“Very happy with service and efficiency - delivering on time to the outback in Queensland. Have dropped a star because they promised free delivery for orders over $200. I ordered over $300 and was charged for delivery, which I paid.
I've dropped another star because, having contacted them on their website about that issue, they never got back to me.”
“Great wine at good prices but be careful of the delivery method . If you don’t pay for express delivery ( or have a concierge!) there is a reasonable chance your order will end up at the local Post Office .. with all the in efficiencies of collection”
“Ordering, packaging, gift wrapping, dispatch and delivery were fine - no complaints. However, your communication post-delivery was not.
I received an email a week after delivery saying if I made the same purchase again (at least a couple of hundred dollars) I would receive some free stuff. The offer closed at midnight that day. It said 'complimentary ... with your purchase today' and thus appeared to be not only 'for a limited time', but for an extremely limited time (less than one day).
I emailed back asking if I could have some free stuff too. Brad responded, asking to confirm my order. I gave him the details. Then..... crickets. Then lots of pre-Christmas offers, but no response from Brad. I reminded him a week later that I hadn't received a response. Then.... more offers. I had to turn them off in the end, they were so annoying.
Nearly three weeks later, and I still haven't heard anything from you. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth, not just the failue to respond, but the disingenuous offers, that aren't really offers at all.”
“What can you say. I ordered and it was delivered in the time stated. Price was good. Telstra let the team down by making me go to the zoo to collect when I was home all day.”
“I was pleased with my order of the Yamazaki 12 arriving though it arrived for pick up at the local post office rather than being delivered to my address. That, however, was not the only unusual thing as when I started to order the whisky it was listed at $279 but when I completed my order I was charged $299 the next day as I had problems with my internet the night before. “I'm a first time client.Ordered two bottles of sipping tequila El Tosoro Reposado and Anejo . I struggled to open the Anejo bottle as the plastic cap separated from the cork part . I contacted their support division to mention that. I was told that it was a common problem problem and that I had to buy super glue and fix it . I thought that if was a common problem why wouldn't they fix it themselves instead of inconvenience their customers, especially their first-time ones . Poor service I thought.”

“Extremly happy with Kent Street Cellars, but carrier is terrible and unreliable, was home all day parcel was to be delivered, surprised to receive message that, as nobody home parcel taken to collection point. Check of camera attached to door access, showed no form of attempted delivery.
I order on line, because of age 89 years it is difficult to go out and lift heavy packages.

“Delivered the right order at the right time, so nothing to complain about there. But there is no option to include a message, or choose a delivery time, or have the item wrapped. So not the best service for sending a gift to someone else.”
“Great selection and pricing is fair, but they use Aramex for deliveries, who are just the worst of the worst and no doubt the cheapest. No self-respecitng wine merchant should use them. On our last delivery, the driver 'left the item in a safe place', which was on our front porch in plain view in Redfern.”
“Normally really good. The last order was to ship 2 cartons. 1 was picked and delivered. The courier’s tracking page showed pickup failure for the 2nd carton with the ReislingFreak. I have been chasing since the 28th Feb but no updates.”
“From my recent order with Kent was a hit and miss.
I ordered a box of chamagne well in advance for Friday's party. The wine was delivered on Wednesday to a completely wrong address via Aramex which I have had unsatisfactory experience with in the past.
I raised the issue with the team, and Brad was very helpful, and he resent another box of champagne thorugh a different delivery company on Thursday with a promise to get it delivered before 5pm on Friday and he left an instruction to call me upon arrival on my mobile.
To much of disappointment, they hadn't been delivered until Monday, and the delivery guy failed to call me on arrival. I ended up having buying another box of champagne at a local bottle shop at the last minute.
3 stars to 1. value for price, 2. great service, 3. prompt response from Brad: he couldn't do anything better.
2 stars deducted due to 1. the first delivery got lost (I have no idea where this delivery guy delivered my champagn), 2. the second delivery didn't arrive on time. Eventually, it didn't suit my purpose of having the wine delivered for the party.
I would love to use Kent Street Cellars again so that I can retain confidence, but not sure whether I will do so through Aramex.”
