Shocking service, car went in for a recall. It was in good health, nothing noticable wrong with it, got it back after a week (from a recall that shouldve only been a few hours) with a terrible burning smell that has never been present before, and now had a quote for £2500+ for the repair to be done on the leaking turbo, but they worked on the turbo as part of the recall visit so its obviously something they have done and they are trying to charge me stupid money just to get the car back to how it was before they even had it

If you you’re into detailing your car and have it ceramic coated, don’t take it to JCT600VW Sheffield! Even if you request them not to ‘wash’ it as I did on the online check in and see it written on the job sheet, it’s still highly likely they’ll decorate your pride and joy in swirl marks like they did to mine. My Touareg Black Edition has had more hours than I care to count being detailed by me since new. It has never been through a car wash or hand wash, ever. Despite asking to speak to the service or business manager, surprisingly neither was available when I realised it was no longer in the condition I had took it in, and I was told to email in some photos of any damage, i.e. swirl marks. Following assessment by a pro detailer and sending their quote for paint correction to the service manager, I was invited to let them have the chance sort it by “buffing” it over! Terminology which sets alarm bells off to anyone who’s into detailing! Who would trust their car back to the same people who caused the problem in the first place?!? Mind boggling! Even when the car has been back in for 11 days to sort an EGR issue, no one has been willing to discuss this issue in person. The ‘demonstrator’ Tiguan I was given was a great example of how their cars are treated as it was totally disgusting inside with photos to prove it; if that’s how they look after their own cars there’s no wonder mine now looks like it’s been washed by someone using a Brillo pad. Despite several emails to bring the issue to resolution I’ve stopped getting replies and even copying in the business manager doesn’t get a response. JCT600 VW Sheffield really don’t leave much option other than to make a formal written complaint to head office about the situation which has been born from not following a simple request; please do not wash my car. Oh, and the engine management light is back on. Again.

I’ve used this garage for a few years. I have nothing nice to say about the place. I took out an all in warranty and ended up having to pay for a Egr which I wasn’t happy about and it doesn’t say clearly at all in the terms. I have also had a knocking sound when I steer which as never gone away they have had the car 4 times to fix this problem and it’s never been fixed. Today was my last mot and the warranty runs out 25th January after 2 years of taking the warranty out. Anyway it failed on one tyre and my back one was close to not being legal. So I could have taken my car and got tyres elsewhere but agreed to pay their prices and asked for both tyres to be put on the front of my car both being new. Anyway with the warranty running out I was asked if I’d like to take another warranty which I don’t and wouldn’t advise anyone else too as it’s not worth the paper it’s written on. I also mentioned the knocking sound and asked if it was to cause me a big problem as it’s been looked at so many times would they fix this as it’s been under warranty the whole time of having it. The answer was no but I should be very grateful they never charged me to take a tyre off the back and put it on the front of my car. So now I’ve a car with a knocking sound which as never been fixed even under warranty and they won’t sort the problem out if it becomes a big problem. Also the Egr problem isn’t clear and I had to pay for this. I love Audi cars but the way I’ve been treated I’ll never purchase one again after this one or take out a warranty.

Enquired about a car salesperson was Aimee My trade in price was poor so I explained my budget. Aimed assured me that the best way was to sell my car to a company which I received a good price from and then she could do the deal at my budget. I sold my car and called her back she seamed a bit flustered and returned to say she didn't guarantee my budget as she couldn't now meet it??? Long story short I now have no car and no deal for a new car. I think I called her bluff and I asked her to play our call back to see exactly what was said as she told me 3 times she could meet my budget if I sold my car. Shambles!!!

The sales representative persistently asked me to use a loan from a financial firm with an interest rate, like a loan shark. On top of that, he said he had no other choice as if my credit score was problematic. I asked him to give me his manager's email address.he said that he was the manager and they had nothing to do .I told him to refer me to the finance company that their own company works for and I am a client of. persistently did not do that either. His attitude is not acceptable, as if I have to do what they want by bullying.I am now buying a 2019 Mercedes A series instead of the 2017 Ford Kuga with the installments in the payment plan he offered me.If this sales rep is really a manager and is behaving that way, then the employees under him are probably kicking the customer out of the showroom.

