“I would like to book an appointment for test drive today Tiguan or Tyron but have been informed by customer representative Derek that they don’t do test drive during the weekend only during the week. Derek was only interested in where do I live ? I did give him the address and he was keep asking me this question and questioning where do I live ? Not recommended the customer service and this person! Def needed training how to speak to customers and he didn’t do any favour for the sales department as we are serious buyers! Not a problem will go to different garage !”
“Mis-Sold Vehicle – Dishonest Sales Tactics
I recently purchased a Mercedes Benz Approved used car from JCT600 Harrogate under the impression that it had only one previous owner, as stated on the AutoTrader advert description as by the salesperson. However, after completing the purchase I started having multiple problems with the vehicle so I ran my own checks, I discovered the vehicle had multiple previous owners—far more than I was led to believe.
This kind of misleading sales tactic is completely unacceptable. Had I known the true ownership history, I would never have proceeded with the purchase. When I confronted the dealership, they were dismissive and unhelpful, refusing to take any responsibility for the misinformation.
I strongly advise anyone considering buying from here to do their own thorough checks before believing anything they are told. This experience has left me feeling deceived and out of pocket. I would not trust this dealership again!”
“My daughter’s Mini countryman was booked in for a recall to replace the EGR cooler, we booked it in at JCT 600 Mini , sticker Lane Bradford some 5 weeks ahead.
Dropped the car off on the agreed time and date and later got a call to say they didn’t have the parts and would need to be re booked in later, service at that point had been lacking .
We made our feelings known.
A few days later we got a call from Tariq the service manager, his attitude was fantastic , he arranged to collect the car and Leave a courtesy car at our convenience , all was done on time and without question , with a nice surprise thrown in.
This was proper customer service and our faith in JCT 600 was restored, this was a clear example of how a manager manages customer expectations and puts things right when the system has failed .
Well done Tariq you saved the day and are a credit to your employer .”
“Rebecca Heart and Natasha Davenport were both lovely and very professional, demonstrating with ease and simplicity their knowledge and understanding of the Audi Q2 and all times demonstrated kindness and patience taking into account my disability.
I was updated throughout the whole time making sure I was happy at all times and reassuring me nothing was too much trouble.
The girls made the reveal of my car very special and Natasha as the mobility representative is still in contact with me reassuring me that she's there if I need her and asking sure I'm enjoying my car.
Thank you so much girls for everything 💗 xx”
“Audi jct 600 at Bochum way is a dealership that rip its clients. Very unprofessional dealing were they do not fix things as they claim they do. This so accredited garage claimed to be able to fix my suspension for my Audi A7 2007 and they do a half baked cake and when I complained they asked me to bring in the car and when I did they diagnosed my vehicle with another problem and yet their technicians had claimed that they have fixed my vehicle and charged me £390 for a problem they did not resolve. My vehicle suspension is still like it was the first time I took the vehicle to them. They charged me for a service to removal of tracks and then wheel alignment that they did not conduct to my own opinion as the vehicle is still unsatisfactory. I would recommend smaller garages over them I used them once and they failed to fix my Audi and when I took it back to them they diagnosed the vehicle with another fault that they were supposed to fix initially. What a rip off on my side all they can do is sell new cars about fixing they are the worst. I don’t recommend anyone to take in their car for fixing there. Shameless brunch.”
“Very Disappointing Experience with JTC600 - Castleford Branch
I bought a brand-new KIA from JTC600 Castleford, and after less than 18 months and 28,000 miles, the car broke down. Despite paying for the best warranty package, they’re refusing to cover the repairs, claiming the clutch and flywheel aren’t included, though the warranty clearly covers the flywheel.
On top of that, I’ve been left without a courtesy car, causing me to miss work as an NHS nurse. I’ve been quoted up to £2,000 for repairs, but the cost breakdown is unclear. When I asked for documentation from previous visits, I was told there’s no record of my car being checked, despite reporting similar issues early on.
