I Paid my account in full. Received another statement with a late fee of $30.00. Payment was only two days late and at Christmas. Called to ask them to waive the late fee as a courtesy. . Would not waive - they go through Synchrony Bank which is the worse to work with. All other credit cards such as Maurice’s and Old Navy,etc will work with you. I understand if a person is late all the time they would get late charges

Will never buy at JCPenney again. They raised my interest rates to the point where I could never pay them off. Interest is added through the year and at the end of the year if the balance on your J.C. Penney card is not paid in full , they add a large amount of interest at one time. In my case over 700 dollars of interest was added onto my account. Didn’t owe them but 1,300 dollars, when they added the 700 dollars that bought my dept to them up to over 2,000 dollars and my interest rate was over 34%. Well I paid them off with a low interest loan. I destroyed my J.C. Penney credit card and I will not be shopping with them again!!

Jcp is advertising a emerald necklace by LeVian at a clearance price of 1105. I considered buying it. Hesitated and checked the web to verify the price. Found the necklace on Rue lala for 749.99. Called jcp customer service and reached the out of the country dept. The first rep just disconnected the call. I think he was Armondo. Called back and got aorlondo who I asked to transfer me to supervisor. I got put in queue and reached Fernando. He saw the item on Rue lala pretended to check for their price match guarantee and said they don't match with them. Jcp lost a customer. I stopped dealing with them for years and happened to buy something about a year ago and rekindled. I realize now why I stopped dealing with them. Poor customer service and lies about price matching. Jcp would not even match a price that went cheaper on their website for boots I had ordered but had not yet received when the price went down. So I had to reorder at the cheaper price and return the first order. Jcp u lost me again. And I hope others will check your prices before allowing you to take advantage. I want the world to know you're a liar about price match and u hire cheap help in other countries because u don't respect your customers

I bought a pair of pettite jeans on Black Friday, but I do not remember if I paid cash or credit card. When I got home the jeans were way too big. I took them back with out a problem because I had the receive with me. All i wanted was even exchanged for smaller sized and also bought other things. When I tried the pants at home it was still too big. At this point I had taken the tag off because ididn't think I was going to need the tags anymore. I tried the pants on and it was still too big. When i took it for 2nd time back to even exchange they refused to exchange the jeans. The ladies were very rude at the customer service. I left leaving the jeans with them. Bitter experice at Dover Jcpenny customer service. They refused to pull the video to hear their rude comment when I was approaching the counter.

While I liked shopping there, I applied and received a credit card. I made a simple mistake entering my routing number so I was late for the first payment. Even though I was not late again and I am not late with any other CCs ,they still cancelled the card. When I called and explained they still cancelled the card putting a negative on my credit report. Heartless and ignorant.

I bought my granddaughters each a watch before Christmas. They were not the type watches they wanted so I wanted to return them. They would not let me return them because they said I only have 10 days from the date of purchase! It took them over 7 days to receive them! I don’t do my Christmas shopping 3 days before Christmas. They should have disclosed that before I ordered them. Now I am out over $100!! I will never shop there again!!!!!! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I couldn’t understand half of what he even said.

I went up there to ask information about my ring to be clean. I had a warranty on it. The lady stated clearly like they were busy. It wasn’t a good time for them to clean the ring when I looked around only one person in JCPenney so I quietly said to her what is the best time she turned her head and looked around and didn’t respond at all I’m saying is where the customer service is lacking now is it that inflation people are not getting paid enough money to do their job anymore? I’m just asking.

Drove here ti Christmas shop from pretty far away just to receive horrible customer service. We dropped everything for it was to heavy to pack through the store. Customers saying they only own 3 carts. Then excuses that people took them to Kohls. Called the store G.M just to be placed on hold for 20 minutes . They never give us our rewards and this is an ongoing issue. Noone carescat JCP we been platinum members for to long. This locations went downhill fast the past year. We've stopped using our cards and shop elsewhere

I returned a small pair of expensive earrings. Finding a larger more expensive pair I put my SS # in but wasn't recognized. Tried 3 times. My service worker Autumn was wonderful, and I reapplied thinking my account had been inactive. Finally she called corporate. Said my husband had an account and I'm an authorized user. My concern was since reapplying that affects credit scores. Cooperate lady was rude and said she couldn't close my new application. In the end she did. We tried to exchange with my husband's social since she said he had an account, but that wasn't recognized either. I walked out with the original pair of earrings. Very poor communication and lost a big $500.00 sale. Very disappointed.

Very poor selection of mens classic dress garments. We are going into 2025 and you are using the same excuse, "it's because of the home coming event. Which was 4 months ago. It's not the brand it's your lazy and incompetent employees that are hurting your busy.

