“I was refused the opportunity to purchase a football shirt marked at £30 as it was supposedly incorrectly marked! There was another the same price, but apparently their policy is that there must be 3 marked 'incorrectly' for them to sell at that price. I asked for a refund on my £36 purchase and while this was processing, was told to 'shut-up' by the supposed manager, 10th June 2017, Newtownabbey store. After I left some friends who were still in the store heard staff refer to me as a 'bitch.' So much for good customer service and being able to purchase an item at the marked price.”

“I think JD sports have been taken over by Sports Direct which put me off for a while as JD always had the more upmarket, pricey, well made clothing and footwear which I had bought for years. I, however needed not to have worried as it's still one of the best sports shops around and still have the well named, well made clothes etc along side the cheaper varieties so all in all they now cater for every budget. Great service and quick delivery.”

“AWFUL SERVICE NEVER SHOP HERE!!! Almost 4 weeks ago I placed an order. After 1 week I had no email saying it was received in store. I emailed customer service, they confirmed it was there. I went to the store - turns out it doesn't exist - why was this even an option on the website? I called, I emailed multiple times - no response even after several days. Where is my order and where is my money??? Finally get through to someone on Twitter, they give me no apology, said I should go to a further away store that THEY CAN'T even get in contact with, to pick up my order. Eventually I get an apology, but a very minor one. I asked for a refund 9 days ago, and I have been told today that the warehouse haven't responded. What on earth is going on???? Please don't put yourself through the stress I've been through - shop somewhere else. I've never had worse service in my life.”

“Placed an online order and paid the next day delivery charge of 11.99, placed order on Tuesday and did not receive my order until Friday. Called JD and probably spent more on the phone call than the 11.99 delivery charge, and they told me i would received a gift card for 11.99 in the mail, one week later still have not received anything. Called to my nearest JD today to be told there is a gift card in the mail. Asked what happens if i don't receive it? I was told to ring up customer service again as my local store cannot do anything for me. Why offer a service that you cannot provide, i was told that this was only possible for UK and not Ireland Deliveries. Then do not offer Next day Delivery to Irish customers and don't take their money!!”
