“I would NEVER order anything from this company! I carefully read the return information and it clearly stated returns were possible on stock items. So I ordered 2 dresses in different sizes because their sizing seemed very off. Just stock sizes from the website. I did NOT order a custom size, which is what they said was non-returnable. I received an email telling me I could not order 2 dresses and return 1 because they are made to order and to only order 1. After emails going back and forth and not being assured I could return the 1 dress if it did not fit, I cancelled the entire order and ordered FOUR dresses through Amazon and returned 3. (They couldn't even tell me who delivered the dress) this was supposed to be for my parents funeral in Arlington Cemetery Washington DC. I never had any trouble dealing with any Australian website not until today.
See, this dress I ordered shows in their website that it has return policy and only custom made sizes are not returnable
But here is the disclaimer, ONCE YOU PLACE THE ORDER, THERE IS NO WAY FOR YOU TO LEARN WHETHER IT IS RETURNABLE OR NOT
If you check my pictures below, you will see that I ordered a standard size of AU 10 only for this dress
But when I ordered it, suddenly there is a note to say IT IS NON RETURNABLE.
WHICH DID NOT APPEAR WHEN YOU ARE STILL PLACING THE ORDER AND NOT FINALISED IT YET
THE FUNNY THING IS, BASED ON THEIR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY, ANY MADE TO ORDER DRESS CANCELLED AFTER 5 days, you wont receive any monies back.
Even if it was not shipped yet!!!!
So I cancelled my order, and they are telling me now that IT IS A CUSTOM MADE DRESS!!!
When in fact they did not mention it when I ordered it.

“If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Not only did NONE of the try-on dresses work (I'm out $30 with no refund) but they keep sending me emails stating that I have not returned the dresses. I received the dresses, tried them on and returned them THE SAME DAY. Once I got the first email stating that I had not returned the dresses I responded to the email and attached the UPS drop off receipt AND a screen shot of the UPS website stating that the dresses had been returned. They emailed me back saying that they received them. And yet, they keep sending me emails stating that I have not returned the dresses. Their system is TERRIBLE. Don't put yourself through the hassle of the try-on dresses!”
“I will NOT recommend anyone buying from this site. First I orderd a dress based on my own measurment and gave them the measurements they request. They sent me a dress that was way too short. It reached my mid-thigh. It was supposed to be long. I did not get full refund and they did not make a new dress. They did not follow what they promise in there guidlines. They did agree to sell me fabric to repear the dress myself, but I had to pay for the fabric and the shipment. The coulor on the fabric they sent did not match the dress. They did not give me full refund even though their guidlines promise this. I had to argue to get anything and even then they tried to trick me out of money. So, do not buy a dress for JJ’s if you are not willing to take the chance of loosing your money. If they do any mistake you have to pay the cost.”
“I would make this review 0 stars if I could - pay close attention to their very confusing and frankly predatory return policy before shopping! If you’re online shopping for bridesmaid dresses and what to try on a few options this site is NOT for you, returns are only accepted if they’ve never been opened, tried on, etc. I’ve been trying to cancel my order before it ships now for several days and received multiple confusing emails about their policy which contradict each other, had to open a dispute with my credit card company and couldn’t find a way to get anyone on the phone to respond to my request. This company sucks and their return policy unacceptable. Would never shop here again.”
“Lovely MOB dress, tried on once, day of wedding zipper completely separated (despite the fact that it was a loose fitting dress)and could not be fixed. Had to be sewed into my dress at the last minute. Almost more distressing than the poor construction of the dress is the response I got from JJ’s House - offered me a coupon for 10% off my next purchase!!”

“I am pregnant and needed to order a bridesmaid dress. I needed to order 2 dresses so I could see which one fit my new body best. Their website clearly states they have a worry-free return policy that says you are able to make a return up to 14 days after receiving your online order. So I placed my order with 2 dresses. They emailed me and REFUSED to process my order until I pick one dress… despite their policy. I don’t have time to order a dress….return it (if it’s doesn’t fit) and order another one. This has been the worst customer service experience. I am still in shock. Do not shop here.”
“The dress on the website is beautiful. I ordered a size 16; knowing it would be large but I would deal with alterations. When the dress arrived it was poorly packaged; very wrinkled and I must say, very poor quality. The zipper does not lay down on the dress properly. As I said, the dress on the website is beautiful; but, you get what you pay for and I did. I took the dress to the thrift shop. Also, JJ offered me a 40% refund which I thought was a nice gesture; but, again, I had to start looking for another dress. I do not recommend JJsHouse Clothing.”

I purchased two dresses that did not work for an event. I followed the directions on their website to process a refund. Now JJ‘sHouse is telling me they’ve only received one of the two dresses that I purchased and returned! As a result, I will be receiving a partial refund. They are a total scam and do not grant refunds. Do not give them your business.”
