To give it one star is doing too much. This is just a way of taking peoples hard earned money when they are fully aware that insurance will not cover the medications unless its for type 2 diabetes. They gave me the runaround for over a month and I've accomplished nothing but frustration from being duped. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It started off good I had my consult I got approved for Zepbound and 1 month later my insurence cahnged and I said I need a refill on the medication but to least of my knowledge my insurance carrier needs a pre-authorization for this medicine. I’ve been trying to reach someone for one week already trying to solve this problem and no one and is really helping I am just getting runaround saying they have faxed my pre-authorization to my insurance company but but the insurance company says they have not received anything and I’ve been checking online to see if it’s been sent and nothing is there as well I have been given the run around for 1 week already and it’s most frustrating thing that I have inquired. Now I’m already off the medication. It’s gonna be a week and still nothing.

Sequence did not provide the Metformin I was approved for after two botched attempts to get it delivered to my home. I paid for the "buy 3 months and get 1 free option" but it has been two months and I've received nothing more than elementary education about diet and exercise that any grown healthy-living adult already knows. When I asked for my money back, I was told no. Don't waste your money—total scam.

i would have given it a zero if i could. this company lures you into a 3 month commitment when they know that the insurance company won’t pay for the GLP-1 meds. it is a complete scam. i can’t believe weight watchers owns this company! they wanted me to pay $80 a month for metformin that i could get for $20 a month with my insurance !

Scam. They offer help and I believe they know from the beginning who will and will not be covered for GLP-1 injections for weight loss. They take your money and basically ignore you....until the final prior Auth is denied. Then they send you 2 generic meds that are supposed to equal Contrave and you feel awful.... your heart beats out of your chest and it doesn't do much else.I would not recommend.

Sad to say I agree with everyone on here saying SCAM!!!! Do NOT waste your $!!!! I took semaglutide last summer through a medical weight loss place and lost 30lbs! It wasn’t $1000/month, but it was $350/month. I tried to lose the rest of the weight on my own, but I couldn’t. I turned to WW Sequence to see if they could help. Once they “reviewed” my medical history and saw I didn’t have one of their “medical issues” that was it. They had no use for me bc they knew my insurance wouldn’t cover the meds. (My insurance didn’t cover them the first time I was in them either!🙄) The Dr said sorry we can’t work together and canceled my membership. I’m beyond disgusted with this place!!! Do not waste your time!!!! It’s a scam and the people there are beyond rude and callous!

Complete scam. They steal your money, promise to give you a script to lose weight. Give you the smallest amount possible so you have to keep paying the monthly fee of $100 to get anything that will actually help amd then when your insurance finally catches on that you don't have diabetes and stops paying....they say, ok bye, thanks for your money and have a great journey. Total scam. Don't waste your money!

This is the biggest scam I have ever experienced. They lure you in by making convincing claims about helping you get on a weight loss drug and say they help getting insurance approval. But when insurance won’t approve they tell you they can’t help unless it’s self-pay which is about $1000 a month! Then when you can’t afford that and want to cancel the sequence membership because they can’t help, you are told you still have to pay for the 3 months at $84 per month for them to do absolutely nothing further! Do NOT sign up for this! Go to a local weight loss facility. I cannot believe weight watchers operates this way!

Requested a videoconference appointment with the provider, ended up with a "chat" consultation instead. The provider has not read anything I provided (and the website itself states the information hasn't been reviewed). The SINGLE message I got from the MD asked me to repeat the basic information already provided- medications and current diagnoses- both of which are "none." The rest of the message appears to be generic copy/paste nonsense and most irritating of all-platitudes about "starting a wonderful journey!" and emojis. I'd like to engage with a medical professional, not some influencer spouting trite comments and ending messages with cartoons. It's been several days, and nothing seems to be happening. There is no other way to get in contact with the company I can find.

I started over 2 weeks ago and have yet been set up on any plan. You are unable to speak with a live person only thru messaging online. I waited 2 days to see if I would get any sort of communication but just crickets. I’m not quite sure what I’m paying for. When I inquire about how long it may be before I hear from someone they say soon. Apparently their soon and my idea of soon are 2 different things. Trying to figure out when I should decide to jump ship or just hang in there.

This company will convince you that you’ll get approve by your insurance company. They won’t appeal for you and scam you for your money. DON’T TRUST THIS COMPANY

They do not work with you to appeal insurance determinations (appeals, formulary exceptions, etc). You would think with the added expense they would go above and beyond to ensure you get the medication you need. It is NOT WORTH the service fee. Work with your primary care doctor instead, you’ll save money in the long run.

I joined and I was told that I was eligible but found out after joining they didn’t accept my insurance , they knew this when I joined . My insurance company was paying for meds but they wanted me to use their meds.I am very disappointed , They were dishonest with me.I cancelled my membership. It a shame you can trust companies now.

Be aware that the $49 consultation fee is NOT refundable unless you cancel within 3 days of signing up AND have NOT had your consultation. This company is shady af.

It has been a full week and I just found out from my pharmacy they still have not sent a request for my weight loss medication. Unacceptable delays in trying to speak with them through messaging. Absolutely do not recommend them.

Painfully slow response times. I run out of my prescription almost every month before they get around to refilling it. Extremely frustrating to deal with.

This plan is a complete joke. They are scamming people out of money with their initial consult and 3 month period. They have no contact other than the chat box that only responds after 1-2 days. I did most of the work verifying with my insurance company about what meds could potentially be approved and advising sequence of what I found out, all while waiting weeks at a time everytime they submitted a prior authorization. I would check in with my prescription provider only to find out sequence had not sent anything to them (like they claimed they did) or they were waiting on a response back from sequence for several days in order to finish the prior authorization. I did get approved for wegovy and saxenda after 4 weeks runaround only to find out this medication is available NOWHERE. Zepbound was denied by insurance due to it being too new to market. Although that is not the denial reason the listed in my file, the insurance company advised me of this reason. I am currently trying to request some sort of refund from this company. How can they still be signing people up, especially those who are not diabetic- who qualify for other medications, knowing there is a nationwide shortage of the most popular medications promoted for an unknown amount of time. Complete joke. Waste of money. The fitness and eating plans are nothing new and can easily be found with any other weight loss program. It’s unfortunate that WW is now tied to this company.

Firstly, please be aware that most of these meds are not covered by insurance and the ones that are covered are not available due to nationwide shortages. If you fail to secure the medications, they do not give you a refund like other online programs. Shop around or you can end up paying a lot of money without the proper medications you need. Secondly, the team is very slow to respond and not really helpful. If you have an issue, it can take days to resolve if at all. I felt like i came up with most resolutions. And lastly and most importantly, the doctors are terrible. Not only is he very slow to respond, i don't believe he reads my file and past issues. It is like the doctor power responds to a few key words in your message, therefore you get the incorrect answer and have to wait another few days to try and get a resolution. Worse than that, I will write detailed questions asking for specific responses only to get an extremely short generic answer, not even answering my questions. Very frustrating. You are better off asking your primary care physician to write you a script as this Company adds no value in terms of support or in obtaining the medication.