Throughout this process, the staff have been rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, offering no support at all. The lack of professionalism has been incredibly frustrating, and I am now taking further action as Kia have refused to help support me through any of the above issues.”
“I have 35 years in the motor industry manufactures side and retail. This was the worst example of customer rip off attempt, no wonder the group have lost a number of prestige franchises. Fact 3 year old VW T6.1, was a pre reg so 2.5 years of use. 17800 miles and been serviced by same dealer as part of a service plan from new. Red work identified £721.72, amber work identified £232.80. Total £954.52 plus vat. Advised would have failed mot on slight cut in front tyre, very dubious fail. However I swallowed and paid for two new front tyres. So let’s go back to red work, supposed safety critical work needs doing NOW. Air conditioning service required £149, safety critical? Brake fluid service required £80 ( less than £18k miles at less than 3 years?) rear brake discs lipped £492.72 ( less than 18k miles and amazingly the pads are ok? This does not only smack of amber work being converted to red work, it is dishonest and they know full well it is dishonest. Jack Tordoff would be ashamed to read this, they were once an honest business…. Not anymore. Avoid them”
“What an incompetent shambles these people are ....... weve had 2 brand new Audi TTs from them recently and the first was a particularly horrible experience with their curt tone and failing to respond and trying to increase the price after the car was ordered etc but worse was yet to come ....... against our better judgement on a " devil we know basis " we ordered a 2nd car, a top of the range TTS listed at £52k but soon after delivery it became obvious there was a significant fault on the transmission ........ initially they tried to ignore the problem for months and then tried to make it seem like a " regeneration " or similar problem ( but there is no such technology on TTs ) and then they told us to speak to and visit other Audi dealers etc which we did and everyone including Audi UK and Audi Technical confirmed the problem over several months in writing which we also copied to JCT600 !! ..... so after 9 months of trying to get some sense out of them we rejected the car !! ...... and now for another 19 months they have ignored everyone of our numerous further attempts to communicate with them ....... apart from an Email from their General Manager saying we were " harassing " them ....... Its been 20 months now and if this is how you want to be treated when purchasing a £52k premium brand car then carry on but personally we would not trust them to walk our dog or wash our push bikes .......”
“Please be extremely careful when purchasing a new Audi from the Boston dealership . My own experience was not a good one when at the first service the ATS garage in Boston made a video that showed Boston Audi had swapped the tyres on the new Audi and replaced them with tyres that were 7 years old and in bad condition.
It is possible that they could change any part on a new vehicle for an older part and we the unsuspecting customer would be none the wiser . The manager Mr Daniel Boyes at Boston Audi admitted this had been the case .”
“Chris mountain in parts sales was extremely helpful in sourcing parts for a damaged Audi Etron Gt ,
We sourced all parts within a week from Germany as back order in the Uk
Very impressed highly recommend”
“So easy and helpful and friendly!
From seeing the car on Sunday afternoon to buying it 24 hrs later. Lauren at Boston Lincs couldn’t have been more helpful.
Car was MOTed and just right for collection.
Would recommend and will look here first next time we are on the look out for a car!”
“Spoke to Luke at JCT600 - Bradford
“Car booked in for service under 2year warranty. Were kept informed while waiting ,and sent video of work being done with clear commentary from technician. The came back having also been cleaned and valeted.
Would highly recommend JCT600
Thanks for all the help Luke provided above and beyond”
“I booked my Audi e-tron into the Audi Sheffield branch at Meadowhead in Sheffield. I asked the person taking the booking if I was still ok to drive the vehicle as it was a yellow warning and she promised to get an engineer to phone me back to advise unfortunately nobody phoned back.
The service department was horrendous and I had to constantly phone them for an update. The repair took over 3 weeks and although the parts from Audi were provided on a goodwill nature as the repair is a known fault JCT600 charged over £2K for the labour costs.
