“I was invoiced correctly for the wine vintage I had ordered but a later vintage was deliverd, which I did not notice until I started to stack the bottles into the cellar. I was not informed about the substitution and the issue would have gone to the keeper had I not noticed it.
I was offered a price adjustment (as the vintage supplied was being sold at a lesser price) which I accepted, but I am disappointed that this was not flagged at the time of purchase.
Score 4/10”
“Unfortunately I ordered believing delivery was to be in 1-3 days. That apparently was if I paid an extra $44.36 which I learned later. I was advised the parcel was on its way on the 11th. Several days later I was advised delivery would be 16 th to 17th. Way too late. The parcel then apparently arrived on the 18th!! Unfortunately it appears no one has seen it and I have lost $100.
So not happy Jan!!!!”
“Sent the wrong item. Was not the Don Julio Rasado but hte Don Julio 1942. So not a bad product in the end but still not the product I had ordered and shown in this review. Disappointed and will not use this service again. Best to just pick up from a cellar door.”
“Kent st cellars use aramex for delivery if I had known this before placing an order I wouldn’t have submitted the order. I am still waiting on resolution and a refund on this matter.”
“Price is fair.
But use Aramex for delivery and I receive nothing for 2 weeks and still waiting. Let’s see if I will miss the festival season.
Overall Very unreliable. To save some like $10 on a $200 bottle but has to deal with all those dramas.”
“I have purchased the wine for over 2 plus weeks ago, it has not been delivered and just get the notice that is has been delayed.
The wine was purchased for me to take out the country and time is getting really close and still yet received the wine and a feedback.
Past purchase, service was good though.”
“No problem with Kent Street Cellars as a business as they processed my order promptly . However I have a major problem with the couriers they used and the instructions those couriers were given. The order was an incredibly expensive bottle of French champagne for my son’s wedding. Without consultation whether it needed to be signed for (one would think so for a $360 bottle of champagne) it was left on my front step in full view of the road (and I don’t have a fence)! Luckily I have security cameras and saw the above occur so I had to leave my seminar and get home as quickly as possible (while I watched the parcel on my front steps via my phone)! I’m 70 and don’t need this type of stress. Kent cellars you need to have a criteria re costs of parcel being sent and whether it should be signed for !!!!! It will make me think twice before I order from you again.”
“Parcel was broken in transit, which was acceptable but then to be delayed by another 5 days, the objective was to arrive due to the death of her mother. To arrive late defeated the purpose. I felt another option could hav been explored to ensure a quicker delivery.
The accompanying card was also not delivered with the gift so it had no context to the recipient. I had to phone and explain who sent the gift .
Won't be using this service again .”
“Disapointed to say the least. We were not avare that the botles were only 375ml, as it was not writen anywhere. Nice trap to purchase few botles. Thaank you.”
