I did not sign up with Sequence…EVER! I did read thru their email that came to me under the WW heading. It read “Do you qualify?” In order to see if you qualify for the weight loss injections, you do have to put in your credit card #. After reading thru I realized I did not qualify so I backed out my CC. At no time did I agree to their Sequence program!! After being out of town for couple months, hubbs and I were going thru our CC charges and noted $47.19 charged on 2/22, then $99 on 3/22 (all while we were still out of town)! I had joined WW for $12 a month for a yr 12/25/23. What I found out after calling the number listed on my billing, Sequence had in fact “captured” my CC # and made me a “core” member of Sequence!! I was trying to follow WW but had no intention of using Sequence! Certainly not at $99 a month!! After calling Sequence and complaining to a very nice lady in the “resolution” dept., she gave me a website to go to to try to dispute these charges. I had to argue that calling the resolution center should be adequate to resolve and receive a refund for something I never signed up for. So finally she was able to cancel my membership and refund the $99. I was then told the $47.19 charge in Feb. was for a consultation. I NEVER had a consultation!! So for that charge, she had to send the request for a refund to a review board. I will hear back in 3/5 days via phone call. I will complain to my CC company if that money is not refunded! All I can say is BEWARE!! WW has contracted with Sequence to provide a clinician service. That should be a good thing for some people….but Sequence is taking advantage of WW clients and signing them up for Sequence even if clients did not agree to the membership. Sequence is giving WW a bad name!! Plus in order to give me my refund, I was cancelled as a WW member!! I was enjoying the app at $12 a month!! DO I DARE RESIGN WITH WW?? Will Sequence “grab me” and attempt to make me a “ Core” member? IT’S RISKY!! WATCH YOUR BILLING!!

Biggest fraud ever. The “Care Team” is a joke and you can’t speak with them on the phone. They prescribe medications that’s aren’t available and send you text messages saying that they understand there are shortages but they can check other pharmacies. The “checking” never occurs in the same billing cycle forcing you to pay another month for empty promises. I have a serious disdain for companies like this. Save your money and time. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

If you don’t have $1,000a month to buy the drugs, don’t bother joining. They “care team” gives you canned responses, don’t want to speak by phone. Essentially a waste of money in every way. I’ll pay the $85 for 3 months because I have to. Don’t do it. Try Noom it works.

I wish I had read the negative reviews for this company before I started with them. I do NOT recommend this service. They were NOT helpful when I was having issues with my pharmacy to get the weight loss medication that I needed. They do NOT have a live person that you can talk to, it is ONLY messaging. I filed a formal complaint with the company concerning the lack of customer service then within 24 hours, I received a message from my "care team" that they were cancelling my membership. I messaged them back that I did not request that my membership be cancelled but all got back was that because I had filed a complaint, I would no longer be allowed to be a member. This service does NOT supply the medication, the provider simply sends the prescription to the pharmacy. I would recommend that anyone considering a service like this to not use Sequence.

Horrible online weight loss Rx group. Endless delays while they charge my credit card another $99 bucks. I wasted $250 bucks on this group. They always wanted “one more thing” or “that picture of your scale and your feet is not acceptable-we can’t see all ten toes or it’s a little blurry or it’s too dark or it’s too bright or……”. They ask the same question over and over even when I have already answered it in my previous reply which means they are not reading my e-mail reply’s to them. Avoid these people at all costs.

It was easy to get the script for a glp-1, but my concierge team didn't try to advocate for me. Instead of partnering with my insurance to see what specific meds were on their preferred list, they just submitted three prior authorizations for random drugs and then said I should just use metformin (which is contraindicated for me). It's a 3 month commitment with no guarantee of medication - total waste of money!

Biggest joke ever. Made sure my insurance covered Glps which it does they told it did not and I did not qualify and they pushed two pills canceled right away.

I'm rating sequence a zero. I'm out $133. They did nothing. In the month i was a member, i never even started a diet. Apparently, they were supposed to send me a code to get on the WW app, never got it. And they won't return my money. If you want meds, go to your primary care physician. Waste of time and money.

