“I'm afraid to start using till im v sure I'm on bha since the testing strips are so so expensive and i can'tbuy it in Canada. I'm using the cheaper blood glucose meter till then. I'm in ketosis but not sure on bha.”

“For example, I measured my glucose 3x one morning. One right after another and I got readings of 120 (which is higher than I have ever had), 89 next then 100 on third try. How can I trust this thing. Also I find these meter sticks hard to use. My blood does not go down the stick channels easily so I waste many sticks. So far I prefer the your previous meter”

“I loved my old meter and enjoyed it for years. The new one doesn't calibrate evenly and each strip is individually packaged---making it absolutely unnecessary HELL for anyone with hand pain or arthritis. I DO NOT need to check my blood sugar, I DO NOT need to check my phone. I really regret sending back my old meter which simply did a great job or providing consistent ketone readings.”

“Glucose strips very inaccurate compared to Abbott’s glucose strips that I have used with another reader. Readings vary up to 30-40 “points” when taken within seconds/minutes of each other. Because of the wide swing in numbers I used all 80 of my glucose strips within a couple weeks trying to determine my actual blood sugar level each time I checked it - each time used 5-10 strips. Ketones seem to be more accurate. Other strips I went back to using only vary up to 5 “points” when tested multiple times in a row to test accuracy.”

“Customer service is excellent -prompt and questions answered. The new GK+ meter, however is a disappointment: no option to change the BG units of measure (mgL) displayed on the instrument, as you can on the GK meter (switch to mmol/L). The test strip packing is awkward to opening & thus frustrating (and quite wasteful).”

“Hello I find the contraction quite terrific, However, it came with a few test strips and I wanted to order more for me ketogenic journey and I find that the strips are (EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE) for 60 replacement strips it adds up to be more than the machine Itself and I find that highly unacceptable there is just no way that I am willing to pay those extravigant prices. So I'm back to square one with keeping tabs on my blood sugar as far as Ketones are concerned.”

“I had tons of issues with the unit when I first received it. This was my first blood meter and the learning curve was steep. My meter wasn’t reading properly and I couldn’t figure it out. I burned though tons of test strips learning how Tobias it without success. The “customer service” basically just sent FAQ links to solve my issues. I wanted to return the meter, but found out I cannot!! This wasn’t clear, or I wouldn’t have wasted my money. So I have a $90 meter that isn’t consistent, I’m almost out of test strips and I can’t return it!! So i either toss it in the trash, or spend more money to test my blood and have zero confidence the numbers are accurate. Just an all around poor experience.”

“Sadly disappointed in the new Keto Mojo monitor, the flimsy test strips, and lack of hard copy information. Will probably continue to order the original strips until they are no longer available. Sometimes newer is not better especially among the older generation.”

“I can't get consistent readings. When I take two or three readings at the same time the glucose readings are greatly different. I would expect them to be in a much closer range. And yes I did calibrate the instrument.”

“I don't like the business model. They want you to update your device rather than do a software update. I had just purchased testing strips, but they won't work with the new device. I didn't update the device. I bought testing strips. This will be the last batch. When I run out, I'll buy a device from a competitor.”

“Not consistent readings from meter, even when two done back to back. No support for error msgs. related to my mojo health. Informational videos on Keto are good though. Can’t find any mentor? Kind of defeated.”

“The new design on the meter is disappointing. None of the changes are better, and most are a net negative. The strips are individually wrapped, creating more waste and an extra step. The release button is finicky. Even after calibration, the readings for ketones and blood glucose can vary by as much as 30%, for readings taken at the same time and readings compared with the remaining strips for my old version of the same monitor. I do like the black display, though. That's nice. But overall, I'll probably use up the strips I have then look for a new meter, which is disappointing since the previous version was really great.”
