The products that i ordered were a little disappointing. For the price charged i expected good quality.

Received Hose on line.it was delivered within a few days .very happy with same.I found your telephone communication s poor.Iwould like to be put through to a person who could talk to me about hose before ordering same

ALL THE PLANTS ARRIVED IN GOOD CONDITION. HOWEVER SOME WERE VERY SMALL INDEED AND I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THEM HAD I SEEN THEM IN THE SHOP.

My delivery came fast and all products were there, only 2 of the 4 plastic pots have cracks in them which I think could have been avoided by better wrapping. Overal I'm happy with my delivery and glad there is a company that delivers materials for my Orchids!

The Salvia I received was badly pot-bound. The Peruvian Lily in 4.5litre pot looked like it was moved from a smaller pot that day and was not worth 14euro. The rest of the plan were ok.

Hi, thanks for your review. I can assure you that the Peruvian Lily was not transplanted at all, these are the pots they arrive in from the nursery. If there is any damage done to the Salvia please let me know :) Katie

Dear Sir or Madam, I ordered a Dicksonia Antarctica in a 1 LT POT USING PAYPAL. The next day i ordered a second one and was not charged a delivery charge. I did receive a delivery two days later but I only received one of the two plants. I got on to you and you did mail the second one but the size was very small, I was really disappointed by the size of the second one. I did order a Dicksonia artartica from a web site in England about a year ago for about the same price but it was twice the size of your ones. I said I would try and keep in money in Ireland ...

Thank you for your review. Your orders were processed seperately as the first one was dispatched already by the time the second order arrived. Unfortunately the next one was from a new batch that was a bit smaller than the other one by a just few leaves. It wont be long catching up.

Excellent quality products,good variety of products,excellent packaging for awkward and difficult to post items and fairly reasonable prices.Only let down of the online shopping experience was the increasingly long dispatch time.Recently every order has taken longer with the last taking 9 days to dispatch to between two points in a tiny country like Ireland.These delays might make people look elsewhere even to the UK where most orders would be dispatched within 24 hours for basically the same price.

We visited Johnstown garden centre in early July 16 and we were impressed from the moment we arrived. Everything from the facility itself to the quality and range of the products on show. However as we were traveling with a baby we decided to make note of items we liked and would buy them from the centres online system which is heavily advertised around the store. So we went home and opened the the site only to find that the range available online is minimal compared to what is in the store so most of what we wanted wasn't there. But we did place an order for some shrubs etc. We got an automated reply thanking us for our order and then heard nothing else for over a week. When I chased it up I got 2 different replays from the same person telling me that the order will arrive tomorrow and then a short time later telling me it went out the previous week and I was not there to receive it. I was even sent a copy of the tracking document but this tracker was for an order for someone in England. In short it took 2 weeks to get my order and made to feel like my business didn't matter hence the 3 star rating. So in store business well recommended but online business in 10 years behind the times

Hi Ray thank you for your comments, that was my mistake in the email I accidentally sent the wrong email to the wrong address. Sincere apologies for that. Delivery can take up to 10 days so that is probably why you didn't receive any contact for 7 days. Apologies again and we will take your comments on board.

Process of ordering & paying online was very user friendly & efficient. Received part of my order within 48hrs but have stil not received the bulk gravel I ordered. Expected it within 3 to 4 working days but still nothing. Have called & was told it was a supplier issue & I should receive the product within the next 2 days. Disappointed with the delay but it appears to be a supplier issue & not Johnstown GC. It would have been nice to have been informed of the issue however as it appears the garden centre was aware of it!!

Hi David, thank you for your comments and rest assured we were not aware of the delay. We were just informed today that the quarry had a large backlog so they were delayed in getting several orders out. Apologies again do let me know when your gravel arrives. It should be there today.
