The mechanic texted to inform me after performing a tuneup that he couldn't fix the rear disc brake because he couldn't find the part and had no idea when it would be available. He should have contacted me before proceeding because I would have nixed the transaction. So I was stuck with a 99 buck bill to retrieve my bike with a worthless and unsafe rear brake. I requested a refund and the store manager offered to reduce the bill by 16 dollars after trying to sell me a new bike. I have purchased several bikes from Kozy's in the past but you flunked Business 101 this time around. The tuneup/repair was clearly mishandled and I want a refund.

In July 2021 I bought a new e-bike from Kozy on Milwaukee. The sales person, Luis, could not find the key to the battery pack but assured me that he would get it to me quickly. I'm still waiting for the key. Kozy asked me to return the bike to the store for reasons I did not understand. They still have my bike. Luis keeps telling me that everything is under control. I no longer believe him. I have left a phone message for the owner, Paul Kozy, and hope I will hear back from him soon with a solution.

I stopped by about to inquire about getting a bike. They had along line outside due to the Covid restrictions. I told what i was looking for , which was a bike i could take off road and drive on the pavement. They didn't have any bikes to show at that time , everything was sold out. sales rep told me hybrid bike is what he would recommend. I was shown 2 pictures then told to put deposit of $50.00 . Bike would come in in a month then i will be able to see it and decide whether i take it or not. He emphasized on the fact that selection is very limited right now and more bikes wont arrive to the stores until winter. The entire visit took about 20 minutes. 19.30minutes standing in the line outside the store, 30seconds inside. Being rushed through is not even the right expression to describe it. The bottom line is , I wouldn't recommend the store to anyone. Especially to someone buying a brand new bike for the first time.

The manager would not allow me in the store with my service dog. He then proceeded to berate me about paperwork regarding the service animal, which is ILLEGAL. He was very rude to me and discriminated against a person with a disability (which is punishable by federal law). I was ready to purchase a $500+ bike, but now I will not be giving them a penny. If you buy a bike here, know that you're supporting a business that discriminates against our disabled community.

Despite telling multiple workers exactly what I planned to use the bike for, riding the lakefront trail, they still pushed me to buy a hybrid. When I'd ask about it (vs. a road bike) they'd pause and say something like "yeah, it'll do that" in a hesitant manner. I thought they were just surprised I was asking and that it should have been obvious to me. The bike looks great but for riding into work, the specific thing I bought it for, I'd rather pull out my 1 speed with coaster brakes and use that. With weather being what it has this spring I haven't gotten many opportunities to ride it in and now that I've come to see just how bad this bike is it's beyond the refund/exchange window and I'm stuck with an expensive bike that I don't want.

I went to purchase an electric bike they had advertised on their website and when I arrived they said the bike was in pieces. I also called the day before and a sales rep told me they had the bike. The sales rep gave me the hand to neck sign, stating it was no good. The was listed for $1300.00. He then went on to tell that the company who made the bike was going out of business. Then he proceeded to show me bikes that cost over. $3000.00 hmmmm. Not okay. This sounds like a ploy to me.