Such a disappointing experience with JCT600 in Leeds. They were quick to close the sale but then twice assured us it would be ready so we took 2 hour train journeys to collect it only to be told it wasn’t. They then promised to deliver it but didn’t. Go to a dealer who will value your custom, this really took the shine off our new car.

An absolute joke , car purchased for hard earned cash £18k. The car had only 4 months Mot which company policy states 9 months minimum on the advisory all 4 tyres adviced to monitor or replace for side wall cuts. A cracked windscreen which saying that Jct do a multi point inspection I would question this! Just on the cracked windscreen they ask to claim on our own insurance! Really! They operate a return policy which the car has been returned as this was sold against company policy and in my view a dangerous car to drive because of the tyres which again I'm no expert on tyres but have been on the advisory which tells me they need replacing and as for the sales team who clearly don't have a clue with regards to Jct procedures/ policy clearly need retraining as the whole experience of buy a car is stressful at the best of times! Going to a premium dealership and a premium brand car you would expect a premium service from a shabby run dealership in Chesterfield Derbyshire! We require a full refund of the purchase price of the car and are currently waiting!!! They operate a return policy which we have returned the car as not fit for road us because of the cars tyres! Here's to waiting for some sort of respy!

Shabby service department The service department is shocking. It was my first time with this retailer and will be the last. Incompetent, massive let down.i booked my car for service, when arrived at seat they advised me to go to VW Jct600, took my car to VW just to be told that my car wasn't booked with them. They told me that seat after sale moved to VW and my car booking is not showing on theeir system. When i sowed them my booking confirmation they then decided to take my car in for service and told me that my car will be ready in 4 to 5 hours. 45 minutes later I received a call from them advising to pick my car up as they cannot carry out service on my car. When arrived back in I were told to wait and my car has gone in for a service.when I got my car keys back I were told that air filter is not replaced as they were unable to order it from SEAT. They forgot to contact me to arrange airfilter replacement. I waited for two weeks and I had to complain to get this filter replaced. Second unnecessary trip to them due to their shabby service department.

Disgusting customer service, i walked in to jct600 Vauxhall show room, a woman sat on desk was angry just to see me, and didn’t even want to talk to me, she judged me for what I was wearing and spoke with anger, my father recently died so ive been depressed, i recommend to go somewhere else for a motability car and not this place, thank god I went to another motability place and they were fantastic and never judged me, avoid jct600 when it comes to motability cars

After spending a lot of time choosing a vehicle, i decided on purchasing from JCT600 Boston, That turned out to be the biggest regret of my life! I found the vehicle i was looking for and had a great video presentation sent out from them, I asked a few questions about the vehicle and was assured it was a great choice and it will be put through a 122 point check and delivered to my home. all sounded great. The vehicle got delivered and it all went downhill from there, within a very short space of time I noticed a noise coming from the wheel so i messaged JCT600 Boston and asked about its history and was told the old, great car owned by a family etc etc. I then decided to take it to my local VW garage as it was still under warranty, as soon as it was put on the ramp the garage said it has been involved in a collision, not only that but it has been bodged repaired with cheap aftermarket parts. I was very disappointed to find that I had been using this vehicle that VW said was "NOT FIT TO BE ON THE ROAD" to drive my young family around in. I contacted JCT600 who agreed to take the car back, the sales man was very helpful in keeping me up to date on things and I felt a bit assured that they would sort the issue out. Things were going as well as can be expected in regards to receiving a car that had been bodged repaired then signed off to say it was ok. I then got to the point to speaking to a manager to exchange the car for a lesser model of the same year with a small difference in price, i had sent the link to the car in and didn't have a reply for a day or so, i then got passed from pillar to post and by the end of it i was left without a car and it took over nearly 2 weeks to get my money back. I am still looking to purchase a car after returning the Tiguan reg plate ex19xmh 2 weeks ago and only now receiving my money back, JCT600 Boston has put me through a huge amount of stress with a lot of broken promises. I was extremely disappointed they would not do anything to help me after sending out a vehicle that was bodged back together after being involved in an collision. STAY AWAY AND AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

