Jd customer services are TERRIBLE they cannot help with anything over the phone and have you fobbed off.

We purchased a gift of a sweatshirt for our grandson. I returned it and was supposed to have a larger one shipped directly to him. They created a label but never shipped it. I called customer service to inquire about it twice. The second time I had to wait on hold for 1 hour and 5 minutes before they answered. The girl said I had to go back to the store again and get a refund. I I hadn't vigilant, they would have just kept our money. They burned a bridge with me!

So we had reason to be in Atlone before Christmas & we called in to your store & bought a pair of black Converse runners for our daughter for Christmas, when she opened the box on Christmas morning turns out we got two different runners but look similar, we understand people make mistakes & it was very busy that day. I called in today and the girl was somewhat apologetic but then announced that we were charged for the wrong runners & they were €15 less so we would need to pay another €15 for the runners that we wanted in the 1st place. Needless to say I was shocked at this considering your shop made the mistake in the 1st place. Given that I traveled a 3 hour round trip to do the swap today I feel incredibly disappointed with how I am being treated as a consumer.

I will never buy from JD Sports ever again. I bought my daughter a pair of trainers for Christmas (28th November) but after she tried them on, they were too small so I tried to exchange them for a larger size. Customer services told me that it's not company policy to exchange goods and told me to return and re-buy the trainers. I bought the trainers only 5 weeks ago for £40 but if I return them now and re-buy them, I will now need to pay £80. I can't believe that just to exchange for another size, I will be charged double the price. I'm really disgusted with this shop and I will make sure I will go elsewhere in the future! There are so many other retailers e.g. ASOS, that would not treat their customers like this.

I purchased a Ladies Nike Jacket online from JD Sports for my daughter for Christmas. It arrived on time but they left the ink security tag on it. Now I have to drive 45 minutes one way to my nearest JD sports store to have it removed. Absolute stupidity. Called customer service because I feel I should be compensated in some way. I waited on the phone for 44 minutes and when someone finally picked up we somehow got disconnected. what an absolute joke. "experiencing higher than call volumes" Probably because everyone is calling in about the security being left on their Christmas items.

Your favourite line is and I quote (no longer in stock) they are quick enough to take your money but not to give it back. For 1 of the biggest sports outlet. You are shocking. Customer service needs some serious upgrades. Really shocked at this service. Would have loved to add a photo but my goods didn’t even leave the warehouse after being told it’s all in stock

Rubbish on line shopping experience Ordered on 9th December took money from my account on the 10th Still no delivery on 23rd Phoned customer service to be told out of stock When were they going to tell me?? Or perhaps just keep my money!!!!!!!!!!?

Terrible customer service. I ordered an item and it hadn't been delivered in 3 weeks when I contacted customer service they then checked and told me it had been processed wrong and were giving me a refund and to reorder the item. this item is now sold out and I cant reorder. They were never going to inform me until I contacted them, they offered no solution to the issue about when the item would be back in stock. very disappointing. would not buy from them again. also have to wait 5 days for my refund.

Absolute rubbish service. I don't know how they are still operating. My order amongst 100,s if others never arrived either. They said they had refunded MY money back into my account but it hasn't been. I feel I have been ripped off.

A disaster of a shop and customer service. After placing an order with the Galway shop for delivery to my home, the order has never arrived. A month later, I have been to the shop twice for a solution and contacted them via the website and no one is providing any solutions. I have been ripped off.

We ordered trainers in store to be delivered next day. No correspondence was sent and no trainers. Rang the help line to be told the trainers are no longer in stock 48 hrs later . Also I have to travel another six miles and 4.00 parking to get my money back . Absolute joke disgraceful behaviour will not be ordering from you again also will not be recommending J.D sports .

Order items and they never arrive, terrible customer service. Told by C/S that they will get there when the get there after already being 2 weeks late then order gets cancelled after 4 days of speaking to them.

I ordered a pair of Air max 95 from yourself costing £150, I never rcd them although hermes said they were delivered. I immediately contacted yourselves and you investigated but said oh hermes said you got them. I contracted hermes myself who confirmed this morning that they couldn't trace my parcel and it appears to have gone astray. I contacted yourselves and your answer was basically tough, if you not happy go to citizens advice bureau. I'm absolutely disgusted that I am now out of pocket by £150 and you will do nothing to help. Been waiting since Monday on a phone call from your manager also

Waited for double the delivery time for my order, for it then to be cancelled..had contacted customer services between only to be lied to and say it was out for delivery and courier holding it up. Disgraceful service/lack of customer service.

Awful service first of all my items… Awful service first of all my items were lost, jd didn’t notify me ,, I then replaced the order why still awaiting to be refunded to then for the second time follow my order up to be told it hadn’t been processed and they had issued a second refund?? Again no communication.. to again have to place the order for the third time for the order to have been put through wrong to receive duplicated items and be charged for this … absolute joke. And to be told there isn’t anything they can do as they have removed the delivery charge which one again I had to call up for the 4th time to do. Poor customer service and awful experience. 3 times and order still hasn’t come right.

If i could give a zero i would , apparently the items we ordered were delivered but they were not , they sent me a pic of another door not mine without the parcel in the picture i categorically stated no neighbours or other places,( to me only my address) So i rang them and they said an investigation would start. A few days later i get an email stating we have concluded that you received the trainers and this is now closed . And to contact my payment method to see if they will reimburse me i am lost for words what the hell just incredible you dont deliver and take our money and then expect us to try and claim it from our own payment company ie bank or credit card (shocking) i will never purchase an item from jd sports again and i will post this to as many social media sites as humanly possible you do not deserve customers you are a corporate company that makes money from scandalous behaviour taking money from people this is the truth because you could not come to a conclusion i received them because you already stated they were delivered to another address .

PSG Messi strip due to be delivered on the 23/09/2012 for my 9 year old grandson paid for next day delivery still waiting on 04/10/2021 spoke to customer services and they tell me that they will refund the £5.99 next day delivery when the order is delivered no kidding Sherlock you could not make this up. Very unprofessional. Applied for a job here twice, both times they offered me an interview but didn't bother getting back to me to arrange a date and time. First time I missed the managers call, she had left a voicemail to say could I ring her back to arrange an interview. I called her back not even 10 minutes later, she didn't answer so I rang twice again the next day and no response. Never heard from her again. Recently applied to a different store and recieved an email saying they would like to offer me a face to face interview and that the manager would be in contact 'shortly' to arrange a date and time. It's been two weeks and still haven't been contacted. Will not apply here again, beyond rude and inconsiderate.
