them sooner but did not use large suite case till he needed it!!!

I placed an order and it kicked out my coupon. I didn't notice until I read the email later that day. I called to get it corrected and first call was disconnected after 18 minutes. I called back and the person I talked to didn't have a clue how to handle it. I can't cancel the order because you can only cancel up to 30 minutes after ordering. Now I have to wait for the order then return it to the store. Meanwhile the sale is ending tomorrow and I haven't received the order yet. I'M DONE WITH JCPENNEYS!

Cut up my cards after 52 years with my cards. Front of cards said “since 1973”. Your 1.99 billing to send me a bill was the reason. 1.99 isn’t anything anymore, but it just didn’t make sense for me to be charged to get a get charged to pay my bill. They say my wife signed up for electronic billing, which she doesn’t remember doing, and then charged 30.00 late fee on 103.00 bill, which we got reversed after a few phone calls, which you have to almost jump through hoops to get to talk to a real person.

Visited store in Overland Park, KS 7/5/25. I picked out a watch I liked. I had to go to front desk to get someone to assist me in Jewelry. I asked if they could remove links so it would properly fit. I was told that store employees were no longer allowed to do that. I would need to go to a jewelry store after purchase to get it adjusted. I walked away without a purchase. Very disappointed.

First time ordering from their online site. These are supposed to be my wedding shoes this weekend. They sent me the wrong shoes. 🙃 the label on the top is correct so I dont know how they slapped them on the wrong shoe box. Don't think I will be ordering from them again. Good thing I found the last pair in my size in a store today. (For JCP, i may have ordered as a guest so i am unsure that email will work to verify..)

I bought four pairs of men's shorts. ALL four pairs were WRONG size. JC Penneys does have a return policy. They will charge me EIGHT DOLLARS to return their mistakes. Or, I can drive 21 miles to the nearest store. Either way, it will cost me time or money to correct THEIR MISTAKE. How do these people stay in business with such HORRIBLE service. I will return the items, and get a replacement from AMAZON.

bought a couch in December, was a promotional item, didnt notice jc penny started charging interest, (paperless statements) called when I noticed, was told I (I) waited too long, even though it was a jc penny mistake! so paying interest on a promotional item after being a loyal gold card member for many years!!!!

I was 5 days after the 60 day return policy. Item was new and still had tags. Manager refused to accept return. Will not buy anything from JCP!

JC Penney’s at Arrowhead Mall, Glendale, Arizona. Not happy at all. Returned a bracket for $482.00 on May 22 3025. Their credit department said they never received my credit. A dispute has been opened but they have my bracelet and I don’t have my money. Can’t get anything resolved. I will never ever shop at Penney’s again. They lost a VERY GOOD customer.

I had Jeannine come out to show us shades. She seemed nice but was always in a hurry. My husband was on his way home but she didn’t have the time and seemed in a hurry. Had to have her come back. I showed her what I wanted since I already had some up/down shades. Again, she seemed in a hurry so I signed the contract but it wasn’t right. They came to install and they were not up/down. JC Penny won’t replace e them because she said told the client service that she said they would be more expensive. Yes, the new shades my husband wanted for our living/dinning room. I should have looked better when signing the contract but she should have listened to what I showed her I wanted. I just wasted a lot of money because everything was rushed. Be careful of what you sign because if they rush you, you won’t get what you want!!!! I should have just gone back to were I got the other shades. Shame on J C penny!!!!

I'm very unhappy with the service from this company. I feel that mistakes are made, and nothing is done to rectify the issue. Constantly hearing "we understand" does not help the situation. This is why these stores are disappearing. Good customer service good a long way