Do not use sequence. If you don’t have diabetes you will pay out of pocket price for the medication, you have to pick it up at the pharmacy and they charge you a monthly fee for their services. There are BETTER programs skip this one.

Just don’t even try. You will literally get nowhere here. Three weeks in and no medication that my insurance approved is available and then they push the medication where you will pay $500 + for per month. This company is getting rich fast by ripping off people. If a person can’t get the medications they joined for due to not being available, then they should be able to cancel before the trial month ends but they strap you in for three months of free money for a company that cannot fulfill anything.

I realize that this is a company in a start-up situation--the phone system was overloaded; one had did not know what the other was doing; I had an appointment with a doctor and she never showed up... But the worse is that they are not set up to handle people who have government coverage--state, local, or federal. So even though my NJ SHBP plan would cover Monjaro as a Tier 2 medicine for $27 a month, Sequence was not permitted to write the perscription. Who needs that.

Like others have said, it seems to be their policy to drag out the drug pre-approval as long as possible so that you keep paying and eventually find out the drugs are not covered. My experience was a total fiasco, with them first telling me that my insurance company did not find record of me. They asked me to contact the ins. co., which I did, and they easily found my policy with the exact same information Sequence had. Then they told me the company declined to cover the first med they tried. Then they went on to the second one and came back to tell me that since they are out of network, no pre-approval is possible from my HMO. So, why did it take three tries to find that out? When I look at my insurance records online, there is no record at all of them even filing a pre-approval. I think this is a scam unless you are diabetic or have serious health issues. Don't get your hopes up. I wasted several weeks for nothing.

I agree that this is a scam. They lead you to believe that you qualify for a GLP-1 to get you to pay, then jerk you around for a month as you send copies of everything and then tell you that your insurance probably won’t pay for the GLP-1, but hey, we can send you some pills. It was a slow process, and after one month I tried to cancel, asked for refund, no dice, had to pay for 3 months for NOTHING. I always had a lot of respect for Weight Watchers. No Wonder Oprah stepped down.

There are many flaws with this program. Not only are the meds overly expensive with most insurers, but they are out of stock. Sequence offers scripts for meds that are not obtainable due to price and shortage. Even the core medications they offer are now on a back order/ shortage. What’s the point? Sequence cannot fulfill their end of the contract. I will be reporting. The service is very slow to respond. They spend the first 4 weeks you pay for just authorizing meds. The dietitian and exercise and WW membership come much later - week 3 or 4? It’s ridiculous.

