I am still trying to find a scewdriver that will work on the screws in my Fitbit 5. The one you sent with the kit didn't work. I also bought a screwdriver set from IFIXIT but not one works on the Fitbit! I am close to giving up on the Fitbit.

I sent in my SONY wireless headphones because of an issue with my left side cutting out. I explained this clearly to the Tech. I received notice that they wanted to replace the Bluetooth circuit board and I agreed. When I got the headset back I still had the same issue but the Bluetooth connection was much stronger. When I contacted the Tech about the issue still being there and asked if they wanted me to send it in again, to which I was told they didn't have a computer to use to test wired connections and so I let it pass. I picked up a set of Razor Blackshark wired headphones and now use the SONY's for wireless only. I can't give higher than a 3 for this because the issue I sent it in for wasn't addressed, but the service that was done was completed well and the communication was active and professional. So on that note I was happy with the repair.

Over time I have owned 3 Beats X Bluetooth headphones where the battery has gone bad. I watch the you tube video and thought that while not an easy replacement it wasn’t beyond my capabilities. I bought 3 replacement batteries. The disassembly wasn’t bad but trying to get the new batteries to work has proved to be an exercise in futility. The soldering is very fiddly. I got one set to light up but it still won’t work. I suspect user error on my part. I’m sure the batteries work well and they were delivered as advertised, it’s clearly that the replacement is beyond my capabilities. I would only advise someone skilled in working with small electronics to attempt the replacement. I wish there was someone I could pay to do it for me, although the associated costs likely make this uneconomic.

Thanks for the feedback, David. We are happy that we were able to get you the parts you need so you can do the repair yourself. Sorry, we no longer repair these. As you said it would cost more for us to repair them than they cost to buy them in working condition.
Everything went fine with sending my watch in, the repair and getting it back. The communication was back and forth was very good. That all went away when I had a question about the new battery length. Frankly, the new one is no better than the old one. When I questioned it, I got nothing back except another automatic postage email. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for this. Could not find a phone # to call.

I really liked Joe’s GE when I used them several years ago for a wiring issue on my headphones. So, when I needed new padding on a different pair, I forked out the $45 to ship and get them changed out because I didn’t want to do it myself. Well, unfortunately, after hardly a day of using them, the padding has begun to come off. Every time I use them, I have to press to make sure they adhere back to each other, or they will pop off when I’m using them. Yesterday, they were completely off the headphone itself when I opened my headphone case and I noticed there was a small piece where they must click into the headphone themselves that was completely fragmented off (video) It’s safe to say I’m very disappointed and will not be using their services again, at least for this issue.

I thought it was a good process, there was good communication throughout the repair and delivery of my headphones. The only problem I had was that my what I thought was an issue wasn’t repaired and instead got an unnecessary repair. My beats have now snapped on the right side which is where I was worried to begin with and also mentioned in the repair form.

Unfortunately, I have never received my package from USPS - shows it still located in WA state. Having never received my product back, I don't know if it was fixed or not....so no good or bad rating for Joe's work.

Had Earpads replaced on 2 pairs of bose. The ear pads are great! And are like new. The 2 negitive things - my wired headphones, the wire plug in the headphone came back loose causing sound to drop out of both headphones. (Does the same with multiple different cables, and it is the same and not the cables) - my noise cancelling ones were having an issue with canceling the noise beforehand, they said there was nothing wrong with them. But there is a difference between my set and a set that does cancel noise properly. It shouldnt amplify small sounds like scratching frabic.

The work was great and the BeatsX are working fine. The return mail was a little slow and I do not think we should have to pay extra to get it back sooner, beyond that happy with the transaction.

Fairly easy process for shipping, glad they have FitBit repairs, that's rare to find.... but, I wish they would've warned me that my formerly water-resistant band was no longer water-resistant. ANNNND they don't cover water damage post repair.... So I basically flushed $70 down the toilet. The husband thought his iPad repair was nice but expensive.... probably should have done a refurbished screen instead of a new one.

The fix was perfect! Works like a charm. I was disappointed that the cost for the fix was twice what the estimated amount was that I had received as a quote prior to my mailing my headphones in.

quality repair , quick turn around.....but I got pegged for a large amount of unexpected duty fees because they listed the value of the device....was choked to say the least to which I got a "were sorry about that" apology but NO offer to help with the expense they incurred me....at the end of the day would have been cheaper to buy a brand new tracker

The reason I say acceptable is because shipping was very speedy, but the product, Beats by Dre Studio 3 Wireless Inside Internal Plastic Panel on the right side blue, didn’t come with some key pieces, some brass threaded inserts that keep the headphones together.