I feel really disappointed and quite angry in the way JCT600 has dealt with the repair”
“Shocking service, car went in for a recall. It was in good health, nothing noticable wrong with it, got it back after a week (from a recall that shouldve only been a few hours) with a terrible burning smell that has never been present before, and now had a quote for £2500+ for the repair to be done on the leaking turbo, but they worked on the turbo as part of the recall visit so its obviously something they have done and they are trying to charge me stupid money just to get the car back to how it was before they even had it”
“Did a deal on a car with a chap called Alex was really nice and helpful was spot on really happy for my friend buying there new seat shes over the moon”
“We’ve just purchased a used VW Polo for my son’s first car and the complete experience was amazing. The salesman Kev was very professional, polite and very friendly and wasn’t pushy in any way in fact he was the complete opposite, he left us to have a good long look at the car and then took us for a test drive. He was very knowledgable and helpful and left us alone after the test drive to decide what we wanted to do. I’m glad say my son didn’t take much time to decide that he wanted it. The salesman said it would take a day or two to get the car ready and wow it was worth the wait the valeting team did an excellent job and I would highly recommend anyone buying a car new or second hand to make JCT600 Sheffield their first port of call. Again I can’t thank Kev the salesman enough for his help and handing the car over to my son was a brilliant experience thank you. By the way my son loves his car thank you all at JCT600 Sheffield.”
“If you you’re into detailing your car and have it ceramic coated, don’t take it to JCT600VW Sheffield! Even if you request them not to ‘wash’ it as I did on the online check in and see it written on the job sheet, it’s still highly likely they’ll decorate your pride and joy in swirl marks like they did to mine. My Touareg Black Edition has had more hours than I care to count being detailed by me since new. It has never been through a car wash or hand wash, ever. Despite asking to speak to the service or business manager, surprisingly neither was available when I realised it was no longer in the condition I had took it in, and I was told to email in some photos of any damage, i.e. swirl marks.
Following assessment by a pro detailer and sending their quote for paint correction to the service manager, I was invited to let them have the chance sort it by “buffing” it over! Terminology which sets alarm bells off to anyone who’s into detailing! Who would trust their car back to the same people who caused the problem in the first place?!? Mind boggling!
Even when the car has been back in for 11 days to sort an EGR issue, no one has been willing to discuss this issue in person. The ‘demonstrator’ Tiguan I was given was a great example of how their cars are treated as it was totally disgusting inside with photos to prove it; if that’s how they look after their own cars there’s no wonder mine now looks like it’s been washed by someone using a Brillo pad.
Despite several emails to bring the issue to resolution I’ve stopped getting replies and even copying in the business manager doesn’t get a response. JCT600 VW Sheffield really don’t leave much option other than to make a formal written complaint to head office about the situation which has been born from not following a simple request; please do not wash my car.
Oh, and the engine management light is back on. Again.”
“I’ve used this garage for a few years. I have nothing nice to say about the place. I took out an all in warranty and ended up having to pay for a Egr which I wasn’t happy about and it doesn’t say clearly at all in the terms. I have also had a knocking sound when I steer which as never gone away they have had the car 4 times to fix this problem and it’s never been fixed. Today was my last mot and the warranty runs out 25th January after 2 years of taking the warranty out. Anyway it failed on one tyre and my back one was close to not being legal. So I could have taken my car and got tyres elsewhere but agreed to pay their prices and asked for both tyres to be put on the front of my car both being new. Anyway with the warranty running out I was asked if I’d like to take another warranty which I don’t and wouldn’t advise anyone else too as it’s not worth the paper it’s written on. I also mentioned the knocking sound and asked if it was to cause me a big problem as it’s been looked at so many times would they fix this as it’s been under warranty the whole time of having it. The answer was no but I should be very grateful they never charged me to take a tyre off the back and put it on the front of my car. So now I’ve a car with a knocking sound which as never been fixed even under warranty and they won’t sort the problem out if it becomes a big problem. Also the Egr problem isn’t clear and I had to pay for this. I love Audi cars but the way I’ve been treated I’ll never purchase one again after this one or take out a warranty.”
