JC Penney’s at Arrowhead Mall, Glendale, Arizona. Not happy at all. Returned a bracket for $482.00 on May 22 3025. Their credit department said they never received my credit. A dispute has been opened but they have my bracelet and I don’t have my money. Can’t get anything resolved. I will never ever shop at Penney’s again. They lost a VERY GOOD customer.

I had Jeannine come out to show us shades. She seemed nice but was always in a hurry. My husband was on his way home but she didn’t have the time and seemed in a hurry. Had to have her come back. I showed her what I wanted since I already had some up/down shades. Again, she seemed in a hurry so I signed the contract but it wasn’t right. They came to install and they were not up/down. JC Penny won’t replace e them because she said told the client service that she said they would be more expensive. Yes, the new shades my husband wanted for our living/dinning room. I should have looked better when signing the contract but she should have listened to what I showed her I wanted. I just wasted a lot of money because everything was rushed. Be careful of what you sign because if they rush you, you won’t get what you want!!!! I should have just gone back to were I got the other shades. Shame on J C penny!!!!

I'm very unhappy with the service from this company. I feel that mistakes are made, and nothing is done to rectify the issue. Constantly hearing "we understand" does not help the situation. This is why these stores are disappearing. Good customer service good a long way

They're always out of sizes in the ladies clothing amd shoe dept. The women's plus dept. has very unattractive clothing. Nobody ever, ever offers to help.

Ordered on line 18 days ago. Status is in progress. Called customer service number and of course got AI. Couldn't help me so I was transfered to a person. No help there, she gave me phone number of local store. Of course they don't open until 11am. Talked with 2 people at the store...there answer "it is in progress" . No help whatsoever and this is not the first time an order has been lost. Poor customer service..poor everything!

I went to the Moreno Valley store closer to my home to return jewelry and was told I had to go to the store of purchase in Riverside, creating a huge inconvenience for me as I was in a hurry. The excuse given was that they dont carry the items which was a lie because all JCP stores carry Bulova watches. When I got to Riverside the clerk stated that since I had a receipt and tags plus just purchased the items 2 days ago I should not have been turned away. This is bad customer service! Thank you, Olivia, at Tyler Mall for a hassle free return. I'll be shopping your store in the future! Customer service includes not inconveniencing customers for no valid reason.

I’m not going to spend another penny at JCPenney. I ordered a pair of shoes as a gift for my sister. I was so excited to present her with the gift. I opened the box and was in total disbelief. What I saw has scarred me. I received a pair of dirty, nasty, gross sandals. Small pebbles were wedged into the soles. The soles were worn down. There was muck in the footbed of each sandal. They were ripped. They were smelly. I still feel nauseous thinking about it. How could a well known department store ship that mess to a customer? I called their customer service department and I did receive a refund. I called back a day later to get the contact information for their corporate office. I just couldn’t get the image of that gross mess out of my mind. I was told they did not have an email address for the corporate office. I was offered two ten dollar rewards certificates as compensation. I declined the offer because I’m never going to shop at JCPenney again. As a customer of over thirty years, I feel sick, disappointed and angry about the negligence of this store’s quality control team, and the nonchalance of their customer service staff.

They never have anything in their stores anymore. It looks more like an outlet for returned items. Credit card services are awful. They never have anything good on your credit report.

I am a “valued” JC Penney customer who has canceled her JC Penney account. I have shopped at Penney’s for many years and have been satisfied with my transactions until now. In April, I signed onto the Synchrony Bank website to make a payment online for another account. I noticed that my JC Penney statement was also displayed and the due date was April 21st. Since I had not received that statement in the mail, and since it was past due, I made the payment immediately. I also explained that I had not received my statement in the mail, and that is how I wanted to continue receiving them. I also expressed my concern that I would be charged a late fee, even though I had not received my statement. The person helping me said that she would take care of the problem, and that I would receive my future statements mailed to me. When I went online to pay my other account, this month, I noticed what appeared to be a JC Penney statement. I had not made a purchase, so I clicked on it and found a $4.20 charge – interest on my previous balance. I called and explained the situation, but received no help from the individual who further stated that I requested on-line statements, which I did not. How am I to know that I have a statement – I received no notification that my payment was due either time. Unfortunately, I canceled my card and will no longer shop at Penney’s. Today, I went to the Westland, MI store to pay the $4.20 bill which is due on May 21, but was unable to because I did not have a JC Penney card, and I did not have a JC Penney statement ???? The statement I had came from the on-line statement that I printed. Now I ask you, how ridiculous is that? I could not pay my bill because I did not have the statement that Penney’s didn’t send me.

We paid the full amount early for the credit card bill. Opened a card with them and they kept charging fees every month without explanation. They wont waive paper incurred fees for my grandma who has is an old fashioned paper bill user. Its a matter of principle and they wont waive the $16 she incurred for paper fees which she was never notified of to ve charged every month. Never again will we shop here. Poor customer service

I went to jcpenney here in Silverdale, Washington. The cashier who checked me out was very rude and I was never felt as small as I felt as she was ringing my stuff. She never smiled. She's not a good customer service person.