I too wish I had read the reviews before signing up. The only thing that I can say good about the Sequence/Weight Watchers experience was that the clinician said I would be refunded my $49. I like others, did the thing to see if I qualified and I did. At no time did anything say if you’d rather not take a glp-1 that you should not proceed. I read that other types of medications are covered as part of the membership. The process to sign up was long and I uploaded my labs which I regret not. I don’t want a company who treated me like I was treated today to have any information about me yet now this scam of a company has all my information and history. I put the medications I am on in the information and not once was anyone kind and real enough to say, if you’re on this were not going to do anything for you. I had my video appointment today and it lasted less than 8 minutes. The clinician was very cold and made me feel like I was bothering her. As soon as I mentioned having tried Ozempic samples and that they didn’t work nor did I like how unwell it made me feel she got worse. I told her I knew my insurance wouldn’t cover any weight loss medications (which is why I was excited about this program). What I was hoping for and was reassured after going through the “lessons” was totally possible. The clinician made me very uncomfortable to the point I didn’t even want to look in her direction. She didn’t smile or even try to be pleasant. If I went to her as a regular doctor, I would switch immediately. She may as well have just said, I am in this to only push glp-1 medications to make money. She immediately told me “with my history” I didn’t qualify for any of the oral meds and how ineffective Metformin is. She said I didn’t qualify to try Bupropion/Naltrexone because I was already on Buproprion. Now what kind of sense does that make?? I wanted to be sure of what she was saying so I said so…I can’t get anything? She said no, I will inform the care team to cancel your membership and provide a full refund. And that was the end of it. I tried to look at the information online to make sure I wasn’t seeing things when I read they would provide oral medications as part of the membership if that’s what I chose ( I knew it said that) but literally had to be within 1 minutes she had deactivated my account. I was felt disgusted, embarrassed, upset and many other emotions. It was one of the most scammy, inconsiderate thing I’ve ever experienced. I understand glp-1’s are big money makers but my goodness…these are humans that they are dealing with. I didn’t even feel like a customer at that point, at least sales people pretend to be nice, concerned and interested to a certain point. What I would compare it to that I think a lot of people can relate to is a car lot sales experience. As long as they can talk you into something that isn’t the best fit for you they will be helpful but as soon as they see you have your own preference and feelings about what you do or don’t want you’re off no use to them. The only difference is that my clinician didn’t even attempt to make me feel welcomed. I feel really stupid how hopeful I was about this appointment. I chose it because I kind of feel like I’m being judged when I try to get help with losing weight at my pcp. This felt much worse. My sister helped me lose weight with what she learned when she did weight watchers as far as about what foods I could eat for little or no calories and I lost weight years ago. However, even though I know that the traditional weight watchers program is helpful, I do not recommend this option to anyone and now do not trust Weight Watchers anymore either because of this partnership or choice they have made to provide this type of service when they don’t even try to hide all they are is help-1 pushers. They don’t care if they’re helpful or not as long as they get people on those medications. I did not have any issue getting them to respond via messages, they actually seemed really nice but I am thankful I didn’t want any glp-1 meds because I don’t need all of the stress and problems that many others experienced in trying to even get them after they were prescribed. I normally don’t bother with writing reviews because I feel companies that I have bad experiences with don’t care anyway. But in this instance I don’t expect them to care at all, I just want to help someone who may very well be getting ready to waste their time and have false hopes about this program avoid what I am feeling now. I am going to look for other places to leave a review as well. It was difficult to find honest, informative reviews about this program. If they don’t refund my money like she said, I will be back to report that.

An absolute scam! There is zero indication that there will be any difficulty obtaining the GLP-1 meds at the time one signs up. This information is not shared until the actual process begins. Once a med is authorized they will send the prescription to the pharmacies in your zip code only. How much sense does that make? Your end of the bargain is finding the medicine, not stop the search and say "well you can take these oral meds instead". No, I did not sign up for these meds, I was promised a GLP-1. Thankfully, I was not charged the 3rd month because I had enough and told them I was done with them wasting my time and it would be best for them to not charge me an additional $84 for doing NOTHING. ZERO stars, disgusting business practices, total rip-off. Don't do it!

Zero stars. At $84/month, prepare for Weight Watchers/Sequence clinicians to dangerously fail to manage your care or call in your prescriptions on time, leaving you to suffer with painful gaps in care, no customer service, and, ultimately, no recourse. The “24/7” WW coaches say they can’t help when a customer is being screwed over by their clinician who is refusing to do their job, and there is no customer support line to make complaints. This isn’t medicine, this is a complete scam.

I wish I could give them a 0-rating! They have you take a “quiz” to see if you qualify for their program. I took the quiz and was told that I qualified. I paid the money and was so excited to get started! I had to schedule an appointment, and that took a week or so. In the meantime, I had to upload all kinds of different information, recent labs, insurance cards, a photo of me on the scale, etc. Today was my video appointment to get me started on the medication. My appointment literally did not even last 2 minutes because she said I did not qualify based off of my BMI. The SAME bmi that I “qualified” for in the beginning when they took my money! I will also be reporting to the BB. I work hard for my money. I got nothing in return. I received NO service whatsoever. Steer clear of Sequence. Nothing but thieves!

They are great at writing prescriptions that we cannot fill and provide no help for finding pharmacies that have stock of medication. I have paid membership for 3 months and never was able to fill one prescription.
