I am super disappointed in how frustrating it has been getting the correct prescription information from the Sequence doctor to Express Scripts, my company's mail order pharmacy. Nothing should be this difficult, and I am hoping to get this matter resolved sooner rather than later.

Don't bother wasting your money right now. You can not get any meds with the shortage out there. Glad I only signed up for 3 months and only lost 250. I have been waiting for Wegoovy for 2 months and nothing. Sure they offered other meds but being im not a diabetic I can't not get other meds. Not interested oral meds. That offer 5% weight loss. So if ypu can have your primary doc order the meds you will save on the monthly cost here and not receive anything !!!

Very poor experience! As business of helping people with weight loss, they lack care and concern. After one day and attempting to provide all info requested to be uploaded, they unsubscribed me and said there will be no future charges. I'm very interested to see if I will be refunded my initial payment!

If I could give zero stars I would. First: I opted to try Bupripion/Naltrexone. I told the practitioner that I was already on the maximum dose of Bupripion, so I should only be prescribed the Naltrexone (I also provided this Rx and dosage in my intake information prior to my consultation). They affirmed in that case they would only put in the order for Naltrexone, but when my first shipment arrived I received both Bupripion AND Naltrexone. Had I not been aware that I was already on the max dose of Bupripion and took the medication as it was directed I would have been puting myself at risk of having a seizure. Second: For context, they say to request a refill ONE WEEK before you will run out of medication to account for processing and shipping time. On a subsequent shipment I only received 15 pills instead of a 30 day supply. When I alerted my "care team" as soon as I noticed the error (TWO WEEKS before I would be out of medication) they were apologetic and told me they placed an order to replace the missing pills. 9 days after I was told the order was placed I followed up because I had not received a shipping notification. They reiterated that the order was being placed and "in process". I told them I would be cancelling if I did not receive my medication in time to continue taking it without interruption. I was told on December 7th that my prescription was shipping that day. Fast forward to the day after I ran out of medication and canceled my subscription (December 12th), I finally received an email notification that my prescription would be shipping and a tracking number. Go to your regular GP or take your chances with one of the many other online services.

Sequence is growing too fast and cannot keep up. The only way to communicate as a member is through the Care Team app. The Care Team has 1-2 business days to respond, do not respond over weekends or holidays, does not have a chat option or 1-800 number. So if you have a question that needs immediate attention, plan to make it be Wednesday or else you’re waiting days for a response. Bupropion/Naltrexone are offered as part of the subscription through their supplier. However, they have no visibility into their supplier’s process or supply. So of the 2 months I received medication, both took 10 days to get and the tracking info was not updated along the way. The Care Team could not tell me where my meds were or why the delay. Second month there apparently was a known shortage of the medication which they only informed me about after I went several messages over several days. Worst part is the admin on their member Sequence group was condescending and tried to gaslight me that their customer service was acceptable. She even told me that if I don’t like the service I’m getting, I’m free to leave. So I did. To another company that has all the customer support features and shipped within 12 hours of the prescription being sent. It’s a shame that Sequence is sub par. I went to them due to their affiliation with Weight Watchers. There are better options out there. Don’t waste your time, money or energy.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Sequence. We are sorry that our service didn't meet your expectations. We are working on expanding our support offerings. In addition to your Care Team, we have support teams that monitor social media messages, our support email, and these reviews. For members who are also WeightWatchers members, we also offer support at 800-651-6000. We strive to offer the best service to our customers and are disappointed when we fall short. We apologize for any delays you experienced receiving your medication from our mail-order pharmacy partner, and we understand your frustration with not being informed about the shortage of your medication in a timely fashion. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Scam. Total scam. Buyer beware. They told me I was a good fit, got me to join, and then I learned that I’d have to also pay for the medication in addition to the very high monthly fee despite having great insurance. Forget sequence; go to your primary care doctor instead.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand it can be frustrating if your medication is not covered by insurance. Unfortunately, we don't determine insurance coverage— your formulary does. The most common reason someone would not have coverage for a medication that's FDA-approved for weight management (e.g. Wegovy) is due to a formulary exclusion, meaning your insurance excludes coverage for any anti-obesity medication under your specific plan. Since many members have these exclusions, we offer a suite of Core medications that are included in the cost of membership. To learn more, we recommend the FAQ question, "Is medication included in the monthly fee?" https://www.joinsequence.com/faq