I purchased an approved Porsche 991 convertible. It had covered 22.5k miles from new and after 5 months of my ownership 2.5k miles - there was a mechanical failure, a bolt sheared in the engine. The after sales manager (Scott Fairhead) has not engaged with me and so far has refused to pay anything towards a the repair in contravention of Consumer Rights Act 2015. Apparently they would after 3months but not 6months. The law is 6months. I welcome his review of this to reconsider not breaking laws designed to protect the consumer. Good luck everyone. Judge a retailer by what they do when things go wrong

Land Rover Doncaster: George in sales is great. Always try’s to help and overcome challenges or issues presented by his colleagues within the hierarchy and other departments. By definition he is restricted in doing so and therefore as a customer I feel massively let down by the management, not George. My new car was damaged and dirty on handover. Sonny and George looked after me in response to this on the day however, which I appreciated. Faults have taken 6 months to rectify although this was complicated by damage also done to the car by Royal Mail and communication with Doncaster and the Land Rover approved Bodyshop in Chesterfield to get both sets of damage rectified. I have been without my car for 6 weeks from January to February waiting on works to be done and redone. This should have been 1 week. Three of those weeks my car was sat in Doncaster as they had not processed a warranty claim. Chris the sales manager lied to me and told me a warranty claim had been rejected and they couldn’t help. At this point, 2 and a half weeks in to the second time I was without my car, they had not even submitted the warranty claim. My car was left unlocked for at least 6 hours in their side car park, so accessible to the public on a Saturday! I raised a complaint 2 weeks ago via email for the Head of Business to respond to along with filling in the JCT600 website form twice. Numerous chase calls and no response. During those 6 weeks George had organised a car for me to have but I didn’t want another car for that long, I wanted my own and it should not take 6 weeks for work to be completed and rectified as was the latter issue. The car is now as it should have been the day I picked it up. Works that I wasn’t happy with have been re-done. The bodyshop are not therefore blameless at all in all of this either. I now feel more aggrieved by the sales manager lying to me, my car being left unlocked and the lack of a response or investigation by the Head of Business. Whilst George is a good guy, the list of errors and general non-interested attitude of the management would definitely put me off buying another car from them.

JCT600, Vauxhall Centre Shipley, Quayside, Shipley BD18 3ST. My wife purchased an automatic vehicle from these 18 months ago and within a month it developed a gearbox problem. When going up hill it wouldn't change gear so the car was effectively screaming the pants off, It was very embarrassing and the fuel economy was terrible. She took the car back as it came with one year's warranty. At first they said they could not find a problem so we got them to drive it up an incline. They then said it needed a software update. They returned the car back and in no time at all it was suffering with the same fault again. Took the car back, same thing, needed a software update, had this done and car returned. Then the car has exactly the same fault again. Took the car back and this time they said that there is a fault with the gearbox. However, by this time the one year warranty had expired. I stated it was an on going fault but they dismissed it, in fact they tried to make out that a low impact shunt that my wife suffered which caused a dent in the bonnet was the reason for the gearbox damage. They stated that this was a new fault, even though we had been back to them with the car for EXACTLY the same reason 3 times. They now are not interested and its resulted me going to Trading Standards and seeking advice through my solicitor. They are keen to take your money but the aftercare you get is terrible. The cost to repair would be approximately £200 and yet they just fob you of with insults and hope you go away. I don't think so !!!!! Let the battle commence and see how much it will cost them in the long run. DO NOT GO HERE, TRY A MORE PROFESSIONAL COMPANY WHO LOOKS AFTER THE CUSTOMERS INTEREST.
