Hi, I order 2 agapanthus blue storm and wanted them mailed. I then changed to click and collect as you were experiencing a large volume of orders. All of this went well and service was good. However, for the same price I received 2 vastly different size of agapanthus! I asked when in the store if the larger one was available for my second plant but was told no, as I had paid online I assumed that the price was different. One plant was a quarter the size of the other. When I checked my bank details I see I was charged the same price for both. I am not happy with that.

Packaging is a bit poor. Two trees packaged together resulted in one pot abrading the trunk of the other tree quite badly. One tree was also bone dry and had two (small) broken branches. Also a substitution was made without prior notification.

I placed my order on line. The click and collect desk was not manned when I called to the store to collect my plants and I had trouble getting a staff member to help me. The foxglove colour I order was not available. I took the alternate plants offered but would have expected to be advised by e mail that the exact plant I requested was not available. I am not sure if I would use the service again.

The plants were delivered in good condition even it it was a long wait before they were despatched. I was a little disappointed in the size of the plants. They were all very small.

Hi Carol thanks for your review. The pot size is listed on the product description pages. They are still very young plants straight from the nursery. Don't worry - they may look small now but they will grow!

Delivered as promised, normal plants, cannot comment further until I see them grow and bud????

The ordering process and delivery was very good. The tree delivered was a little disappointing in size and form for the price of Euro 89 plus delivery one might expect a more robust specimen with more branches.

Hi John, Your Cornus Cappucino is a very new plant. There are no robust specimens yet of this plant as it is so new. Your plant is of one of just 6 specimens in all of Ireland and the first production of this plant in Europe. I hope it does really well in your garden and gives years and years of pleasure. You have a very rare tree in your garden now.

TWO BOXES ARRIVED 11 RUDBECKIA PACKED TOO TIGHTLY SO A LOT OF GREEN FRESH LEAVES BADLY DAMAGED.. 6 EURPHOBIAS FAR TOO SMALL TO BE SOLD SO BINNED 1 TREE ARRIVED THE NAME NOW ESCAPES ME BUT THE BRANCHES LOOKED VERY WOODY ALMOST DEAD LIKE AND NO SIGN OF SPROUTING BUDS SO WILL WAIT AND SEE.... HOPEFULLY THE TREE WILL SPROUT... IF NOT I WILL BE IN TOUCH... SO DISAPPOINTING OVERALL.... TROUBLE IS THE PICTURES SHOWN ON YOUR WEBSITE ARE VERY DIFFERENT IN SIZE AND HEIGHT WHEN THE GOODS ARRIVE...IN A ONE ACRE GARDEN DIVIDED INTO FOUR SECTIONS SMALL PLANTS ARE LOST...

small plants grow into big plants once they are not in a bin! Plants have to be packed tightly so they do not move in the box. They always recover very quickly. Your rudbeckia will be nearly 5 ft high by summer. Your tree is a Vitex which is still dormant but will soon sprout into lively foliage and flowers. The website pictures are to show what the plant will be like, but plants go dormant in winter so it is not possible to show them in a dormant state really! Much better to see what they will become in the summer. Gardeners need to be patient.

Order came with no flowers in bloom - all heavily pruned back. Some have started to bud - some have not. Would have preferred if the plants were in flower like the photos online - or at least in bud. Staff member I spoke to, Oliver, was very nice & helpful.

Hi Maedbh, thanks for the review. The photos are to show what the flowers will be like in the summertime so you can look forward to a lovely display of blooms in July/August :)

I thought the plants were a bit small for the prices, particularly the conifers... Otherwise good quick delivery

Thanks Damian, They should have been 60-80cm as advertised

Great service, however my order was short two plants, with absolutely no explanation of why this was the case. The dispatched order sheet did not reflect the missing plants either. I was however correctly refunded the 13 euros through paypal.

Hi Dermot, apologies, you should have been contacted to be advised of the shortage. Sincere apologies for this oversight.

The delivery came within the allotted timeframe. However the packaging/delivery method was not good. I bought two plants and they were both stored in a horizontal box with no real effort made to secure them. Soil had come out of both of them and one of the flowers was broken.

I tried a few times to make my order online but could not do so. What i will say is when i called your garden center to explain i was trying to make an order online, the gentleman on the other end of the phone was excellent. We took my order and i received it within a day. So thank you very much, and i look forward to ordering from you again soon. Kind regards Tracey

Hi Tracey, sorry you had a technical proble with ordering, but glad it got sorted all right.

The plants that I ordered were poorly packaged - they had been with a courier for too long and the soil was mainly out to the pot and the plants were not in great condition. Hopefully they will survive! Thanks

Hi Catherine, I tracked your order and see that the courier could not reach you by phone for 4 days to effect delivery.. The plants are dormant at present so should have come to no harm in that time.

normally packing very good but in this case 2 lemon trees were packed upside down to one another so obviously one was going to get damaged....and it did.....also meant soil went all over the place when parcel was opened. No need for the trees to be packed like that.

HI Deirdre, Sorry to hear that your trees received some rough handling during transport. Great care was taken to wrap each pot tightly in plastic so no soil came out and the trees are laid like that on purpose to balance the weight correctly in the "lay flat" box. The plants are taped tightly into the box to ensure that they do not move about. The box must have been put on its end to cause some soil to come loose. Please can you send a photo of the damage to the plants and we will rectify the problem for you.

Not happy with one plant out of 6. I did not order 4 m bamboo. I selected 2 m one for a reason. And it seems to look like a left over plant too. rest of the order was grand.

Hi Dorota, apologies, we thought it would be good to send a larger plant than you ordered for the same price! however we can happily collect it and send a smaller one .

My order was not complete so its disappointing that i am expected to pay postage if i choose to purchase the out of stock plant. regards Michael

Hi Michael. We did refund you for the out of stock plant but we did have to charge postage & packing for the other 8 plants we delivered.

The order came in two parts. The large tree was very well packaged but the smaller items that came a few days later were too loosely packed and a lot of the compost had come out of the pots. I don't think that there was any damage done to the plants but it was a mess. However I would order again.

A smooth easy to navigate purchase, this is what online shopping should be. The goods arrived two days later. Great service and a good selection online.

I was happy with the quality of the plants that arrived but there were only half the number I had ordered. There was supposed to be 10 spinach plants, I got six. Instead of 12 purple broccoli, I got six and the same for the lettuce.