Worst customer service period. Horrible in store costumer service and when I tried to get help by contacting them the "chat" said hello my name is Shawn let review your concern. Then literally saying nothing else closed the chat saying I hope this helped. No Shawn it did NOT help.

I recently ordered items from JCPenney and received a notification that my order had been delivered. However, when I opened the package, I was shocked to find completely different items—not the ones I ordered. While the outside label had my name and shipping address, the items inside were labeled for someone in North Carolina, not Maryland. When I contacted customer service, I was told that I need to return the incorrect items in order to either get a refund or reorder the items I originally purchased. This is absolutely unacceptable. It is not my responsibility to fix JCPenney's mistake. Being forced to return someone else’s order just to get my money back or the items I paid for is both inconvenient and frustrating. This experience reflects a lack of quality control and poor handling of customer issues. I hope JCPenney reevaluates their processes to prevent such errors in the future. Customers should not have to go through this kind of hassle. I’m sharing this review to raise awareness and in the hope that JCPenney improves their operations and customer service policies.

The JCPenney credit card customer service center provided the worst customer service experience. I payed my bill and an auto payment was released. After a payment was submitted. Tryed to get the transaction reversed and the customer service representatives transferred me four times with no solution. I will close my account and never shop at JCPenney again. Seek other credit services with any other company rather than JCPenney.

The worst customer service ever! Placed and paid for an order 12/7/24. Still don't have what I purchased. Every time I call customer service, those dingbats keep telling me that the order is being delivered. OMG! What part of the order is lost don't they understand! I'm done with JCP. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldn't give a zero star.

Bought the Pink Sapphire Pendant online, it was on sale for 204. + change. When it came it wasn't even in a necklace box, just in a thin pouch & the chain was tangled. Should have taken pictures! That was unacceptable! Will never buy Jewelry from you people ever again! That...was not right! A Pendant costing that much should have been in a necklace box & not thrown in a paper thin pouch! People...I would be aware of buying any Jewelry from them! That was totally disgusting!!!

I went to you today to have a pair of earrings repair the stem broke . The clerk was very nasty and she kept telling me that the the person that could fix the earing was named James and he was in the mall and every place she sent me he was not there so I came back and I was mad and I told her I want these earrings fix and she said I work for jcpenny not these other company I don't know what was wrong with that women she was hasten or something she had an accent I was at the Florida Mall so any another clerk came she was very nice and took care of me but that other women I would fire her that lady is nasty had me going around that mall for someone name james I better not see her again

I have been a strong supporter of the White lake Jcp. Gave them a lot of my time and money through the years until now. I have been getting my hair cut and colored at the salon with Becky for over two years. I had to reschedule my apt due to a family hospital emergency. Because of this she dropped me from being a client. I find this very rude and un professional! I also would like to make it known that during the time I was a client of hers she has had to cancel on me and my husband several times last minute and not once was she on time. She was at least a half hour late or more every time. Because of this un professional employee of the salon, jcp lost my business, my husbands business and all my family and friends Business for sure.

I ordered a pair of black denim Alfred Dunner Pants from J. C. Penny's and it had a very strong smell, which I have not been able to get out. I have tried vinegar washes, numerous times. i am very disappointed that both J. C. Penny and Alfred Dunner, both well known names, would put such clothes on the market. Of course, they have been made overseas, and no telling what has been put in them. Delores Allen

My husband and I took his watch to this JCPenney in Aurora mall to get his watch crystal replaced, per their warranty. We spotted a diamond wedding band that was half price $800. I tried it on, and I loved it. We decided to go ahead and make payments for 6 months interest-free. After 2 months waiting for the watch repair and the ring to be sized, I did not receive a phone call that they were done. I drove an hour and a half from out east and requested the ring and the watch. They said they called the number, and it was disconnected. My cell phone number was right on the receipt. The ring was sitting there for a month and a half. Now they couldn't find the watch. I waited 20 minutes for the manager to come up and tell me the watch was not in. It had been 2 months, and she said it would be there within a couple more. I told her I did not live close and I would not be able to make the trip back for a couple of weeks. Irene, the store manager, pretty much started to blame me for not sending the watch directly to the warranty agency. I bought the warranty through JCPenney it should be their responsibility. She continuously argued with me. She never took responsibility for their mistake. I have an hour and a half drive to get the watch at Christmas and then another hour and a half back home. Don't ever shop at the JCPenney in Aurora mall and buy any jewelry. You will get screwed. I asked Irene for her boss's number, and she refused, go figure. She should not be a department store manager she has no people skills whatsoever. She never once accepted responsibility for their store. Don't waste your time and money. Just go to Macy's or Dillard's.