I was offered participation through Weight Watchers. Based on the information provided, the Sequence program offered, in addition to access to weight loss medications, a personalized program including nutrition support, fitness plan, and coaching/support along the way. I signed up for a 3 month plan ($64/mo) plus a $49 intake/clinician meeting via Zoom. What isn't explained up front: 1) the meds cost between $1000-1500/month if your insurance won't cover them and 2) if you aren't willing to shell out the out-of-pocket drug costs, the other aspects of the Sequence program, (nutritionist, fitness, coach) are not available; 3) when you sign up for a 3-month plan, you cannot 'unsubscribe' until after the contract period. After my initial 'consultation' I was informed via a text message that I wasn't a suitable candidate for their 'program' and I had been 'unsubscribe' from the program. Nice tough, eh? How insulting! To make certain I am not charged the 3-month contract fee, I contacted my CC company and put a block on any future charges. I also contacted WW because their website is misleading. I wonder how far up the complaint chain that will go.

Thank you for your feedback. On our website homepage, we state: "Your Sequence program includes the cost of labs and non-GLP-1 medications. The cost of GLP-1 medications is subject to insurance coverage. Your Care Team will help you with insurance coverage." We also have an FAQ question dedicated to this topic: Is medication included in the monthly fee? https://www.joinsequence.com/faq If you were found to be clinically unsuitable, as it seems in your case, we are able to end 3-month contracts earlier. Please message your Care Team to learn more.

Without warning, I was kicked out of the program. After not answering me for ten days I said it was unprofessional and cruel, and then they chose that moment to say that language was “abusive.” These people don’t seem to care about actually helping people.

Could I do less than one star. Please believe those who say this is a scam. The first step was supposed to be a "doctor consultation". It wasn't a doctor but a very unprofessional nurse practitioner. She never indicated she had seen all the records I had to send to them. She just started out -- I'm not kidding--with "what kind of medication do you want?" Isn't that what she is supposed to advise me? I have Medicare and apparently Medicare doesn't cover any of the meds. Shouldn't she have know this ahead of time? I asked her a question about payment. She had no idea. As predicted, Medicare did not approve me for the medication. I haven't heard from Sequence. I asked for someone to call me. Crickets. This is an unprofessional organization. Don't bite the bait like I did.

this is a scam! I just had my starting appointment and it lasted 2 minutes. Asked about getting the medication as its been on backorder and unavailable everywhere. I asked how they get it and she said there is no guarantee of getting any of the medications. When I asked her what I'm paying for then I was disconnected. Received a message saying that based on my responses I was not a good fit for the program and then she cancelled me from the program.

Wish I would have read the reviews before I committed to the program. If the medicine isn't available to get, why do they offer it as an option? Waste of time and money filled with empty promises.

Total scam. After a month's time from signing up, I was still without any medication or actual support. The insurance "preauthorization" process is a stall tactic they use to delay providing a prescription, even if you offer to pay out of pocket, and to force you into additional months' payment into the program. They also don't provide the promised help of finding a nearby pharmacy that actually carries the listed medication options. I am disgusted with them and myself for being taken in and wasting so much time and money.

A complete scam I was charged $99 and advised that it was for the prior month despite trying to cancel the plan. Finally got someone to cancel it and they refused to refund me my money and advised I could use it until 9/24. Well I attempted to get my last prescription refilled and they refused and told me because the medication last 4 weeks it would be longer than my subscription. I would have to sign up again to get my prescription! If you can avoid this company do so!

You don't get much for the money. It Felt a little shady. They sent me to a pharmacy that refused to fill my prescription. So they told me to run all over town until I find a pharmacy that would fill it. What a bunch of BS. Just go to your primary Doctor to get a prescription. It's much cheaper and you don't have to throw away $99.00 dollars a month for very little sevice.

No medication in my area for two months, but still charged $99 fee. FOR WHAT???? It takes days for their follow up, just to hear “we're sorry, we know it's frustrating”. They would do better obtaining and shipping the injections themselves. I wouldn't recommend them to family or friends.

Beware! Do NOT recommend! Paid $49 doctor fee with first month “free”. Learned my insurance doesn’t cover this pricey medication, so I cancelled. Two weeks later I am charged $84. Contacted customer service and was told it’s not cancelled and NO refund as I made a 3 month commitment! Literally their website states “ we want to make it simple, cancel ANYTIME”! Ripoff and scam!

Do not use this company! I did not qualify for semaglutides which was fine. I decided to go the contrave route (bupropium/naltrexone). I received an email that the meds had shipped, but after tracking through USPS I realized that only a shipping label had been created and the medicine had not been shipped. The Care Team is not responding to messages and it’s been two weeks. If you are stuck dealing with this company, just report the credit card you used as stolen, to get out off paying for this dumpster fire of a company. It’s an absolute scam.