Bought a gold rope necklace a few years ago with lifetime warranty. It literally broke trying to put it on the other day. I sent it in for repair ... they repaired it and just melted the broken piece back together and you can see where it was repaired. LOL. It does not even flex like normal where it was melted. BTW the same necklace on Ebay would be half the cost. They add markup just for the ability to do business with them, then do shoddy repairs.

JCP.com frequently loses orders, sends the wrong order, has no tracking, long shipping times,etc. Long story short, customer service thought they were doing me a favor by sending me a return label. What a way to make a customer feel valued!

For the second time I’ve gone to Kelly to get my hair cut full head highlights. I used to for years go to another stylist but she retired. It’s a shame because she did a really good job and the price was good too. The first time I got highlights she only put a few around my head but left it my natural the rest of the way. The cut was okay. She forced me to use an opalex conditioner for 30 seconds at $30 and I didn’t want it. Stating I did not want it. This time I scheduled an apt for the 25 of April. The cut took about 5 minutes and then she started the highlights. The color I wanted was a platinum blonde. Not yellow. She did not do the underside as much as I would normally get with the stylists I went to before. The. The color was not what I was really wanting. My bill as she rang me up she charged $10 extra for long hair. My hair was at my shoulders. I discussed this when I scheduled the apt with her. Then without asking she used olaplex I guess instead of conditioner. At a cost of $30. This time I paid $30 for the haircut. $10 for my shoulder length haircut extra $30 for the olaplex and 125 for highlights. My bill was$195. I didn’t realize she had charged the extras. I was not expecting the add ons that I didn’t ask for. I left a $25 tip. Not realizing how much my bill was already. My hair cut is uneven. My back is longer than the sides. And uneven. The side I wanted a little bit longer ended up shorter. It’s disappointing to say the least. I had explained my granddaughter was graduating college in 2 weeks. I’ve worn my hair in a bob for years. I’ve had outstanding stylists cut my bob in really creative cuts and never uneven. Unfortunately it’s in the states I used to live in. I don’t think it’s good policy to force extras on me that I did not want. Or approve Did not reach back out to her. I don’t want to have her try and even it up as my one side is way shorter than the rest. The back uneven and longer than both sides. I would feel extremely uncomfortable also having her try to put a few more foils and try to shape up the uneven bob. The stylist was polite and I had no issues about that. I just wanted a bob hair cut with highlights. Now with me stating my disappointment in my hair I would definitely feel uncomfortable trying to see what could be done. I don’t want her to be in any trouble. She just needs to stop forcing things to bring the bill higher without consent. I’m just disappointed I tipped her so much. I’m in a wheelchair so I couldn’t see the total. She was helpful to me working around the wheelchair.

I have a lot of issues with JCP. I will explain my top 2. 1. I did not receive an item ordered and in order to get a refund or credit for my item. I was told indeed to make a police report, are you kidding me??? The police would not come out for a missing package from my porch. They are actually out fighting serious crimes, like murders, drugs, kidnapping and such. They don’t have the time or the means to make a report about a missing package. 2. I went to the store to return two pair of shoes (that I did receive). I have my receipt in had of a total refund of $177.16, however I only received a partial refund of $88.58. I was told it takes up to 10 days to get a full refund. Ummm excuse me???? You took ALL my money out the second a push purchase. You took both pair of boots back at the same time and now they are telling me becoase they were two different items I have to wait to get the other part of my refund. I ordered both pair at the same time and received them banded together at the same time. Why do I have to wait for my total refund? I’m done with JCP and they wonder why stores are closing. Keeping customers money to make money should be illegal. My card it getting cut up and I’m completely done they JCP and would NEVER recommend ANYONE to shop there.

I ordered online and the garments did not fit. An $8.00 return fee is outrageous. I haven't paid a return fee from any company I've dealt with. The nearest store is 40 minutes away. This is not the JCPenney I remember and I will not be doing business with them again. From what I read, it is on its last legs. So sorry I took the chance. Should have gone to Boscov's in the first place. Lesson learned.

I bought a mattress on my JC Penney card they dropped my credit limit which hurt my credit score. I took a ring in for repair after 3 weeks (with the lifetime service plan) they called to get more information off the plan which I had with me at the time I dropped it off. I am not 8 days later so they have had over 4 weeks and still no communication on my ring. I called a couple days ago and the rep said she would have the jewelry manager call me back... no call back. I don't know why I deal with this store.

Being a credit card user customer for almost a year never missing a payment and always paying two days ahead of due date they decided to lower my credit limit (very small limit) just because. Paid it off and closed the account.

I had a terrible experience shopping on-line with JC Penny. I bought $50 worth of clothing and within 1-2 minutes I decided I did not want it and tried to cancel it. JC Penny's on-line system would not allow me to cancel it. On the screen was the message: "We're sorry, it looks like we can't cancel your item(s). If you need further assistance, please call us at 1-800-322-1189." The telephone line was closed for the evening so I called the next day. The representative said that the order could not be cancelled. She said that the customer can cancel an order within 30 minutes of checking out online. However, I tried to cancel it within 1-2 minutes and wasn't able to. Returns must be made in-person or by UPS and the customer has to pay for return shipping.
