“NOT received yet, DHL IN LARNACA CYPRUS refuse to deliver to my P.O.BOX, They expected me to drive 85 miles to pick it up, only after me phoning them numerous times with language difficulties, did I find this out. They now have agreed to deliver to a friend on Monday in Paphos, I HOPE! .I am NOT happy”

“I ordered a jacket on Friday with express delivery. I live quite close to the UK. It is now Wednesday and the tracking page has shown no changes. Item still shown in Leeds.”

“My order was shipped my Sport Direct, and I have exchanged 4 or 5 emails with them trying to resolve the situation. Their customer service is truly appalling, in all honesty. The gist of what I said was this: I bought my first Karrimor bag (20L) well over 7 years ago and it served me well. Eventually both zippers broke and it was time to get a new one - I was, overall, extremely happy with that one and ordered a 30L backpack this time, to be delivered to me in Ukraine. Even with the high shipping costs, I wanted a good, durable, reliable bag and didn't mind paying more for shipping. Unfortunately this bag was nowhere near as reliable as my last one. Immediately, the zippers started getting caught on the inner lining and just opening and closing the bag was difficult. After just a couple of weeks, the first zipper broke, and the condition of the bag is pretty rough - the inner lining around the zipper area is already frayed and in bad shape. This bag was delivered in mid-September, and within just a few weeks it was already hard to use. I sent photos of my old bag - the lining is still in great shape - compared to my new one to Sports Direct and they said they could do nothing about, claiming it was due to 'excessive force'. When I responded again, they merely repeated the same excuse, without answering any of my questions. Furthermore, every email took up to a week for them to respond, and the responses were short and curt. I told them that I wasn't going to send my bag back to the UK because the postal service here is not dependable at all, and it would probably end up costing me more to post it back to the UK than to just buy a new rucksack here. Suffice to say, I am far from satisfied, as my bag is barely usable at the moment. Kind regards, Daniel Puzzo”

“Unfortunately the jacket received was not as described in my order, a completely different style (and colour) I thought there was something a bit odd on the website, same jacket at different prices, I chose the cheaper price and have now to return the jacket and get a refund, which will hopefully include the postage! Delivery service excellent let’s hope the refund process is as smooth!”

“Having had several operations on my feet, I have great difficulty in getting shoes that are comfortable whilst not being frumpy. These are absolutely perfect and have the solid sole - yet still being cushioned inside, that I need. Just waiting to see some more summery colours when the seasons allow”

“About ok I suppose. Ordered Thursday pm - delivered Monday am so I shouldn't moan really. The so-called 'walking' shoes just weren't what I wanted or expected. I'd assumed that they'd be a flexible shoe for easy wearing but they were stiff and almost rigid. Then there was the awful drawstring plastic bit sticking up and the hardly-adjustable heel section (that would almost certainly break before too long) and it all added up to a botched design so far as I was concerned. Returned the same morning - but I had to pay postage both ways...”

“Great selection of clothes and all our very well designed. After buying from the website I was informed of all steps taken to ensure that the goods arrive safely, still waiting for them to be delivered :) I have now received th goods and so satisfied with the quality and delivery time was just over a week, so I am absolutley chuffed. “Shocking service. If I'd known that Sports Direct were involved I wouldn't have bothered. Item ordered and paid for on 5th November and after a number of emails to and from Sports Direct, the emails were complete nonsense firstly stating the item was with the carrier, then the item was lost in transit then they owned up that the item never left their store and eventually stated the size I ordered was not in stock. I raised a dispute through PayPal and got my money back 2.5 weeks later.”

“service was excellent however i ordered two different style jackets in the same size, one was so large you could have fit two people in it and the other was quite snug, unsure as to why such a difference in the sizing, both items returned, reordered smaller size which is always a good feeling :-)”
